Big day today. Both kids are off to the Lyme dr. Ugh- I don't even want to think about how much this is going to cost. Depending on how much blood work Cait will need, I am most likely going to be charged between $500-600. It is such a sin that Lyme docs can't take insurance at all. If they do, they are targets for investigation and could lose their med. license. Its a tragedy. :(

Anyway- ya do what ya gotta do.
The other part of the big day is the court date for the birth mom ad my nephew. Thank you all so much for your prayers and good thoughts. we don't expect any bad news, but we didn't expect it last time either.
get this-- last time my brother had a baby, we were at the Lyme dr. Scott, my mom and I were all back at her house and we were on our way home when we got the call that the birth mom changed er mind. It kind of feels like deja vu- dr, appt, meeting up with my mom, waiting for a phone call... but its all good!! This time its all good.

So there.

I hope that everyone has a great day today- its almost over by now, but it is/was Ona's birthday down under!

me me monday- i am going to pour myslef a BIG glass of wine when I get home tonight for sure!
 
Morning- I took today off- me me monday- scrap after I finish all the housework that piled up over the weekend. Some cleaning, some weeding and some scrapping- should be a great day- and yes I am headed to the treadmill -this is day 14- I counted the recumbent bike day- I biked, I walked and I danced that day!! My internet is down and I am using mifi- not bad, slow, and can't download- can order- I can't wait to get it fixed!
 
Oh Chris...hope that at least you get good results on the cost of the doctor. Can't wait to hear about that new nephew of yours! Saying a prayer again this morning!

And Laurie I am impressed with your steadfast approach to the treadmill. You go girl. (Bummer about the internet!)
 
Good morning. I am waiting for the oven to heat up so I can make biscuits and gravy for the kids. I start a diet tomorrow so I'm doing the typical loading up on the yummy stuff today. My nose it itching like crazy...I need to take my allergy meds before I just rip my nose right off. I'll be back later...

Chris - praying!!! I have faith everything will go wonderfully.
 
Happy Monday everyone...off to work for a few hours today, but it will go by quickly I'm sure.

Chris - Sending out more good vibes for you and your family today!! I am sure all will go smoothly this time, but yuck on the cost of the dr. visit, that really sucks!! I would be doing this :rant: alot!!

Hey gals- my net is fixed- sort of- problem is the router- we had another storm while we were away and it must have fried the router-so I now have the net directly in my laptop- sitting on the ever trusty treadmill, to get net. I have a router from last year when I thought the router went, but I don't know where it is, guess I will be looking for it today- it was on the counter in the craft room/studio, but who knows where I moved it to.
