Happy Monday everyone except for Ona who I have to say happy Tuesday too :) Did everyone who celebrated Father's Day have a good one? I hope so! Ours was the usual f-ed up mess that family gatherings tend to be. We always start out with the best of intentions. Gary didn't sleep again that night- and was up until 6 am, We let him sleep until 9:30 am but he was feeling pretty sick. He had been doing better a few weeks ago, but is now back on the down slide. It hurts to see him so sick. Like Clara said too- I am a "fixer" and it kills me that I can't fix this mess we are in. So we go to IL's without him, which bites. :( I haven't been myself the last few days- brain fog is making me a bit nutty. I hate not being able to think and be motivated and to be able to do the things I used to be able to do. Within minutes of getting to my IL's Scott is downstairs, trips and puts his arm through the glass window of the backdoor. My SIL is an EMT and she got him all patched up. Thankfully it wasn't bad- could have been much worse. I felt like I was just out of it the rest of the time there. I missed Gary, I wanted him to be feeling good, and to be with us. I guess I am just feeling fried...... I don't have anything else to say. Love you all and I hope that this post doesn't bum y'all out. xoxoxo
 
Chris - We love and support you and totally understand those days. I wish I could wave a magic wand and make you and your fam all better. I also wish I could say more to be supportive, but I think the best thing to say right now is that we love you and are here for you.
 
Good morning ladies.

I am just trying to wake up. For some reason I was just crashed hard when it was time to get up. I have a feeling Ben isn't getting to daycare for a little bit. =)

I have got to clean the kitchen/living room up a little bit today (seems like I'm always doing that) and work on some stuff for my class which starts on Wednesday. I'd love to get the basement cleaned out. There are a couple of exercise recumbent bikes at Wally World that I think would be pretty nice. But I'd have to get the basement cleaned up in order to get one. That is a MAJOR undertaking. I'm not sure when I'm going to do that, but I think I'll make it a goal.

Clara - Love your new avi! Hope the ice cream turned out well!
Linda - Hope your weekend was good. I meant to watch for wrestling, but I forgot was it on?
Dawn - Thanks for the great layout darling. You are sooo talented!

Hey everybody!
Well, Vince left early this morning for Charleston. So the first thing I did when I got up was make some veggie and garbanzo stew with lots of onions and garlic. He wont' eat beans or a lot of veggies, but I love them. So... make lemonade, right?

Slept terribly tho. I was in bed with both little girls. Atha came down with a bad cold last night and was coughing and sneezing all night. Bad coughs too, the ones that sound like goose honks. Jenny was tossing and turning. She's a horrible sleeper, one of her issues with her developmental disorder. So between that and Vince leaving I barely slept. Despite it all, I feel pretty good this morning. Poor Atha had to miss vacation bible school which started today, and she was totally excited for. Maybe tomorrow.

Chris - I'm new and don't know you very much (except as a dedicated mafioso on FB!) but I am with everybody else- take care we are here for you. BTW, I couldn't decide between the lotion and the shower gel so I got 'em both! I love body spray, do you make that?

Sara - Yeah, cleaning the kitchen and living room is kind of like painting the Golden Gate bridge: as soon as you are finished you have to start right over again!

Good morning ladies!!

Happy Monday. I had to start my day today with some coffee. I'm going out for dinner tonight so I will be restarting my healthy eating plan tomorrow so I got a nice yummy coffee today. Plus calories don't count today. Whoohoo!! Tonight we are going to this super yummy italian restaurant. I got a babysitter for the kids which will be great. This girl hasn't watched my kids before and she is going to be watching Addie all day on Saturday while I am at Relay for Life so it will be nice for her to have a pre-date with this girl so that she doesn't freak out on Saturday.

So...as most of you already know...I made the big jump. It was amazing. I can't believe I actually did it. I have even scrapped a page already for a challenge for Danielle Young Designs...New Things Challenge...check it out. It was a fun page to do and I think I will be doing a few pages. The video is up on FB now. I want to get my hubby's up too. They kind of compliment each other, but my work computer has a cd drive and not a dvd player. Later today I'll have them both up. I couldn't get it up on Youtube. I wasn't very happy about that. But FB worked out perfectly. Yay!! Feel free to check it out, or not. My language wasn't the best. Ooops.

We had a great weekend. I spend Friday with some friends, I got to nmeet my sister's new love interest. he's a nice guy, which makes me happy. Then Saturday was the big jump. After the jump we went back to my parents' house for tacos. My sister made homemade tortillas. They were awesome. Then I made homemade fried ice cream. It came out better than I expected. So yummy. I was stuffed by the time we went to bed. The next morning we got up fairly early and drove home to get to church in time for the last service for the grand opening weekend. I got my dh to come, which is always awesome since he doesn't go to church. Then we went and ate BBQ and played in the park for a bit. It was just an awesome weekend. It was busy but relaxing. DH had an awesome Father's Day. Between skydiving and then getting a kegerator he was loving life. My parents are working on downsizing their house so we acquired the kegerator from them. Then i have a friend who works for Budweiser distribution and he hooked me up with a couple of Fat Tire taps for the thing. All it cost me was an iced latte. Those things cost about $50 a piece if you buy them and I got two. I love that I have such a wide variety of friends. Life is just good.

So...I wish everybody was having as great a Monday as I am.

Chris - I am so sorry you are having such a rough time. I really wish there was anything I could do to help make things easier. Just know that I am here along with all of the rest of the O-fam. If you ever think of anything we can do to help...please let us know. I'm sorry your Father's Day didn't go so well. I'm sorry Gary felt so yucky. I hope some extra sleep helped him a little bit. I'll be praying for you guys.

Sara - Good luck getting your basement cleaned out. I hate to clean. And then the idea of cleaning so that I could work out...I don't see that happening ever. I hope you are much more motivated than I am.

Andrea - I'm sorry you are without YMG for a bit. That is always hard. How long is he gone for?

Sara - Like your goal! I started a list of house hold projects that I *WILL* get down by then end of the year! I think I need to make it real by scrapping it :)

MrsB - Am so sorry that your MrG left :( ((hugs)) I hope the girls feel better soon!

Last night was such a bad night....Nick's scabs must be working there way off and he was in such pain I didn't get to sleep until 3:30am...I felt so bad for him...WOW I cannot believe how fast he went downhill! The worst part is DH has to work OT and won't be home until way late.....lord is my tushy dragging and I can't get to DD for coffee! *sigh* Like MrsB says though...you make Lemonade right? So we are trying to have a fun day and then we will take a nap soon to recovery :) All is crazy but good!
 
Ooops....and I was in so awe of Clara looking at her layout...that I totally forgot to say....

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YOU GO GIRL!!! I am sooooo impressed with you!! That is amazing! Love the pictures and you made such a fab layout of your adventure :)

Hi girls! might catch some of you before you all go to bed!! Nothing excited has happened over the weekend or yesterday (monday). DH has come down with the flu/cough so it hasn't been pleasant at home!! Why are men such big babies!!! :) Anyway, its Tuesday morning and to be honest I couldn't get out of the door quick enough this morning!!! :) and today there is SUN!!! it just rained all weekend and some poor people in Clarence Valley today are again in flood!! We are ok for the time being, as long as we get some sunny dry days again before it rains again.

Linda: hahhaha! I'm always in reverse!!! nice to see you sweets!! hope you are feeling better!

Chris: hugs and lots of healing light heading your way!! hope Monday has been kind to you!!

Sara: good luck with the basement cleaning!!! I had a bit of cleaning thing happening on Saturday morning.......didn't last too long mind you but at least I could see where I had cleaned! :)

Clara: so glad you had a fantastic time on the weekend!! and congrats again on the jump!! you rock girl!!!! :)

Kat: poor little boy! hope he is feeling better and hopefully you both might get some sleep tonight! and....um.....can I come with you on that ARK you're talking about building?? :)

Andrea: sorry hear your DH has left. now you just have to keep popping in to chat with us and do more scrapping and before you know it he will be home again (at least for a little while).
