I am going to start this up- I see Linda S is stalking me around the forum, waiting for me to post this LOL LOL

Happy Weekend!
Happy Birthday to my amazing Mom!!!

I thought that Linda would have posted inhere by now. Maybe I took too long and she had to leave. :( but, i know she'll be back. I have my ways. :spy:

I had a pretty quiet day yesterday, lazy. No scrapping. but I tried my hand at my new wii game, Epic Mickey. Do any of you have it? It is really such a cool concept, but I am *not* a gamer and spent an hour of my day yesterday trying to get past one part of the game.

Today is my mom's b-day and the family is all getting together at my brother's tomorrow for brunch. I am making banana bread, (which reminds me I need to get the bananas out of the freezer), and paying some bills, doing some filing, getting ready for Income Taxes. We are going to get slammed this year. We received Gary's back-pay of Social Security Disability last Jan. and no taxes were taken out of it. I guess at that time, we thought we would be in better financial shape at this point. Who knew I was goign to lose my job too? Bah. Well, it is what it is. *shrugs* We'll find a way, we always do.

Linda S- I am glad that you aren't getting hit as bad as last year. But we had blizzards last year too. This storm was nothing really- 6", light stuff. Just enough to make driving in the mt's bad.
Our school district has to share buses with the HS, MS and 6 elem schools. One year, they called an early dism. and the roads were so bad trying to get the HS/MS kids home, they were super late for the Elem runs and then the roads were even worse. Parents/bus drivers were really upset. So if there is snow, we usually get called out the whole day.
I hope that you can do your performance reviews quickly so you have some down time this weekend too.

NanaisbeingBad-- come out come out, wherever you are!!!LOL
For those who haven't noticed, Oscraps has been getting more than its share of icky spammers and nana (the good one!) was trying to show us how to ban the suckers, so she created her alter ego, nanaisbeingbad!

Laurie!! Spam carving!? Hahahaah! We were playing apples to apples last week and one of the words was "unnatural" and I played "Spam" :p

Kayleigh- i am so so sooooooo happy that you are back together!!!!! yay!! And it sure sounds like things are moving along. With #1, everything was "locked up tight" and on my actual due date, I felt to crummy, crampy, spotting an all that. Next morning, I was in full labor. Hope the same happened for you.
*fingers crossed*

meg- technology is a blessing and a curse! Hope today is quieter for you.

Addie- Can you please send me some Easy Bake treats? Thanks:)

Clara- awesome advice for our new mama to be!
You are pretty darn amazing as well.

Nana Linda. Still no mad mod powers. Just regular mod powers. I feel so inadequate
That is too funny about Savannah and Mike!

Trudy- Bon Voyage!!!!!!!

Clara- what are "smart glasses?" I think I need to get me a pair.
And yes, you are the real deal. if we are going to stay soul sisters, then you do know everything. (And yes, i crack myself up too :) )

Kayleigh - another quick reminder...don't punch your husband in the face. Then he'll be cranky and think your baby's birth is all about him. Bad plan!!
100% TRUTH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

kristi- good for you!!!

Laurie- make Mr Punching bag go shovel. :)

Ok better get going before my ramblings bore you all out of your minds....

Happy weekend everyone!

Ugh, good morning everyone! I feel pretty bleh today. Hoping to go back to sleep. No other real signs of labor so that really sucks. Hope everyone has a fantastic Saturday!

Chris - :) thank you! Its been a crazy up & down rollercoaster ride but things are settling down now. Once both babies are born I think we can go back to somewhat of a normal life.

well, more snow today- I do like it when it is falling pretty and since it is so cold out, guess I will wait till tomorrow when the sun comes out to shovel again. Just can't seem to get warm today, so I need to go snuggle under the covers again and veg on tv- it is just than kind of day

Morning everyone... just stopped by to say a quick goodbye. I am off to
Mickey's house.

Good Morning!!!!!!!!!

WE got about 1 1/2 inches of snow last night!!
Just enough to aggrivate!!! I am just very thankful it's not like LAST YEAR!!!! But then again....we have had all these DEEP FREEZING Temps to make up for the lack of snow!!! OOOOOOOOOOOOh can ya tell Winter is not my favorite??

The little man spent the night last night and once again, I got booted from my bed!!! Around 3 AM....actually...MIKE AND I BOTH DID!! HAHAHA!!! He came to our bed, so Mike got up and went in the kids room and got in that bed....well, I was wide awake and Cameran was on my side of the bed, and snoring................SO I got up!!! Came in the LR and watched TV for a while and fell asleep on the couch....So MR CAMERAN had our bed to himself!!!!

I am going to clean house today, and then maybe if it's clear up, we might go out to dinner tonight (I have TONS of Gift Cards)...then tomorrow, the only plans is to go visit with my MIL for a bit, and check on Mom....WOW we live such an exciting life.....OH...I do have a Netflix movie I need to watch and send back...I have had it all week!!!

I will be back in a bit for personals!!

Good morning ladies!

I woke up sicker than I've been in a long time, stomach cramps + pms cramps + more cramps ... my whole torso is killing me. To top it off there's a knot/trigger point causing pain up my neck into my middle ear + causing a migraine. Jeff worked it out last night, but it would come back in under a minute. Ugh trying so hard to not throw up.

I'm going to go see if I can handle getting up and showering, I might need to wake up Jeff to give me meds.

Sooooo, I never thought that getting organized to send out birth announcements would be so complicated. Not only am I designing my own, but I have to track down addresses for all of Mario's family (that speaks spanish) because he didn't do it before he left Nevada. So I'm going nuts.

A lot of super sharp pains in my lower abdomen and girly area but no real "labor" pains.

Hope everyone's day is great so far!

afternoon all - sunny and cold and snowy off and on here- brr and the sun glares on the snow. I am off to purge- the Holiday decoration closet- that is my afternoon project.

happy weekend all....hope everyone is having a fun one!!! nothing much going on here...just sitting and relaxing looking through the gallery seeing if SOMETHING inspires me....so far no luck though BLAH....

Kayleigh-good luck with the birth announcements!!

Meg (i hope thats your name...my brain is a little fuzzy lol) i hope you are feeling better soon!!!

Linda and Laurie...please whatever you do DO NOT SHARE THE SNOW!!!! lol we have been having a very mild and dry winter so far LOL i like it that way!

Chris...no epic mickey here yet...but i want to get it....looks interesting and happy birthday to your mom! my moms birthday is on the 23rd :)

I thought that Linda would have posted inhere by now. Maybe I took too long and she had to leave. :( but, i know she'll be back. I have my ways. :spy:
I'm here! And Chris is right...she's got her ways. :spy: Because she is right...all of a sudden I realized that I had to get into the shower if we were going to get Shaun to his basketball game on time.:mmph: But I'm back now...and I've even had a nap! :p

Nana Linda, you just reminded me that I have a Netflix movie and have had it since before Christmas. It's Brian's song...I love that movie! And tonight might be the perfect night to do it! Funny about Cameran having the bed to himself!

Kristy, I sometimes spend so much time wondering through the gallery that, I wind up with plenty of inspiration but no mojo! Ugh...

Stopping by to say hi really quick. Sick kiddo here. Ugh! I should've went with my "mother's intuition" today on this one. He took a nap (which he never does at home anymore) and then on the way to his classmate's bday party, he was really whiny. And then wouldn't you know just as we pulled into the parking lot, throw up everywhere! Yuck, yuck, yuck. Cleaning car seats is so not fun. But he does seem to be feeling better now, thankfully. He's camped out in my bed watching tv, which of course makes *everything* better.

Hope you all are having a good weekend. Will pop back in later.

Kayleigh---both babies? Are you having twins? I've obviously missed a post!

No, no, I am not having twins! lol But my daughter will have a brother born a few weeks after her. My husband and I had some marital problems this past year and it resulted in him going from zero children to 2. So, yeah. It's a really complicated situation but we have and still are working through it. All that matters is now there are 2 more babies to love =]

Kayleigh it's amazing that you two have been able to work through that!!!!!

Well, I'm on the mend!!!!!! The morning was the worst, but I got better slowly. Every now and then I have random stomach cramps that feels like a knife is stabbing me from the inside. I'm the queen of stomach problems (as most of you know,) and this is a new feeling. I'm hoping its just a random gas bubble!!!!
I managed to get a 20 paper & 50+ element kit finished off for the most part today! Now I'm on to a smaller kit.

Ladies major prayers for my hubby -- I got a text that he was attacked at work -- that his uniform was shredded -- and that's it. No other communication.

He should of been home an hour ago.

If I don't hear from him in an hour, I'm going to go all bitchizoid on his dispatcher to find out where he is, and if that goes no where... I'm going to have to call hospitals. When they have fights at work, there usually is at least one person sent to the hospital.

Freakout over.

Long story short, he had to stay over until the night club at the casino closed in case there were anymore fights... because the supervisors on the next shift didn't show up.... grrrr.

I guess he got one good punch to his chest, then after that the guy just ripped his shirt apart. Jeff has pictures for me when he gets home!

Meg- how awful.

I am coughing my fool head off- grr- looks like I may have to actually use my health insurance this week. Oh well. Being able to move without coughing would be good. Although I must say for the first time in many nights I was able to sleep for more than an hour at a time. Today I have many things planned. I wanted to go to church, but do not want to share this cold with any one, so I will have my quiet time at home and maybe do church on tv- never done that before

Good morning ladies! Kayleigh, I remember now. Great job by you...and two babies to love is fantastic!

Meg, that would have scared me to death! Glad that he got the rest of the story to you so you didn't have to keep worrying.

Laurie, so sorry to hear about your cough. Hope that you feel better soon. Enjoy your quiet time this morning!

We have church this morning, Brian needs to show some houses this afternoon, I need to get my cell phone fixed...it's acting crazy...need to get my haircut...need to get my new glasses ordered...need to...need to...need to...

hey Linda- have you ever tried zeni optical on line for glasses- a coworker did and got 4 diff styles for $24 total- I couldn't figure out how to plug in my script, but may try again.

Hello!

This has been a pretty good weekend. The Seahawks got the wildcard slot in the playoffs. That was pretty cool. Didn't see that one coming. A losing team beat the defending Superbowl champs? Craziness. I had a church small group yesterday which was lots of fun and church this morning. Then I spent lots of time with Derek and Addie this weekend. It was great. Derek has taken over mt new PW cookbook and has been cooking for me. He made jalapeno poppers and marlboro man sandwiches (thanks for the suggestion Sally). If you don't have this cook book, get it. It is less than $20 at Walmart. Plus it reads like a novel and she is so funny. Both recipes came out amazing.

Tomorrow I will be getting Ethan enrolled in school, I just have to get the paperwork together. Tonight I have to rewrite some stuff in the lease because I think we found a renter. Whoohoo!! They will move in the 15th. Yay!!! That makes me sooo happy.

Well, how about some personals...

Chris - thanks for confirming my everything-knowingness. I appreciate it. :) Thanks for the feel-goods. I'm always up for those. So...smart glasses are just regular glasses that we call smart glasses so that Addie will at least wear when we are practicing reading. She has been very difficult about getting her to wear them. So, that helps some.

Kayleigh - Maybe the bleghs are a sign of labor. I felt like crap the day before I had Ethan. Also, the sharp pains could also be mild beginning labor pains so watch them. Good luck. Walk girl walk!! And good for you accepting your difficult situation and working with it. I'm sure there will not be an easy road ahead but hopefully you and your husband will be able to work through it and like you said be able to love both babies regardless. Sending prayers your way. Oh and don't sweat the birth announcements. Just get them ready without the addresses and let your husband get the addresses when he gets back. People do not expect them right away. So don't stress yourself out over it. Just do what you can and let him do the rest later. I know it is hard to do that, but it is okay.

Laurie - I hope you have a plow of some sort. Shoveling stinks but if it is what you do, I guess it is what it is. I hope you are feeling better today and that you guys enjoyed your snuggle day.

Trudy - You have a blast with Mickey!! We'll miss you here.

NanaLinda - That is hilarious about C. That sounds like how it would go with Derek but I would sleep all night with the kids. I love them in my bed and have no problem sleeping with them in my room. Actually when I was at my Aunt's house I was in a bed with the kids and ended up sccoted almost off the bed with the kids taking up the rest of it but still sleeping. I'll sleep through anything. I hope you do go out someplace yummy for dinner.

Meg - glad you are feeling better and that Jeff is okay.

Kristy - I hope you find inspiration.

LindaS - Wow!! You had a busy day and still found time for us. Yay!! Glad you got time for a nap and time to play. Whoohoo!!

ME - Poor kiddo. We always want our kids to just be tired and not sick and try and pretend they will work their way out of it. I do it too. Glad that some goood TLC did the trick. Amazing what mom's bed does for illness.

Okay, I think that is everyone. I'll check back in later. Love you guys.

Clara- it is less than an inch- so I am just going to drive over it in the morning! I was busy inside purging- crap that has been sitting around in bags and in the basement- won't the trash man be surprised- trash at my house two weeks in a row!
