lOve the O!
Happy Presidents Day- if you live in the US- almost like a hallmark holiday- not really sure anymore what it celebrates other than a chance for Abe and George likenesses on sale ads- that said- I will do my best Sally cheer- hurray for monday! Hurray for Isabelle being off her vent and cooling cap. Hurray for rain- ummm so I don't have to feel bad about being inside during work today! Have great days ladies!

Woo Sally!!! So excited isabella is doing so well!!!!

Thanks for starting the thread Laurie!!! I hope the rain gives you a chance to go outside :)

I'm exhausted. Jeff woke up at 4am bc he slept all day yesterday. So of course I'm not completely awake. I just hope I'm not a b-zilla today from two weeks with hardly any sleep. We're def going up to Yosemite, going for the firefall but that doesn't happen until sundown... So we're going ice skating!!! Excited bc in all the winters we go up there, we've never done the ice skating.
Riley has to stay home, but we'll let her go to the snow next weekend, it's too hard to follow the national park dog rules during the winter with snow.

Pray for my dad - he was in a wreck last week - black ice - said he was fine last night but he was texting me at 330am bc he was sore. The butthead. So he's going to the Dr today.

Ok off to try to catch more Z's. I might upload pics while we're there today so watch my facebook or flickr. My facebook is facebook.com/heymego if we're not friends yet! Lol Yosemite has 3G so I'll be connected.

I am here!!! Didja all miss me??????????????????? I missed you guys :D happy monday to all of you. I had a very nice weekend. Very quiet. Well, sort of. Mom likes to talk a lot and Scott was just being so funny, but I didn't have to listen to bickering siblings, dogs whining, the phone ringing... and that was very nice! I basically sat in front of the fire, with a glass of wine or some coffee depending on the time of day. I scrapped 3 pages, read almost an entire book. We played Apples to apples twice. My poor dad got his butt kicked the first time, and challenged us to a second game, and got his butt kicked again. ;) It was a really good weekend to "reset" myself. My stress levels were hitting way off the charts and I feel so much better today. Its snowing and look-- i am not even b****-ing about it LOLOL!!!! laurie- I haven't caught up on old Oooo's but my thoughts are with Isabelle. Is she a baby? enjoy your day off. Meg- have a great time in Yosemite. be careful ice skating. What is a firefall? Hope that your dad is ok. Be back for personals after I wade through the last few days of posts. xoxo

I can't post individual comments right now, everything will end up in one big block. This has happened before, but I can't remember how I fixed it. I am going to reboot and see what happens.

i think this might be a Firefox issue.....
So I am using IE right now. I am going to post this really quick to see what happens to my formating.

Making a new paragraph first :)

Morning everyone... Laurie, so nice of you to open the thread this Monday Morning!! Hope your work day goes by without any problems!

I am off to the Dental Specialist one more time today, hopefully this is my last visit, but I think I said that the last time?? Anyway we are planning to meet up with my hubby's sister and husband, they just got back from Jamaica so should have some awesome photos to share with us!

Meg - Sounds like your trip to Yosemite will be fab!! I haven't tried ice skating for many years, but used to do a lot of it, was actually in couples figure skating for years...Awww the good old days LOL . I have to tell you thanks again for the Soup recipe (Meg's cream of chicken and rice) I have made it twice and really love it!! Have fun on your getaway!!

Chris - So happy to have you back here with us! Glad that your stress levels have dropped and you are not ****itching about the weather :pound: Sounds like you are having computer issues, yuk!! I am stopping into a few places to check out prices on the IMAC, finally have MG convinced that it is the one for me Horray!!! For now we are just looking so you never know, I still might change my mind, but I doubt it. Thanks again to you too Chris for your wonderful soup recipes, they have gotten me through this rough patch with my Jaw!

Sally - So happy that Isabella is doing much better! The power of prayer is really a wonderous thing!!

Hi Nana Linda...wherever you are

Have a great Monday everyone!

Hi again! I am sort of here. i tried to post something before and then I lost it. One nice thing about PA is no internet bs! hahahaha! I wrote that i saw that Isabelle is a baby of Sally's. I might not be a good "pray-er" but I am sending tons of good thoughts her way. The weather here on Friday was so nice! We hit 61*!!!! Not as nice as Nana- but way nicer than today. We were supposed to get 2-3 inches. It is closer to 9-10 inches. So happy that this wasn't a school day, yannow? trudy- yeee-haw! Going for the imac!! yay for YMG! Hope everything went well at the dentist. Nana- you were sick?? Hope you are all better. I know I saw Linda S smiling face over in the weekend ooos too. ugh- doggy is barking at me,,, gotta go (before she does!)

Hey ladies!

So today Derek has the day off and is off on a motorcycle ride with Dave. It is a nice day so they should have a good time. I sent them with my camera so they better get some good pics. NC is pretty as soon as you get away from Fayette-crap!! I had a great weekend full of greatness. I didn't do a lot but spent a lot of time at church and got some things into perspective that I needed and Derek came which is always such a blessing since it never happens and he ended up coming because Ethan really wanted him to. And the Pastor said some great things about how religion and Christianity were different which is a big issue for him since he was raised in catholic schools. Then I'm not sure if I shared this or not this weekend but on Friday I realized that one of the missionaries who was speaking (that is why all the church this weekend it was a big missions celebration thing) was this guy who spoke at my home church in Lacey, Washington. So on Saturday I went and talked to him and told him who I was and it was just really cool to have the world shrink up because of something besides the Army. It was just really cool.

I also spent a lot of time with my family this weekend. Now I'm sitting here waiting for Ethan to get home because he had to make up a snow day...which sucks because he wasn't even in school when the snow happened and we didn't take a snow day. lameness. At least they get out early. I want to go do something when he gets home...I just don't know what. Maybe we'll just drive around until we find something to do. We'll see. This town sucks. There is just really nothing to do here. There is if you drive at least 30 minutes out of it...but that's a pain. Anyway, I'm gonna go...after a few personals.

Laurie - Presidents Day is very important!! It celebrates...um...uh...a day off to celebrate the presidents?? LOL!! I'm with you, it celebrates very little. But the 4 day weekend with hubby is awesome so I'll take our silly day off. I will take the days off for some of these days but don't understand the importance of the day off...like Columbus Day?? Yay he figured out the world was round but a day off for that? How about we take off a day for Gravity...Newton Day. Now there is no real debate about that one and gravity is coolish...besides the fact that it is used to measure my booty. I think I am going to celebrate Newton Day from now on instead of Columbus Day. Much cooler find. And geesh, Columbus found freaking Cuba, not even America. I wonder if the Cubans celebrate Columbus Day. Hmmmm....sorry you got the brunt of Monday afternoon randoms from me today. Hugs!!

Meg - I like that you guys are going someplace cold today. I think cold will mean less sicky-ness for you. Have a blast ice skating. I can't wait to see this Firefall and what it is all about. You have me convinced we need to add Yosemite to my list of places to go, especially one Ethan gets to be the youngest rockstar rockclimber on earth. We are so there!!

Chris - I am sooooooooooooooooooooooo glad that you went to your parents and that Scott ended up coming too. I love destressed Chris. She makes me happy. Stressed Chris makes me sad. I was starting to wonder if your head was going to pop off. I'm glad it is back to being securely on your shoulders. When my soul sister is happy...I am happy. :D

Trudy - I hope all is well and that you hear awesome things with the dentist. Have fun with your SIL. I love Jamaica. I hope they have some fun stories. I want to go back there but stay for a week.

Okay, gonna go. Gotta make some fish sticks for my chicklet. Hugs!!

Well looks like I didn't make zuzhana's CT either :pout: Oh well will just have to keep trying I guess.
