Good morning my O-Fam! I hope that most of you are enjoying some time off. I am working from home today- hope to do most of it in my pj's.
We were supposed to go to IL's yesterday, but Gary and I were both not feeling up to it. Holidays and running and running wiped us out. Tomorrow was supposed to be a trip to NYC but they are predicting wind chills of below zero- and the last place I want to be is hiking around the wind tunnels of the city. Not me!

A very busy week off is starting to slow down a bit, but that is good! I need that, right?
Not to mention I am so far behind in challenges here and psoting......I miss you all too much.

Good morning! It's quiet at my house for a few minutes. Both kids are sleeping late. It's a nice change for just a bit.

I have today off from work then I work Tuesday and Wednesday and am off for the remainder of the week. Should be able to handle that. Need to get some organizing done in preparation for the new year. Just "never seems to be enough time to do the things you want to do". Name that tune!

Ok...going to go have a few minutes of conversation with my husband without the children. Be back later.

I've been away from my computer too long!!!

This morning I'm catching up on work emails and my RSS feeds. Then if I get a call saying my cousins are feeling better I'll be heading out to pick them up for the week and taking them with me to the airport in Indianapolis to pick up my sister, (she flew out for the weekend for a football game with friends). I'm hoping the roads aren't too bad.. driving into town was slow with the ice on the roads.

The days around Christmas were busy & this weekend I was just lazy, lol, but I will be back in the full swing of things this week even if I am babysitting

I'm not feeling good today!! can you believe? me? on a monday?? got this darned cold that everyone has been passing around this holiday season. So i gotta get me some tea and garlic, and i'll be okay! But for today, i'm probably gonna be in bed or in front of the tv in the comfy chair upstairs!!

mr gorgeous is working today (from home as usual) and plans to take the kids to target to exchange and buy! woohoooooo for them!!!

the new spotlight looks soooo fun!! I can't wait to wrap my head around that one (if I can get all of the snot out of it to think! heehee!!! sorry....tmi!!)

Elisa, i didn't even turn my laptop on once yesterday!!! it was kinda fun, but kinda weird at the same time!! hope your cousins are feeling better!! hugs to you!!

Good morning everyone. I feel so out of the loop these days and have been missing you guys horribly. I just haven't had the energy to do anything. I feel like I haven't checked in with my CTs in days, everything is falling apart and I have been sleeping 100 years like sleeping beauty. I can't tell what is holiday and what is sickness. Everything is upside down. But I am at work, so that is a good direction towards normal. Yesterday lots of things seemed to fall apart. Go figure. It started thenight before last. the neighbor kid stayed over and after telling him he needed to wait until morning when him and dh could work on it together and it wasn't after midnight he decided thatw asn't good enough and took it upon himself to try and set up his xBox live at our house. This didn't thrill me to begin with. Then I realized my internet on my laptop was out. Apparently all he did was unplug a telephone wire but somehow it completely screwed up our wireless router and then in the process of trying to fix that we now have zero internet at the house. Good times. Then to top that off our washing machine is clogged and we have a washing machine full of water and wet clothes just sitting waiting for something to be done with it. Poor DH has a day today. I'm scared to call him.

So between sickness, random irritants and whatever else I am just overwhelmed. The day after Christmas I slept until 4:30 in the afternoon. That just straight freaked me out. Some people said "Oh, you probably needed it." Maybe so, but who sleeps an entire day? The day after christmas when they should be playing with their kids. I am starting to fall into panic mode and starting to totally freak out.

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!!!

Okay...maybe that will make me feel better. LOL!! Who knows. I just know I feel off these days and am ready to feel back on. I did get a bamboo tablet though. Thatw as very cool. I meant to bring that to work with me today to play with. That will have to be tomorrow then. I can't wait. I've never played with a tablet. DH had no idea what to buy or what was what so hopefully he got me something cool. We'll see soon.

Now that I've got the holidays (and 800 other things) behind me, I'm getting back into the swing of what is known as my normal life, lol. Lucky for me though, I'm still off work and don't have to go back until the 4th so I'm enjoying sleeping in and spending my days in my pjs. Today I've been tackling the giant mound of laundry that has taken over the upstairs and I managed to get the downstairs straightened and cleaned. I think that's enough for one day don't you? I'm looking forward to some scrap time tonight!

Clara, don't be too hard on yourself. Being sick can really mess things up. I think I'm only now catching up from the first couple of weeks of November.

Sally, glad that Donnie's there to keep the kids occupied. That should give you some rest time huh?

We are doing our Hubei Girl reunion there next fall. (The Hubei girl reunion is for the families that traveled together to pick up Sydney and the other girls at the same time.) So I finally got here today!!!! DH is off all week and I did not have any kids today...so we have been running errands and before I logged in I wanted to scrap for a bit!!! WOO HOO!! Made two pages!!! One Christmas page and the other one for the spotlight!!

So Christmas day I hurt my neck somehow!! It's been giving me a fit and then all the festivities and work has really gotten me messed up!!! I may need to go the Dr or Chiropractor before it's over...it's been bad today!!!

As for Christmas..it was very nice, hectic, messy and I am happy that it is behind us now!!!

I feel like I have been away from hOme!! not being coming here everyday!!! I guess I have!!!!!!! tomorrow things should be more normal here...I only have Ayden this week...Sharon took the week off...but I am sure my little man will make his way over a night or two!! Especially since PawPaw is off from work!!!

Chris...Pj's sound good!!! I am sorry you and Gary were so wiped out and couldn't make it yesterday!! I was wiped out too...but ours was here at our house...could not back out!! I was so TIRED last night!!!! oohh yes TOO cold to go to NYC!!! when I come to see you I am coming in the spring or fall!!!

LindaS....Yay for adult conversation!!! You are so my hero these days with all your working out!!! hope you got your organzing done!!! I can't seem to finish mine!! Been working on it all year!!!

I'm still hanging out here today. I've gotten enough commenting in today that I still may hit that ridiculous 17,000 comments! And, the really great news is that I've done quite a bit of organizing and I've stayed in my pj's all day!!! Since I'm working tomorrow, I'll need to get dressed. ;-)

Well I ended up only picking up one, (so this is my first time only getting 1 of them EVER!). Savanna was just too sick today, but if she feels better tomorrow she'll get to come up here. The plan is for them to spend this week with me and celebrate the New Year with me like they've done the last 2 years.

The country roads are more slick, but once I was on the busier stretches they were mostly cleared. No real scares today. Last week we were rear-ended, so I didn't need that again.

As for Indy. I'm only a little over an hour away, (depends on which side of Indy I'm going). It is a pretty straight shot for me to get there and is a simple drive. So keep me in mind if you are heading that way! I'd love to do a photo shoot for you guys!

Well now it is Wii playing time since we just got home. And tomorrow I think I'll get to play a bit on the computer
