Its my big brother's birthday today! happy B-day dude!
I am going down to meet him, my parents, my SIL and my sweet baby for lunch today. If Gary is feeling ok- he is coming too.

I printed out one of my scrap pages and I have to see if I can find a 5x7 frame somewhere in my non-shopping friendly town.

This weekend went fast and slow at the same time. We had no plans and Cait just had a mess of friends over from Friday night to last night. I can't say it enough, I would rather have the screeching teens in my house than to not not what they are up to somewhere else.
Gary and I watched a couple of movies on Netflix- and they couldn't have been more different. The Other Guys (Will Farrell) and Restrepo (documentary of Afghanistan war). The Other Guys was silly- just what we expected it to me. Restrepo what heartbreaking. One of the main speakers/soldiers had such a baby face. And to go through such horrors- all of them.

I hope that everyone had a fabulous weekend and has an even better Monday!!!
 
Good morning everyone...grrr sometimes my computer makes me so mad!! I had a big long post and then lost it!!
Anyway, it is a beautiful day here and its so nice to see the sun shining! I spent most of the day outside yesterday in the garden, so no layouts were done :hurt: But hopefully this afternoon when I get home I can finally sit down and get to work! There are so many great challenges this month and I want to get them all done!

Chris - Happy Birthday to your brother, he is a lucky guy to have such a great sister! I agree with you about the girls hanging at your house, so much better to have them there then not knowing what they are are up to!!

To everyone who pops in here today, I hope that you have a wonderful Monday and that the weather is great for all of you!! :wave:
 
I am having a HUGE case of the BLAHS today. I didn't take any medications this weekend and that is probably why I feel bluesy today. Plus...having Derek gone just sucks and to make life even better he lost his credit card. Not happy about that. Okay, I'm off. Wow!! I am a real downer today. Tomorrow will be better. Hugs everyone!!
 
summer is coming- sunny & warm today- I guess, I was inside all day. However, when I got home, I ate my dinner out on the deck, and I watered some plants. I love the back deck because there are so many birds- hummer, finches, robins- fun to watch
