Happy Monday!
Anyone else with they had another day to sleep in? I slept really good for the first time in a long time. So good that after my alarm went off, I fell back asleep and back into my dream. When the snooze went off, I was seriously disoriented.

Did everyone have a fabulous weekend? Mine went too fast! But I did good at the Fair. I sold about $100 worth of stuff, and for my town, that is really good. I packaged a lot of stuff "gift giving ready" and priced things way lower than I normally would have.

Yesterday we decorated our tree. Gary and Scott actually did put it up on Saturday! I was so surprised!

Me Me Monday- I need scrap time!

I am going to try and catch up with everyone from the weekend... but if I miss you, I am sorry. You were very chatty!!

Nana Linda I should send you some of my "zippy pills" aka Provigil. They keep my moving and some days I wouldn't be able to get anything done w/o them. The bad side of them is that I feel like I can do more than I should and I pay for it later.
That must have been so hard to not go crazy w/ Connor the other day. Hope that he is better for you this week.

Petra- oh man, I hope that the weather cleared up for you and you are having a very safe trip. Be careful!!
Eep- snow pics!! Your fur-baby is way to cute!!

morning Chris- I went to bed late, got up late, we have snow on the ground- love it- except for the go to work part of today- I'ld rather stay home and watch it snow. Oh well

Good morning ladies! Yes, Miss Chris, I surely do feel that I could have another day of rest!

Since Sydney was sick, we didn't even leave the house yesterday. Skipped church and everything. I think that she's going to stay home with Daddy today. She was sick for the last time around noon...but didn't have much energy and I think one more day will give her some strength back.

Did bunches of scrapping yesterday. And that's about it. Should have done some decorating...to tell you the truth, I'm really not in the mood. But, I do need to do something! Yikes!

Ok...be back later this evening. If Sydney stays home from school, there is no gymnastics practice for her tonight...so get some more time in my evening.
 
ooo Laurie, you snuck in while I was posting! No snow here. YAY!!! And I loved your dip...saw it on fb! Great job!
 
Hi ladies, hope you all had a good weekend. Ours was good and busy. Went to a few stores to get some ideas for Christmas and spent entirely too much $$ at Target. It happens each and every visit there.

Linda - thanks for the recipe! Hope Syd is feeling better today! Poor little one.

Laurie - yes, definitely work ... sigh.

Good morning ladies, how are you all doing? Had a wonderful weekend. Now I get to spend the day cleaning. Well overdue for that. Only have one more thing to memorize for my brain practical today! Found out one of the ladies in our choir is a PT and we chatted for quite a bit. She is excited that I am trying for PTA and wants to help me out any way she can! How cool is that?

Yesterday was our Christmas parade. All three of my children were on different floats. My husband volunteered our trailer and his truck for our church's float. I was the official picture taker! Loved it! Then at the end Santa set up in his little cottage and gave real presents out to any girl and boy who wanted one. This man is so wonderful! He came to our church Christmas party last year. He looks just like santa too! It's interesting because our last house in SC we had a man who looked just like santa who actually played him and he worked at our local Home Depot. The kids loved to go there just to talk to him. They thought he was really santa. You know times are so hard now even santa needs a second job to pay for all those toys!

Yesterday I took my dd to the Nutcracker performed by my college! She was in heaven. At the end she got autographs and pictures with her favorite characters. My A&P teacher's son was the Nutcracker prince! How cool is that?! So those pictures will be of course scrapped and put into my grandparents' album. Will upload them today if I get the chance.

I am off to scrap a page or 2 and then get to work. Hope everyone else had a fabulous weekend. I will get to personals later!

I am turning into a scrooge again- C-mas ends up being so stressful. :(

Clara- my sis :) I am glad you do your shopping online LOL Got your order and will work on it asap. That is a great deal onthe restaurant coupons. Gary loves woot.com That is where he got me my replacement crock pot after the cat pooped in my old one.

Trudy- I am totally with you on not doing the big C-mas decorating. That is how we ended up with the IL's tree. They don't have anyone over any more. My BIL/SIL do C-mas Eve and we do C-mas day. They had this huge fake tree and when our fake tree broke and we didn't have the $$ for a new one, they said for us to borrow theirs. 5 years ago LOL
You are going to have so much fun in Disney! We wish we could go back, but now that I am out of a job....its going to be longer than we hoped.

Meg- sorry to hear that the MIL issue is not getting any better. Deep breaths and stay away from sharp objects :D
 
Hi sweeties!! Just saying a quick hi before heading back on the road and see how far I can get this time. I sure hope once we finally make it to Sacramento they will give us a load to Southern California cause I am done with this snow crap!

i had a productive weekend with my scrapping. :) i meant to get up at 6 to get ready for work but woke myself up at 5am and decided to do some browsing and scrapping.

chris - i'm always needing some scrap time...:D

laurie - your place must be beautiful with the snow. my daughters kept asking me when we're going to get some. i tell them not in california!

katrina - my girls would have loved the parade. *sigh*

Hey ladies! So everything is better w my MIL. We talked briefly and she totally understood. The breaking point was her taking over our fish tank project, it ended up just being her and Jeff making decisions and I was completely side lined.
I finally got my sushi last night, after I was already asleep!! So I couldn't eat it all. Now I'm not feeling too good. Jeff wants to make sushi night a weekly thing bc it so cheap for him with his work discount, maybe for the nights where we stay up super late to watch his Alaska gold show on discovery.
Today I'm going to finish all of my kits in progress and send them to the QC team. Have to do that today!!!!
 
MORNING EVERYONE!!! GUESS WHAT???? IT"S MONDAY!!!! yipeeeeeeeee!!!!

(sorry for yelling!! couldn't help myself!! LOL!!)

So, I've already put Mr Gorgeous on a plane to Vienna this morning. He's actually on his way to Miami, then Frankfurt, then Vienna!! LOL!!! He'll get there tomorrow morning...Geesh!!! can you imagine???

I have big plans this week of doing very little!! I know you can't believe it, but I have some custom orders to finish and a Christmas Quilt I want to do for me...we'll see about the Christmas Quilt...I really want to finish my mom's quilt top first. And I've got to get my mini quilts in my Etsy store. It's been a real learning curve for me to learn to take good enough pictures. I wanna play in the big Etsy league, so great photos are a must!! :)

So I'm off to finish three more santa blankets for Krista so they can actually get to Canada before Santa does!!! :)

Afternoon everyone... I am off to work and have spent all morning finishing off the calendars that my In Laws wanted done, boy I tell ya next year they can do their own Christmas shopping, this was way too much work and too close to Christmas!! grrr. Now I still have my daughter's and my sisters to do, but they should go quickly, because at least I have all the photos that I want to use and will just use the same templates for them. Well off to work until 6:15 and then home to have supper, pot roast in the crock pot already so should be all done for hubby to dish up when I get home. Hope to do personals sometime tonight if I get time. I miss just doing layouts of my own to post here at Oscraps :mmph: Have a great Monday everyone:wave:
 
My back is killing me! I just stood over the stove WAY TO LONG but it's totally worth it!!! I'm layering fudge with the filling in See's Butterscotch Squares... I can't wait until it's cool!!!!!!!!!!

Thank you for the kind comments on my dance pics- I need to make a layout with them. So tired- all day work- last pt of the day was a new eval that took nearly 2 hours- yikes and I stayed up way to late last night- early to bed tonight and then lots of catch up to do tomorrow!
 
I have the best husband !!! He drew me a bath with bubbles and candles and a glass of white wine the jacuzzi jets are on and I am in heaven !! Do you think maybe he wants to get lucky?? LOL

How is it that I helped you get an iPad? I thought I was helping you go to a quilting show? That's not what I signed on for. lol
 
Hey ladies!! I miss everyone sooooooooo much. I feel like I never chat with you guys hardly ever and when I do I am in and out saying how much I miss you guys. Well, tomorrow I am going to get up in the morning. I am going to set my alarm and schedule some time with my girls. That is just how it is going to be. I'll be here by 10:00 come hell or high water!! How about that? Love you all!! By the way...did I tell you about my butt? If I didn't it is on FB. It still hurts. I fell down the stairs Saturday night after a little bit of wine, I just missed a stepp and slid all the way down way too fast on my butt. I bruised it good, but bruised it so bad that you can't see the bruise but I feel the bruise every time I move on my left side. Every time I get dressed I make Ethan come in and look and he gets mad saying "Mooooo-ooom!! I don't want to look at your butt!!" But it is too far around for me to see it. I'm sure by the time it surfaces it will be nice and green. Ugh!! These winter allergies are killin me. Okay...off to bed. I thought about starting a new thread but then I'd have wanted to write more...so, 10AM tomorrow I'll be here. Hugs!!
