Happy Monday!!!
Its the last week of school for us. Scott is thrilled, Caitlyn is depressed. And gee, I must be the mean mom that won't let her see her friends. *eye roll* Scot tnever goes to the lake with me any more, so I use his badge to bring friends with her. but she won't get to see them every daaaaaaaaaaaaaay! :Cry:

I survived the weekend. I am still feeling like crud, but slightly better, so that is a good sign. Its either a herx from hell, or when I got bitten in March by a tick- I could have gotten a different/new infection. I should see if my dr can send me up some more blood work orders and get that done before the next time i see her.

Did everyone have a nice weekend and the dad's enjoyed their day? I was so happy to be able to celebrate it with my brother. he and kathy were so happy to be able to pass that baby around, but I know that they were even happier to get him back. I took a bunch of pics, but I have no idea how they came out. I hope to work on them today.

Me Me monday- my hair dresser is coming today and giving all 4 of us trims. That is really exciting, so maybe my hair won't be a rats nest all summer!

Morning all - I've dropped off the treadmill the past few days- yell at me if I do not post tonight that I got back on after work. Check my facebook for a pic of the spitfire that we found in the garage this morning- should not have left the door open. As much as I love cats, we are trying to downsize so I/we are free to travel more - last day of work for a co-worker that will be getting married on Saturday- he then has honeymoon and new job. Okay- off to shower and leave for work.
 
Morning....

Dropped Cameran off at VBS this morning....trying to focus and get a few things done....NOT WORKING TOO WELL!!!

Mike is on Vacay....he is out putting a basketball goal together we bought last night...found it on Craigs list for $30 WOOHOOOO!! Cameran is happy!!!

I am hoping for a trip to the country this week for the day!!! I NEED TO GET AWAY FROM THIS HOUSE!!!

Gonna run put Miss S down for her nap....she is FUSSSSSSSSEEEEE!!!! she keeps hollering OUTSIDE!!! but I can't take her out now...she will never come in!!!
 
Happy Monday everyone... off to work for a full day today, so hope to be back here this evening for some personals. Not looking forward to work as I am very tired and did not have a good sleep last night. I want to go back to :sleep:.

Chris - I hope that you are feeling better each day! Wish I could come to the beach with you!!

Laurie- Have a great day at work, I need to become your friend on facebook so I could see this pic you are talking about.

NanaLinda -A day in the country sounds like just what the dr. ordered!! Hope you and your MG and the kids get to spend some time outside today with your new basketball goal!! What a great deal you found on that!! Have a wonderful day!

happy monday....gonna go to the lake today weather permitting they say storms around 4ish....so just keeping an eye on that to see if it changes or not....ya never know with the weather!
 
Good morning ladies!!

I am also sleepy. I could not fall asleep last night...I was awake when Derek woke up for work. Boooo! It could be a long day and I feel like we have so much left to do around the house. Tonight I am taking the kids to VBS and tomorrow Ethan has climbing camp. He should have fun with that. I'll have to find something fun for me and Addie to do while he is there because she will be quite upset about not being able to go climbing herself. I am hoping to find a VBS for next week also. Then I need to start getting ready for my trip to WA!! Whoohoo!! Can't wait. i even got a car to drive while I am there. Which reminds me I need to find out what info I need so that I am insured.

Ugh...so much to do here at the house. Blech!! Alrighty, I'd better get.

Chris - I am hopeful you were herxing and don't have another infection to add to the list of things going on in your body. How exciting for your family that you got to celebrate Father's Day this year with the extra Father in your midst. I hope the gathering wasn't too stressful to get ready for. Get some rest today if you can. Hugs!!

Laurie - Another kitty huh? I want to get another dog. The one we have can be a lot of trouble when it comes to traveling and stuff. The cat is easy because she is so independent. We could leave her two weeks of food and a clean litter box and she would probably be fine. We've never tried to leave her that long by any means...just saying. Get your butt on the treadmill lady!! I know it makes you feel good so I hope you get your routine back in order.

Nana - I am so excited to see you in here. I hope you enjoy your week and how fun to have a basketball hoop. Is it in your driveway or in the road? I love watching kids play basketball. I hope S gets un-fussified after a nap. I have fussy kids this morning. Not fun.

Trudy - I feel ya on the no sleep front. I couldn't sleep last night and when I did I had these weird disturbing dreams. They really upset me and at one point I woke up because Addie was fussing in her sleep. She has a bunch of bug bites, so I gave her some claritin and then she was better.

So, I know it is not Tuesday but Addie's fussiness made me think of it...

If you or a kidlet is covered in bug bites and miserable because of it...take an antihistamine (not benedryl, wears off too quick and makes you sleepy). Something like Claritin, Zyrtec or Allegra. Bug bites cause an allergic reaction, which is why they itch so much and taking an antihistamine makes it not itchy. It is amazing how much it works and how many fewer scabs my kids have from itchy bug bites than me as a kid.
 
Oh - I also want to throw this out there. I used to CT for a girl who sells at SO, Faith True. Well, yesterday a tree fell on her house and demolished it so that it was deemed unlivable. If everyone could throw some prayers and good thoughts her way that would be awesome. I truly believe digi-scrapping is a community and not divided but what site you hang out at, so I just wanted to share that someone from our community has been hit with something crazy and needs some prayer. Thanks guys.

happy Monday night, everyone!! I hope everyone had a smashing Monday!! Mine was semi-productive! I got one mini quilt quilted, grocery shopped, did my elliptical, had a deep convo with Mr Gorgeous, made dinner (well, the side dishes, mr G grilled steak on his new grill...YUM!!!!), and realized that I can be successful in semi-production, too!! :)

Can't wait to hear all about your Tuesdays tomorrow!! :)
off to watch our HuluPlus version of the Voice!! :)
