lOve the O!
well will it be in like a lamb out like a lion. I don't know. I woke up between 2 & 3am, and got up at 4:30. I will leave for work at 7 to give myself plenty of time to travel new routes if needed due to flooded road closings. I know it took my son an extra 30 min to get here last night. He picked up his car and helped me move some (not all) of the heavy stuff off the wet rugs down in the basement. He will be on call to come and let people in today- if they get to my name on the list. I will haul a little more before I go to work, and most likely more tonight. I can't wait for the rugs to go. They lay on top of the popcorn type foam padding- can't imagine how much water that has soaked up.

I am guessing this is the impetus I needed to go through my clutter- unfortunately, I have been just moving it out of danger of wetness, but will have to begin the sorting process this weekend. No formal exercise for me yesterday, or today, but my calves are killing me from multiple trips up and down the stairs moving stuff, and my arms are bruised from "man handling" furniture to get the wide side exposed and placed on bricks off the floor.

Have a marvelous day everyone- and to take from Michael's great post for Vicki's new kit "Your success and happiness lies in you. Resolve to keep happy, and your joy and you shall form an invincible host against difficulties" Helen Keller

Oh laurie- that is awful about your basement. Our fills with water but our basement is unfinished. we just have to make sure everything is up off the floor a bit. (A bit- thats kind of funny- we have had up to a couple of feet of water before we had the sump pump installed)
I hope that nothing of yours is ruined. Good luck sorting out your "clutter" too. I have been helping MIL every week, and she has put a real good dent in it.

Thanks for starting our thread today too!

I had the funniest dream last night. I was getting ready for school and I had 4 minutes to go before I had to leave and I still needed to get b-fast and lunch money and no one was helping me. I was standing in the doorway screaming how much I hate school and I didn't want to go. Then my alarm went off and I groaned. Took me a minute to realize that *I* am not the one who has to go to school. I am simply responsible for corralling my own kids out the door.

I did exercise yesterday- 15 minutes. I had been doing really good on wii fit- my balance was so much better. Yesterday I was falling all over the place. Hopefully I'll get my strength back quickly.
I am going to shoot for at least 10 min's again today.

Tip on Tuesday
Dont' drink 3 large cups of coffee and expect that energy to last for more than an hour or so ;)

Before I get started on personals, make sure that you all check out the new Monthly Challenges. The Cheery-O's have some great inspiration and fun for everyone.

Laurie-i think all of the stair climbing counts as exercise for sure! Hope that your legs are ok today.

Vicki- I adore that kit!!! You deserve some relaxing after putting that masterpiece together.

Kayleigh- I am sorry, I have to laugh at the bib thing. When I was teaching, it was in a day care. we all had to cover lunches in the Baby room and I always hated drooly babies. What do you think happened when I had a baby of my own? The drooliest baby ever! Scott drooled everywhere, all day every day. I'd goo through stacks and stacks of bibs.
Give Baby Bamm a kiss from me!

I don't think that there are any digital mag's any more. There used to be a few but i think that they all folded.
I saw that someone posted a few online mag's and that is a good way to start. Jodie mac's was Ella Publishing.
If I think of any others I'll post back.

Clara- plane tickets! Cool! Going home to WA to visit? That is awesome!
We have used T. Tax for years and I love how easy it is. But I just can't deal with it. Gary and I do it together, (2 Lyme Brains are better than 1!) and he is the major procrastinator. This year it easier for ATM, to not deal either.

I did hear about that- the Amish family. So very sad.

Kristy- woot for scrapping!

Hi meg!

Have a great day myO-Fam!

Good morning "O" Family, I was missing in action yesterday. My MG was on the computer most of the day, something he rarely does so I just got busy and did my housework and worked out for 45mins on the Wii Fit, yikes I am sore today, but hope to keep it up at least every second day, we shall see. Had a nice supper with the In-Laws on Sunday. Some tears over the loss of MIL's sister Lorna. But it was good! Did some things for her on the computer (copy of the obit in the paper) and looked up info on people that she knows who were in the earthquake at Christchurch. (wow so much devastation!) Today I am off to work for a few hours and then tomorrow we head over to the Mainland for the funeral. I did manage to get a layout done last night, so will be posting that before getting ready for work. Statement day at work, so yay I get to visit with my girlfriend for most of the day while we do the statements.

Laurie - That's awful about your flooding, hope that you don't have too much damage and that you didn't lose anything valuable! Sounds like you have had quite a workout though!! Praying for you and your family that you don't get anymore flooding!

Chris - too funny about your dream :pound: sometimes they seem so real don't they!! It does sound like this month will be extra busy here at the "O" looking forward to doing all of the great challenges this month!

Kiliki - Crawling back into bed sounds like a wonderful plan!! Hope your day is great!

Nana Linda, Clara, Meg, and all others who show up here today, I hope you have a super day!

yeah i got helena eating lunches right now...think im gonna lay down since my bed is right by the kitchen HAHA...we pulled the airmattress downstairs into our fireplace room to sleep by the fire at night haha...anyways.....yeah im tired....had weird dreams that kept my sleep restless last night....

morning, chickies!!!

I'm going wildly strong today!! I've already given a cello lesson to my Emma, been to the quilt store to pick up some much needed fabric for a submission, and now I'm back in the craft studio checking out the online world!!!

Hugs, Laurie, about the flooding!!! Wow!!! My kids don't have a clue about a basement...when I was little I lived in North Dakota and I loved the basement. I miss that here!! But, here in Houston, all underground is full of water, so alas, no basements here!! :) I love that Helen Keller quote!! :) thanks for sharing it here, hun!!

Chris, taxes...blech!!! How awesome that you are getting your MIL organized...can I be next, please??? Come on down!!! :)

Kristy, hope you get some rest today! grab a good book and lay down...I plan on doing that this afternoon. :)

Trudy, ohhhh hugs to your fam!! Enjoy your day, hun...you always sound like you are just enjoying everything life throws at you!! I am grabbing some of those fab feelings!! hugs!

to everyone else, love you all!!

off to plan some fun projects!!! both for here and for my blog!!!

Laurie -- I hope your basement stuff gets resolved quickly and painlessly!! Ugh that's so awful! <3

Chris -- Haha I hope the coffee does give you energy and help you get your exercise! Oh wow I've had crazy dreams like that.

Trudy -- I hope today goes well for you! & that you have safe travels to the mainland.

Kristy -- enjoy your rest! just be careful sleeping next to the fire like that... it could lead to carbonmonoxide poisoning/death... it happens a lot in the foothills around here.

Well I'm half awake. Jeff woke up early and has been bugging me ever since. I'm already off to a bad start, I have these problem web design clients... I made changes that they wanted and fixed a problem... and they're saying the problem isn't fixed, but I tested it on my mac and Jeff's PC with all of the different browsers and it works.

Ugh ugh ugh and I haven't been able to design squat in over a week.

OK I'm going to sit here, try to wake up, and get into a better mood.

Okay............running back in for a minute!!

First....I was reading to catch up since Saturday and I wanted to wish my friend/Can Sister Trudy and very happy anniversary (belated)!!!

I wish I had to time to give you all some love....but I am going to be a bit MIA for a bit.....well...I will pop in but I am keeping 6 kids (three extra for me) for the next two, maybe three weeks!! AAAAAAAAAAAACCKKK!!! A lady that works with Sharon needed some help and I just could not turn her away!!! Guess that is what it's all about, huh?? helping others when in need!!

Anyway...........don't forget to check out the challenges for this month...as this is the O's 5th birthday month and there will be a lot of good stuff coming this month!!! It all starts with our monthly challenges!!!

Hey ladies!!

Just finished dinner and we are all just hanging out for a bit together watching Phineus and Ferb. The house is all cleanish and we are having some people over tonight for Am Idol. We know her from Italy and her husband is stationed here. She was stationed in Italy with her ex-husband and she has since gotten out of the Army and has gotten out of the Army and we haven't seen her since then. So this will be fun. They don't have cable and they are dying for Am Idol. She is such a sweet heart and we really enjoyed her there. We'll have fun.

Derek and I had it out last night...in a good way. Things are coming down to the wire and if he doesn't get promoted in the next few months he may never get promoted and I lost it because some of the circumstances were self-inflicted and he just doesn't respect all that goes along with being a military wife and I just broke down. I am so scared that he won't get the promotion and then he'll end up getting kicked out of the Army and it is stressful. Hopefully it will be all good very soon.

Laurie - that flooding sounds very stressful, and like a lot of work. I hope it does help with the decluttering. But what a pain to get you truly motivated to do it. I just hope everything dries out and nothing is ruined. Good luck.

Chris - What a crazy dream. Good thing you don't have to got ot school. That would be a pain. Yay for Wii fit!! Go Chris go!!

Kristy - I hope you got some rest. I love sleeping during the day.

Trudy - I'm glad you had a nice dinner with you family. I hope the funeral is nice. Enjoy statement day.

Sally - I never had a basement either. No basements in Washington...oh I lied. They do have basements in Oregon. But generally I grew up without a basement. A strange concept to me. Enjoy another energizer bunny day.

Meg - you and your web clients. Don't know why you do it. They seem to be more of a pain than they money could be worth.

Linda - You are such a great person. I hope those kids are great for you and don't run you ragged. Hugs for you.
