Some personals from yesterday, bottom up!
Clara- I would feel so LOST!!!I guess the good part is that you will be busy with work and the coffee stand. But man, I would be missing those babies so much.

Make sure you get lots of hugs from Derek. I know that I literally crave hugs/contact when my kids are away, and if Gary is making me crazy- I go to the dog!!!
You and Derek staring at each other reminds me of the few times Gary and I went out alone when the kids were little. we didn't know what to even talk about without them LOL
Hope your allergies calm down! You need a nice gentle rain to clear the air out and to cool it down.
Kristy- wow! Your yard and the pits look wonderful!!!! Bet you are going to have so much fun with it-do a lot of your friends play horseshoes? We have a set that we used to play around with but we haven't even dragged them out in years. If Gary saw that pic- he'd want to get digging right away. (Then he would look outside, realize how crappy he feels and then sit back down! Hahah!)
Enjoy the cooler weather and have fun at your party!
Trudy- those temps are seriously perfect- I could even go up to 85* very comfortably, but I hope that they stay like that all weekend! Boring life is kinda nice, if you ask me heh.
Gary ended up not going for his tests. Part of me was aggravated part of me understands. He stomach was in bad shape and the lab for the blood work is a half hour away and the hospital for the chest x-ray is about 5-10 minutes past that. So he had to cancel. He is going to get his blood drawn next week at the dr's lab in town-but then he has to pay a $15 fee just to have it drawn there. Insurance co's suck! But to get the results in soon, its worth the $. He isn't going to worry about the chest x-ray ATM. That is fine with me, let us deal with one issue at a time. :boom:
We watched
The Whistleblower last night (in pj's on my comfy sofa!). It was about sex trafficking in Bosnia after the war in the 90's, based on a true story. After it was over, I said to Gary that we all might complain about stuff that the US does "wrong" but thank goodness we don't have to deal with that. (not that there isn't traficking in the US b/c there is-- but it is not to rampant and common and corrupt) Anyway, it was very dark, but really well done. And made me want to protect my kids even more!
I agree with you all about opening the blinds- my houseplants need light. my spider plant is turning a light green from lack of sun. Do you think fertilizer would help? I have fertizler for flowering plants but maybe it would work on those too?
nana- this makes me so mad!!!!!!! I would suggest that you see if your neighbors can make a stink somehow- maybe write to your newspaper, and the bad press might make them reconsider.

Homeowner's might be a way to go too, but that would have to depend on your deductible? Our is either $500 or $1000, can't remember and it wouldn't be worth it in raised premiums. Argh! Its such a scam!!!!
Deep cleansing breaths..............
(Don't you all like it so much better when I am quiet? :tape: )
I wish I could help you Nana- I hate having such close friend who live so far away
Hopefully the kids will settle back down for you once "life" is more "normal" whatever the heck that means.
and to end this on a good note- YUM!!! I love zucchini bread!!! But I haven't had any success with zuch plants either so I haven't had much in the way of excess zuch!
xoxoxoxoxo!!!!!
love and hugs to all!!!!
