Cold day here today- not liking this snow at all.
Did everyone have a nice weekend? Why are they going too fast?

My old friend came over yesterday and we had such a great time, Everyone got along, loved his wife, had fun playing Apples to Apples, kids were good.

Another busy day here- my mom is having her very first mammo today. Go mom! My SIL took her and I waiting to hear if they want to meet up for b-fast. Then it is a busy work at home day for me. Then this afternoon, Cait and I have to go to get her X-rays done. At her last ped. appt, the dr found that she has a slight case of scoliosis. She had it last year too, but now he wants to get baseline films done so we can keep track of it. Kinda freaks me out- I have scoliosis myself. When I was her age I had a pretty severe curve and was in a brace for several years. I know hers is not that bad, but I still worry.

The ped also noticed a heart murmur that is new, so I have to make an appt with a ped. cardiologist- good thing I have a good one already for Scott. Have to call today to get her in for an appt with him.

Good thing that my family does not have a fear of drs! LOLOL!!!

Have to run and get Cait ready for school, I'll be back in a few for personals!

YAY YAY IT"S MONDAY AND MY LITTLE SAVANNAH IS BACK!! I MISSED HER!!!! She is so cute, happy, round and sweet!!!! and PINK!! hehehe!!

Not much here...just housework and keeping babies!! I have to make my Christmas list....I just am NOT into the gift thing this year!! We have STRESSED to our kids...NO GIFTS FOR US...they are all pretty tight this year, for one reason or another...so we don't want them stressing!! We are tight ourselves...so we understand.

Okay...guess I will hop off of here and get to work!!

Yay yay it's MY BIRTHDAY! I'm 41. Holy cow! Thank God I made it this far, and I hope I'm only half way there.

YAY for Savannah coming back! I'm glad she's feeling better!

YAY for Chris' mom and her mammo! And having fun with friends, that is awesome!
I found an old friend of mine over the weekend on FB as well. Isn't that a blast?

NOthing planned for today. This weekend I wrote a paper about student resistance to the Vietnam War. It started out being kind of boring, as all of this information has been gone over and gone over in movies and on tv for my whole life, you know? But then it ended up being depressing. *sigh* Military wives should not read too much about war when their husbands are fighting one, knowwaddImean? But I got it done, and turned it in. On to the next thing!

Vince called me yesterday, but it's been a long time since the finance people have been to their unit, and he's broke. His phone card ran out in the middle of me running on about something and we got cut off. :-( But at least I got to hear his voice, and that's always good.

Hey, Harris Teeter is having a sale, buy 1 get 2 free on shrimp, chicken breasts and beef roast. The closest one is 8 miles away. Do you think it's worth it to go all the way out there? I think I might go after I drop the girls off.

Well, the coffee sounds like it's done, so I'm gonna have a li'l looksee. Talk to you pretty ladies latter!

Linda S- I am so with you on how you feel about your parents. My kids are soooo blessed by having 4 g-parents that adore them and are involved. I hope I will be the same way when the time comes (but not for at least 15 more years LOL)
Oh no- what was Shaun thinking? Hope that the no TV and talk helps. Wish I had advice, but nope, nothing... :(

Sally- good for you girl! 3 gigs! That is just awesome!! My mom loves Nina Simone. And I think I heard you singing- cuz I am not grinchy today!

Linda W- you and Sally made a great duet :D
Caitlyn does a really great job in the school helping the younger kids. She is on the school's "Peace Corp" which is a few 6th graders meet once a week to learn how to teach a little lesson and then the next day they go into the 1st grade classes and teach it to them. Sometimes it is a game or a craft- and she loves it. And one of her kids has a crush on her. How adorable is that? ;)
Congrats on getting your tree up! We decorated a little bit yesterday, but no tree yet.

Merkee- (((((((((((hugs)))))))))))) to you and your day- lots of good thoughts for him. Any updates? Hope that each day makes him stronger and healthier.

Good morning! So today is going to be an interesting monday to say the least. I woke up to Addie crying because she didn't want to wake up but that is normal. My sis stayed the night so i thought when she was standing in the hallway and saying something it was something along the lines of what is all this noise about...in a joking way, but she kept repeating herself. So finally I got what she was saying, Ethan was puking. Ahhhhh!! Poor kid. Addie was sick for a minute on Saturday but then was fine. He just got the flu shot...well the swine shot. They are out of regular flu shots. This stinks for him. Well, he is emerging from the bathroom. I'll be back later.

LindaW!!! Sooo glad you have your baby back today!! I got to hold my baby Jack (my bff's baby!) Saturday morning and I got that little baby hankering...so I put him in his car seat and got over it!! ahahahahh!! :) He is coming over tomorrow so I can take 3.5 mo pics of him!! :)yay! you enjoy your pink cutie pie!!! :)

Hi everyone, thanks for the prayers and well wishes for my dad. I was able to bring him home from the hospital today and he is doing better.

He's still a little loopy, but we hope that is from the medication. We won't know for sure for a bit.
