I was a bad faery yesterday. I *really* didn't want to go to DMV. (In case you missed that.) When Gary offered to come with me one day next week, I jumped at that. I know, I really should have sucked it up and gone, but the more that I pondered, the more I didn't want to do it. :decision:
But since I was staying home, I sucked it up and did the other thing that I didn't want to do-- taxes. I finished the family's and Cait's. Scott's are mostly done but I want him to go over them with me before we file. Scott is going to end up having to pay. He took no deductions and had nothing withheld. I did that once when I was first working. I thought it was my money- and I was going to keep it, why should I hand it to the govt and get it back later? After that year, I felt it was better to take the deductions and then have a pleasant surprise in April.
When Cait got home from school, she needed to request official transcripts for the colleges that she got credit from when she was taking dual enrollments in high school. She is doing On-Site Decision Application to Ramapo College on the 24th and needs to have the documents for their Admission process. We had to go to all three schools' websites but darn it-- so much easier to do that then in the olden days. *grin* We had to write to the school and pay by check through snail mail. This was all able to be done online.
I have no worries that she won't be accepted. Scott was accepted last year and her GPA is 3.7~, a full point over his. I think both kids will be happy to be on the same campus again. They liked it when they were at the Community College last year.
Today, Cait and I are off to the Food Pantry and then I have the day to do whatever.
The dogs are doing better again like the fight never happened. Soooo darn nice to see wagging tails and sniffing butts. Yesterday, all three of them were walking in the LR nose to butt like a train. Gross but hysterical ound:
The sun is out today so maybe it will melt some more of this snow. *fingers and toes crossed*
Thinking of toes, my goodness, I cannot wait to get my toes in the sand this summer. It can't get here soon enough.
