Happy Weekend! Gorgeous spring day here today.
Wish I could have slept in a bit, but my "puppy" (yeah, she is 15 and still my puppy) had me up at 5 am.
Its like having a baby- except she pees on the rug instead of in a diaper....

I hear you on animal wake up calls - the cat came in early last night- must have been something going on outside, made the dog bark, anyways 6am and she wanted fed- argh- I had a headache anyways. sunny here too! I have dance and lawn chores and a dinner dance tonight- should be a wonderful day!

We had our "House Party" yesterday. I was sort of bummed b/c a bunch of people ended up canceling at the last minute. But the friends that did come had a really nice time. And my kids did too- which always makes me happy.

Today I have to finish cleaning up. and work. I was so lazy and unmotivated last week, that now I am really far behind.

Off to get some coffee. Want some?

I'll share that coffee with you- I got a lot accomplished yesterday - lawn mowed, dance practice, part of a flower bed weeded, a flower planted. Today I need to plant the inpatients that I have had for a month, and weed under the pine trees- well weed and spray the bigger weeds- we do have poison ivy under there. I thought it was going to be sunny, but appears the magic clouds have reappeared. The dance was fun - not beneficial as a fundraiser for the red cross- no one bid on the live auction above the value of the item. No one danced well twice other people did, except those of us from the studio- but we had a great time. DH bid on two things in the silent auction, thinking he wouldn't win, but he did- a stone necklace with matching earrings, and nice wooden picture frame with coupon off on framing.
Today I have to clean the kitchen of it's piles-insurance man is coming to meet with ds after lunch- it may take me that long to clear the horizontal surfaces- yikes!

Well, after one of the worst weeks I have had in quite a while, I feel like I am moving on now...YAY!! I swear most of the week I was just wanting to get out of my own body and let it do what it needed to, and let my mind just stay in bed!! Friday night I did some scrapping and my Mentor Merkee is teaching me some new things in Corel PSP...so that was fabulous!! I ~heart~ Merkee

I also ~heart~ Chris!! Thanks for Monday girl!!!

Yesterday we had another ballgame...being my grandson and all, of course I am going to say he is doing fabulous...but he truely is!! I believe the boy has a bit of talent for this game. He has fabulous form already!! We have another game today....I can't believe that 6 yos play two games every weekend, plus they practice twice a week...a lot of them seem to be bored with it, because it is so much, but Cameran LOVES it!! They have two Cameran's on their team, so they call our Cameran Z-MAN...his last name is Zimmerman...TOO CUTE!!!!!

Jesse is all piled in my lap right now...watching Sponge Bob...ALL kids seem to love Sponge Bob and don't out grow it either....anyway, he and Traci showed up here at 1:30 last night...she said the power went out at her house and he woke up in the dark and FREAKED OUT!! So they got in the car and drove here...Jaiden was at a friends house spending the night (hahaha...sleepovers and not even 2 yet..but Traci has a really good friend that has a little girl the same age and they love to play with each other). I am just sitting here looking at Jesse's toes....they are black...at first I just saw the big toe and thought he mashed it, but then saw the rest....I guess he used a sharpie markie to "paint" his toe nails...Oh this boy is constantly writing on himself with a sharpie marker...there is no where she can put them that he won't get them!!

We are 4 weeks away from out mini vaca to NC...I am too excited....we haven't been away in so long!!! But I am really counting down to August for the beach!!! Great part about that is I will get to see CLARA!!!!! YAY!!! What a great trip that will be!!!

Okay, did I tell you I got Carrie Underwood tickets for November?? Well, my MG has decided he does not want to go, so now EVERYONE is fighting over who gets to go with me!! Well, except for Sharon, she is going anyway with two of her friends...but it's funny because now they all JUST LOVE ME!! WOO HOO!!! I can milk this one for months since it's not until NOVEMBER!! But reality is, I am probably going to take my SIL (not the crazy one!!!!) I know she and I will have a fabulous time together!! We haven't been able to do anything in a long time!! But I am not ruling anyone out completely yet...because I accept BRIBES :evil2::evil2::evil2:

good morning! Yesterday was Piper's performance for Arabella's Journey... I'm soooo glad its all over... she finishes out the month for ballet and then we're all done until August... she's going to be in summer camp with me working so I think ballet would be too much... she'll be running, playing, and swimming all day and absolutely worn out when she gets home!

the last week has been so stressful with the rehearsals... plus I had what they consider a "dull" migraine for like 6 days... part of last week and part of this past week... glad that's all over too... today is just going to be a semi-relaxing day... gotta do some laundry and get us all ready to go back to work/school... other than that, I'm taking it easy...

hey guys!! real quick AGAIN!! Ugh! Lots of quickies these days, I know. The kids are waitig for me so I don't want to keep them waiting long since we have errands to run too. I want to tell you how things are these days. Good but busy!! Lots going on. Anyway, just wanted to stop by real quick.

Linda - I am totally stoked about Myrtle Beach too. It looks like we will be getting a hotel now and Derek will not be coming and will be getting signed in and all that stuff so it will be nice to not be around while he's doing all that and my friend Debby might get to come with me which will be awesome. I haven't seen her in way too long and it will be nice to have help with the kids. I want to get some reservations made soon though. I'll do that this week. I'll keep you posted.
 
Afternoon - surfaces were cleaned- some stash and dash to take care of this week - still going through the piles created by cleaning other areas and bringing the maybes to the kitchen- why do I do that??? Planted my flowers, trimmed the pine tree. I also have a weeping cherry tree (I think) that was growing up instead of weeping- dh was trimming it when I went in. I came out later and gone- I mean cut to the ground gone- what??? guess I will have to find something else to plant there - daphne carol mackie I think - soft bush very fragrant flowers- in looking for a photo I see that I shall have to go nursery hunting!
 
Well it sounds like you all have had lovely weekends ladies!! Its Monday morning downunder so my weekend is finished, kaput, done, dusted! *sigh* and its a 'raw' sort of day, cold, no sun, cloudy, just the sort of day to be home curled up in front of the fire with a good book, or laptop!! :biggrin: Can't stay, have a meeting to prepare for so best go and do that, have a great night girls!!! xx
