Daily Ooo's: March 26-27 Weekend Edition!

taking raianna to a skating party tonight....dh is going out meeting up with a buddy of his from the airforce for his birthday tonight (wish i could have gone but i already had this thing with raianna to do) so we got a sitter for elyse and helena...tomorrow i have no idea what we are doing......if the friggen weather would just warm up we could actually DO something like work on my garden!!!

kristy- It is freaking cold here too- 26* This has got to stop. I *need* to be in my gardens!
Have fun at the skating party! Will you skate too? I won't/can't. I think my bones would disintegrate if I ever fell LOL

I am so proud of my son- he is coming with me to the Lyme Panel. he is going to be able to share his experiences with Lyme from a teenagers perspective. Two of the other panelists are sick and may not be able to make it. (Such is the story with Lyme) The woman who is putting this together asked if Gary would come, but well-- he is too sick. So I woke Scott up early this morning and he said that he would come.
How awesome is it for a 14 yo to give up a Saturday so he can help teach the medical community and patients/family members about this disease?

kristy- ick! Snow! And you run to your mailbox barefoot in that? Yes, you are crazy :pound:

So happy that your lizards are happy too. What kind are they?

Meg- how long is BIL staying this time? Hope he behaves!!!

Hugs nana!!!!!! Give that baby some snuggles from me.

Laurie- did you end up walking or dancing? I know you did something!!

Trudy- how is your kitty today? Hope it isn't diabetes too. My brother's cat had that and it was brutal- I can't imagine having to inject a cat every day. They are so smart, they'd see you coming a mile away then hide in the teeniest far away space they could find. But-- I think cats are easier to take care of during an illness then MEN! LOL

Love to everyone!

Afternoon all - ended up dancing Chris

Today- we had our double lesson, and then went to PO and applied for our passports & pass cards- for border crossings- one step closer to saying yes to a December Cruise! Now thinking of driving to Texas versus flying. Decisions, decisions. I agree that it is too cold. We are working on the basement today, tomorrow afternoon, I get to visit my friend Anna. Prayers please for my pregnant co-worker- baby not due till fall, and problems are arising already. They lost a baby a year ago october so this is very hard for them.

Chris that's sooo awesome that he's going with you!!! I think he'll be a great addition to the panel, especially since at his age teens are more vulnerable than adults when things like this enter their lives.

Quick check in - I need to put away the treadmill and make some lunch before Jeff gets home. He had to go in for a meeting, already got very little sleep the day before thanks to his brother, and only got like 2 hours this morning. BIL is staying an extra day, gahhhhh. Trying to not turn homicidal, but reaching that point, he's pressing all of my buttons and being even more of an ass than usual.

I put together the treadmill last night after Jeff went to work - it was pretty easy! Would of been even easier if I hadn't misplaced a part. I did about ten minutes before bed, and fifteen minutes this morning - ugh, kept getting interrupted! I hope to really start c2-5k tomorrow.

hey girlies...
Here's what we did today...

we drive every year to a state park and take bluebonnet pics. This year i didn't call to see if they were out yet, since I kept seeing them all around us. Alas, the pickins were NIL!! there was this little sad patch and one even slimmer patch!! LOL!! but I dont' think I can convince the fam to take another whole day to go up there, so these are the best shots I got (except the one of Mr Gorgeous and me kissing, but I thought I'd spare you that today!! LOL!!! you'll see it in the gallery soon enough! bwahahahahah!!)

Tomorrow? easy peasy fun...After church (where Mr Gorgeous is actually preaching! eek! Our pastor is out of town this weekend!), either I'll be scrapping or quilting or laying around watching as many Bones episodes as I can on Netflix (my latest addiction while I'm creating!). I LOVE the weekend!!

Love you guys!!
(and I know you see sun in my pics...it was 86 at the park...*sweat!!*) Come on DOWN!!

Oh, and Laurie, you know you and your MG have a free place to stay before you go cruising, right??? we are only about an hour north of Galveston! yipeeeee!!

hugs!!

Oh Sally- I am so there 30 and wind chill of freeze your ears off here- we put stuff (junk we don't need anymore) down by the road and sold some off! Yeah for living on a main road. I am thinking of coming to TX in December- oh oh oh and I will be less than 2 hours from you - right before Christmas if we do go. Holding my breathe- could I meet an O in real life???>???

Ohhh Sally!! Gorgeous pics!!!!!!!! And I am so ready to just star walking down to see you. 28* here. I am incredibly ready for warmth!!!! The kids look great- so grown up! Enjoy your day today.
I love bones- she cracks me up- its just the perfect blend of drama, science and humor.

Meg- deep breaths-- must not kill BIL!!!
Good for you and the TM! Did you decide to do Couch to 5K and walk or are you going to run? Be careful, don't push your body.

Laurie- I hear ya on this weather- its brutal!!!! I hope that you get to meet Sally- she is even better IRL LOL
I love your new siggie too! When does ADSR start?

Kristy, no skating for you? LOL How was the party?

To everyone who comes in, xoxoxoxoxo!!!

Chris- it starts today and the first challenge is posted- I will scrap it later this week and of course post here. Thanks on the siggy- I used lots of Maya's kits for it, and need to add that into it!

hey ladies. we are on our way home from myrtle beach now. we had a blast despite the rainy weather most of the trip. last night there was a thunder storm while we were sleeping and our room was right next to an outside corridor that went from the roof down to the ground and the echo from one of the claps of thunder it woke me up and i was sure something crashed somewhere. this morning ethan sat on the deck watching dolphins right behind where the waves started. that was pretty cool.

it looks like i need to check out the adsr forums when i get home. yay! that will be fun.

i'm on my phone so personals are a pain...but, chris that is so cool of scott to go with you. i know he will have a lot to share. even awesomer you have lost a little of the mom ick...at least for now until it happens again i'm sure.

i'll come back later when i get home. hugs!

So I finished my last "Project Quilting" challenge last night, and waited until this afternoon to post it, because I wanted good natural light pics. And then as I'm getting online to post the pics, I realize I missed the deadline by an hour!! ohhh I was really really upset at myself for not checking that time again last night. So I emailed the girlie in charge and told her that i went ahead and posted anyway, but that I knew I was late *sob*...She emailed back and said that since I got it in before she did her blog post, she'd include it!! *WHEW!!!*

So you all have to go and vote for me this week, because I was seriously bummed that I wasn't going to be able to be voted for!! (bwahahahahah!!) I'm going to do the obnoxious posting all over again, so I get a bunch of votes. Sometimes you just have to be really outloud!! LOL!!

So now I feel a lot better than I did a few minutes ago...and I'm going to capture that joy and make a quilt for Japan Relief! I have the funnest (yep, i believe it's a word!!) idea using organic fabrics again. LOVE love love it!! :)

hope ya'll's Sunday is as fab as mine is...now!! LOL!!
hugs!

Hi ladies..... back from our SHORT SHORT weekend!!! We ended up coming home late last night (got home at 2 am this morning) because of the weather....WE HAVE ICE TODAY!!!! WHAT????? YES!!!! AACCKKKK!!!

Got to do a lot of cuddle time with the baby!! What a little doll!! he never cries......she can barely get him to wake up long enough to eat!!! But it was awesome to spend some time there.

Got a few photos on FB if you want to see him :)

Better run...need to get some things put away and a cleaned up...get ready for the day tomorrow!!

Will try to get back for personals in a bit.

Hi Ladies... wow missing in action here this weekend. I have been so busy with spring cleaning and organizing that I just have not had much computer time at all. Hubby always has something else that he needs help with with grrrrr!! I think that he does it on purpose so I don't spend too much time here. LOL Also got Netflix set up this weekend so we have been enjoying that too. For some reason I just can't get Netflix on my Samsung Blu Ray Player yet, they say it should be able to connect??? Oh well we used the Wii instead, but hubby wants that great sound so he is hooking it up through the Bose system too. Oh brother what a hassle!! Our Netflix here in Canada is not as good as the one you guys have in the States, but it is slowly getting there. We will see if we still like it after the free one month trial. Well off to Skype with Heather in Ontario in a bit so personals might have to wait until later. Hope you have a wonderful Sunday !!

My day started off really grumpy, bad, discouraging, lots of negativity... so I kept deleting whatever I started to write in here!

I'm feeling a bit better, I cleaned the office some but the lighting is terrible I can't finish... I need to have Jeff buy a floor lamp or something so I can work in here. I'm hiding in the office because the one thing I wanted today was alone time, and my FIL seems to think him constantly trying to bug me about what I was watching on TV equals alone time. Soooo I'm hiding in here until Jeff wakes up in 30 minutes to an hour or so.

BIL is gone, finally. Something happened while he was here that Jeff and I can't really prove was him, but it was something that made me tell Jeff his brother is never welcome to stay in our house (when we get it) alone... if he's allowed to ever use us to crash ugh :-\

Stupidity aside, I knew I needed to do or find something to lift my spirits today. I can tell this week is going to be pretty awful, so I want to try and make today a bit better. Soooo I think I've found what I'm getting Jeff for his birthday... I just need 1) approval from him to spend a wad of cash now without him being able to ask any questions 2) make sure it isn't too late 3) keep the secret from him!!!! I'm excited because I know it's something that's going to really make his year, if not the decade LOL

Now, just to find something to make my whole week a whole lot better!!!
