Can you believe it is already the last day of January? That's crazy!
The month went really fast, but the winter itself seems to be drrraaaaag-ing.
It is also the last day of the month, so for any of us working on the posting challenge, that means that today is the day to get to our goals.
I should be able to hit mine as long as I focus :ranger:

It is also the last day to get your points for Month Scrap Challenges, so make sure that your tracking threads are complete.

Anyone have good plans today? Ideas for Me Me Monday?
I have to go to the supermarket, and later on, take Cait for X-rays for her scoliosis. I have to get some housework done too. I did next to nothing yesterday- I did end up spending most of the day in bed.

Hugs~~~

ummm- nope thought I had a few more days. My plans- work- drive home safely- we may get 3-5 inches tonight and have winter weather (not like yours chris) for tues through wed!

Clara- we live in central OH- they freak over 2-4 inches- cleveland and northern ohio- not so much! they drive in it! it is all location, location location

Have wonderful days!

Laurie- stay safe and warm and off the roads if you can. NJ is supposed to get hit with more snow and ice the next two days too. There have been tons of warnings about snow collapsing roofs because its so heavy and hardly melting.
I am glad you are going to dance!! Revel in the spotlight!!

nana- you have been busy- we miss you! Hope you get lots of stuff off of your to-do list today.

Trudy- i ***loved** your LO!!!! You really rocked it!

To all of my O-Fam ::grouphug

Nothing much here. Back to work..most of the cough is gone! And we are supposed to get freezing rain starting this a.m. and then the snow starts. Right now they are predicting 10-14 inches by Wed. noon. Ugh.... But March (and spring) come after Feb. so I'm hanging tough. (We'll see if I'm still saying that tomorrow.)

I missed you too Chris!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't have a lot of time this morning....

I have been in the back room....working on the tracking for Shaui's challenge!!! AAACCKKKK........a very successful challenge...means a lot of work for Nana!!! This is good!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My babies are wild and Mike is blowing up my phone!!! He is not a happy camper with working... ~sigh~ I just don't know what to do....I think he will be quitting before this year is over.....this means A LOT of changes for us!!! But we will figure it out!!! Sort of has my stomach in a knot right now!!! He thinks we should be financially set for life...but I keep telling him we are too young....we didn't make millions....he has just worked at that job so long....the only one he has ever had!!! Raising 5 kids ain't cheap either!!!

Okay...enough whining....I gotta get some things done!!!

LOVE YOU ALL!!!

Chris.......where did Jan go?? for that matter where did 2010 go??? CRAP!! NO SNOW FOR YOU...NO SNOW FOR YOU....I will try to will it away for you sweetie!!

Laurie...HAVE A GREAT DAY SWEETIE!! BE SAFE and I hope none of you get that snow!!!

LindaS....OOOOOOOOOOHH that is a lot of snow!! I don't know if I can will that much away!!!!!!! I hope you don't get it either!! Glad your cough is better!!! Can you make mine go away completely?? Almost 3 months now!!! not nearly as bad...but still hanging on!! BLAH!! You have a great day too sweetie!!!

Good morning ladies. So maybe it's not colic? I think she is just having a lot of gas issues. We put her on gas drops and they seem to be doing wonders. She is still fussy a lot when it comes to getting her to sleep. She has only been falling asleep if we are holding her upright. So strange..

Chris - I hope spending most of the day in bed yesterday meant a lot of good rest!!

Laurie - Be safe!

Good morning!!

I am not liking these early mornings...fortunately I have been able to go back to sleep for a little bit after Ethan gets on the bus but not for too long. It has been warming up a little bit here, or at least it did over the weekend and Derek thinks I'll have the car back before long. I sure hope so. I am trying to find preschool for Addie. She needs it bad. I was going to see about getting her started in kindergarten early but now I'm thinking no way. She is no way ready. She is so princessified right now. WE've gotta work on that but preschool is so expensive. I have to make some calls today to see about some less expensive options through the school district and stuff.

So, yesterday Addie got grounded for the first time. She decided to hide while we were at Old Navy. She had already hid in the car, at church and one other time at ON. I knew where she was at so I grabbed Ethan and we went where she couldn't see us in hopes that she would panic not know where we were at. Well, that didn't happen. She could care less. She just started wandering through the store without a care in the world. She was supposed to be going to the park to ride her bike with her dad when we got home but she had to stay home when they went out. She was so sad. Meg suggested putting a leash on her with a sign saying she had to have a leash because she hides. Ethan used to hide...but when I panicked him in a store he was cured. She is just so much stronger willed...I don't know where she gets it. I'm not like that at all. Heehee!

Anyway, I'd better get going. Got stuffs to do.

Chris - I can't believe the month is over either. Wow!! Craziness!! But that makes spring closer. Winter always drags on, but it is warming up some here so it will warm up there before you know it. I have one more challenge to do this month but I think I can do it no problem.

Laurie - so no snow in central Ohio, huh? I don't know why people would live in Cleveland personally. I mean I don't mind visiting there but it is straight frigid in the winter and downtown is just painful. A couple weeks before Christmas I guess they had the freak storm that even they didn't know how to handle that gridlocked downtown. It snowed just downtown and was a complete white out. Everyone tried to leave at the same time and it was a mess. It was just the way the winds came off the lake and it didn't come away from downtown at all and dumped like a foot in an hour or two. I hate the snow. Yuck!!

Linda - stay warm and safe in that yucky weather...and yeah try not to let that crappy weather take away your "spring is around the corner" outlook. It really is.

Nana - Everything will come together for you and Mike. You guys might have to make some adjustments but you will figure everything out. HUgs!! Don't stress. It won't help except to increase your medical bills with your ulcer care.

Kayleigh - Oh man! Gas sucks. Babies just don't know how to deal with it. I think I told you in another forum that heat on the belly can do wonders. I used one of those red water bottles. It was amazing (and later it got Addie sleeping through the night) but warm towels and stuff could help too. They just tense up their little bellies and then it hurts more and it is no good. Pacifiers help too. I think I ended up having to switch addie's bottle if I remember right to a bottle that didn't have air in it. But...just so you know...ALL mommies go through this with their babies. It is a right of passage or something. This part will pass and you will forget about it until next time or until someone else's baby is going through it and then you will be like, oh yeah...I remember that. Good luck!!

Morning "O" family.... Chilly morning here today, but shouldn't complain, not when I hear about all the lousy weather everyone else has been having!! Still fighting this  but I think its starting to get better. No cough like some of you, but sometimes I can hardly breathe and with this splint in my mouth it feels even worse. I can't believe how fast January has flown by, Groundhog day is my hubby's birthday and he finally told me that he wants a Impact Wrench for his gift, so I guess I work at the right place to get him one of those, I get a discount too so that's even better!!

Chris - Thanks so much for the nice comments on my layout, I really loved doing that one and will have to try to do more like it! Hope your daughter's x-ray goes well and that you hit your posting goals today. Stay warm and have a great day!

Laurie - Ooooooo more :smow: please be careful driving in that white stuff!
Hope your day is great! I hope you get to spend some time scrapping today!

LindaS - So glad to hear that your cough is getting better! Careful on that Ice!! There is nothing worse than freezing rain and then snow on top of that, I hope you don't get what they are predicting!! Thank you too for your love on my layout!

Nana Linda - My busy, busy sister!!! I wish I could help you out!! I am sorry that your hubby is so unhappy with his job, perhaps he could retire and find something else just part-time to supplement his pension?? He must have a good pension with his company? I am sure you two will figure it out, but oh the stress!! Nana you don't need the stress!! Gentle  for you!!

Kayleigh - So happy that it's not colic, that can be so hard on baby and mommy! You will figure out how to best deal with all the trails of being a great mommy!!

Clara - I wish I could tell you how best to deal with a hiding child, but mine did not do that to me, except once my son used to pretend to be superman and he ran away from me in a big dept. store. The cashier announced that there was a lost little boy who wouldn't tell them his name, except that he was known as Superman and would Lois Lane please come and get him?? I didn't know weather to kill him or smother him with kisses. I told that story at his wedding and paid him back for the embarrasement LOL!!

Hope everyone has a great Monday!! I have to work this afternoon, but will be here later on to visit!

Trudy.....DON'T YOU LOVE IT WHEN THEY WANT SOMETHING YOU CAN HANDLE??? I am sorry you are still under the weather!!! for you sweetie!!! Yes...he does have a decent retirment...as compared to what other companies offer....but once upon time when we thought it was a good retirement...cost of living went and SHOT OUT OF REASON...so now it's just not enough....and as for another job...well you have to know Mike...he thinks if he has to work....he is worth what he makes now...not what another job would pay....not to mention...JOBS ARE SCARCE!!! Thanks for your support!! It will work out some way!!

Clarabear.....you tell MISS ADDIE that Nana said she needs to stop that hiding from Mom!!!! Probably could have seen that coming though, when she ran away at the beach!! ONE OF THE BIGGEST HEART ATTACKS I EVER HAD!!! OH GIVE HER HUGS FOR ME NOW!!!!!!!! I really think they all go through that at some point, but the OUT OF SIGHT thing usally works for them. I guess next time you go to the store...remind her of what she lost the last time and tell her what she will lose if she does it again. STICK TO IT!!! If I never learned anything about discipline of your children....CONSISTENCY and SAY WHAT YOU MEAN AND MEAN WHAT YOU SAY!!!!!!! I am old school!!!! If I say don't and you do....then you are in trouble!! FIRST TIME!!!! MEAN MEAN NANA!!!!!!!!!!!!! Check the shcool system.....Virginia now has Preschool at the public shools and it's so much better than a regular preshcool where they mostly play....they really are more like Kindergarten...just preparing them...they get to ride the shcool bus and everything....but I understand you have to sign up early because there are only so many spots.

I FINALLY have an appointment for Ethan for an ADD assessment. Whoohoo!!! About freaking time. So now I have to check my email, print off the paperwork, wait for Derek to get home, drive it to the office so he can be seen tomorrow. Then tonight I am doing some Vanderbilt testing on him to give to the DR in case he wants it. Oh...Thank God!! I have been waiting too freaking long for this to get done. Okay, off of here. I might not get done what I want to, but it will be alright if this gets done. Yay!!!!

Wooo Clara!!! Hooray for the appointment!!!!

Well, the flu has how spread to my MIL... so it's the two of us at home... this flu is driving us nuts. Jeff's been hit the worst, he's got major sinus stuff going on and coughing.... with fevers, aches, & pain. I've got the hives (they're probably unrelated,) fevers, aches, pains, and small amount of sinus issues. My MIL just has the fevers so far... that's how it's started, you'll get a fever, tylenol will do nothing, then it goes and comes at will.

So, we've probably got big things in the working for me and Jeff... we wont know what's going to happen for another two weeks or so, but it could mean moving and getting out of our debt quicker. We've got plenty of time to pray for wisdom to make the right decision, but right now I'm pretty comfortable with the decision we're learning towards. I have an amazing quote from a book I just finished reading... I'll have to make a LO for Liz & Peppermint's challenge with it... but it basically sums up what's going on in our lives :) I'm pretty excited.

My laptop battery is about to die, and I'm too cozy to get up and find the charger. I'll be back this evening w personals.

Ohhh Meg...this sounds interesting, can't wait to find out whats happening!!

Clara - Yay for the appt. its about time!! Hope it goes well!

Nana- I hope things work out for you and your MG!! I am sure you will know what to do when the time comes.
