Good morning and happy Friday to y'all!!!

I was all confused this morning, I thought it was Saturday. I cleaned yesterday for my Friday Client b/c we were supposed to have cait's appt today. So when I woke up, i thought yesterday was Friday.... oh well. Tomorrow I get to sleep as late as I want at my mom's! yay!!

I cancelled Cait's appt today. She was sick yesterday and gary is in bad shape too. Its his Tindamax Week- its a abx that is *nasty* beyond belief and it makes you feel worse than before. But it is one of the few abx that can kill the lyme bacteria once they go into cyst form. A necessary evil. I also think that Caitlyn is herxing, not flu. She increased her minocycline dose to 300 mgs a day and that might be making her feel really sick too.

I am actually off to MIL's to work today (woo-hoo!!) but my fingers are crossed that Cait can stick it out in school b/c if not gary might need to pick her up, and if he can't drive, then I'll have to leave work early and all that good stuff. MIL lives 45 min's away.

Anyway- my poor brain is all over the place here isn't it?

Finish It Friday:
I need to finish packing for the weekend.
I need to finish the next couple of days of posting here for the Posting Challenge.

xoxoxo!!!!

eep! I re-read what I just posted, and it doesn't make any sense, not even to me ;)

laurie- that sounds like a crappy half-day to me too. I hope that gets worked out so you don't miss your function.
I hope that your demo went well yesterday. It must be a bittersweet opportunity for those parents whose children need that help.

Clara- I wish you lived closer- you could come and join me in PA and get away from the men;)
How was "work?" hope that you knocked their socks off and they want to hire you ASAP.

Fran- how did you do at the dollar store?

Phyllis- Oh brrrr!!! Yesterday here it started out really nice- it was this perfect fall weather day. Then the wind kicked up, the sky got grey and cold. I think it dropped 10 degrees. I am not happy with snow/winter at all.
That is funny about your laundry room. Sally has a closet that she goes into to cry it out. I love going to PA b/c no one calls, there is no internet, its very peaceful (mostly - when I have the whole fam with me, not so much).
OMG!! Too funny about the post its!! I put "special" stuff in plastic bags and tie it up. The men are too lazy to open it up to see whats inside.

Inquiring minds want to know: Is the window poly'd yet??

Maureen- ugh about the installs. Seems like everyone is having computer issues here. Have you looked into a tablet? I love my tablet/pen. I can't get the hang of a trackball at all. No eye-hand coordination or something, but I always make it go in the wrong direction. LOL

Oh no Trudy- be careful with your jaw. Hope it feels better today.

Maureen- I am going to have to check out those recipe links too.
My mom has a lake house in the Wallenpaupak area, near Honesdale/Hawley. Its in the NE part of the state. I guess the nearest city is Scranton, about an hour west of where we are.
TREP$ is a entrepreneur program for school kids. She did it twice when she was in Elem School where she sewed "Caitlyn Cuddlers" little stuffed animals. They go through the process of coming up with a business plan, figure out expenses, how to market the product and then at the end, they have a Fair where everyone sells their stuff. Its a very cool program.

And its that time... I am off....
more xoxoxo to all of you!

Happy Friday- I was able to work out my time off issue-mis communication- she meant for me to move my patients, not to work until 320. The event went well, and my boss that does not give compliments freely actually complimented me on how well it went (even though it was not a billable event (work in outpatient facility- we are supposed to make money). One little one took off in an adaptive gait trainer and she has never done this before!!!

Good Morning All!

I don't know what was wrong with me yesterday, I was sooooo wiped out. I actually fell asleep on the coach around 7:30. That is early even for me......

Chris - I didn't make it to the dollar store, plan on going tomorrow so I can take my time and look around. I've almost decided not to dress-up.

Morning all.. We're off to DC today to see an art exhibit at American University and then get lunch at an Armenian festival up in the same part of DC. It seems one nice thing about Dick's cutting back on work is that we can go to places during the week. It has to be an early in and early back to avoid the heavy traffic coming out of DC mid afternoon. I suspect most of the beach traffic is done but fall at the beach is really nice too.

Chris - thanks for the place finder. I spent my toddler years in Hazelton and Wilkes Barre til my mother got a job with the IRS and we moved to MD. I still have one cousin in Tamaqua. All the rest of my family...both sides...left the coal mining region when they could.

back atcha ladies tonight!

always chatty at the O!!
Good morning. I'm currently waiting for my migraine meds to kick in because I have a killer today. I had it all night too. Poor Addie woke up in the middle of the night and peed all over the bathroom floor. Derek started throwing all these questions at her so I had to yell at him to stop. The poor girl was only half awake and peeing herself. Get her cleaned up and back to bed. He was only half awake too so he was being lame. He did stop when I mentioned that she was only half awake and to back off a little. So she got cleaned up and hopped into bed with us.

Today Derek has a PT test. I'm assuming it is this new PT test that has all these crazy things they have to do instead of just sit-ups, push-ups and a run. I hope he does alright. He was concerned about getting taped and weighed. Hopefully it is all good. he is such a brat about food. He'll tell me we don't need ice cream or something and then within the next day or two he'll be covering something he's eating with butter and cheese...like that's better. Lame. He is 100% boy...all the time. Tonight I think we are going to the Mellow Mushroom for pizza though. Yummy!!!

Well, that's about it. I'm debating going back to bed until Addie wakes up. I love me some sleep.

Chris - I hope Cait feels better too. That really sucks you guys have so much going on with all those meds. I wish you took meds that made you feel better all the time and not worse. Hugs!! I hope you have a fabulous relaxing time in PA. You deserve some rest. Oh...you asked about the dr. So, I have this PA that refers everything out and doesn't really take care of anything. So, I mentioned EBV and she said referral. That was like 3 months ago. So now I am finally scheduled and had no goals or game plan and it was just frustrating. The guys wanted to know stuff but didn't ask good questions. Then at the very end decided I might have herpes because I broke out on my chin recently and it is healing. Very lame. The whole thing was stupid...but I do want all the blood drawn and doctors won't usually order everything that needs ordered and so he's doing that. So...something good came out of it.

Laurie - the event may not have been billable but stuff like that is why people stay where they are at. Because the facility tries to help them on all levels. We used to keep seeing this crappy doctor because he had an amazing nurse and she always did those things that went above and beyond what a nurse needed to do. I'm glad you got your time off figured out.

Frani - the change of seasons always makes me tired and feeling yucky...and usually comes with a cold. Hopefully getting all that sleep keeps you from getting sick.

Phyllis - good luck getting everything done. I hate housekeeping. I wish I lived closer to Chris because I would have her clean my house.

Happy Friday ladies!! This has been what seems like a very long week and still I don't have a schedule for what I am working next week. I have never seen a place that is so bad at doing the work schedule!!! I am really hoping that now that they have hired a couple of new cashiers that my hrs. will be cut back to more part time which is what I wanted when I first went back to work. Got flights all booked for my daughter and her her boyfriend to come home for Christmas, I love Airmiles!!! Used all of mine and all of hers, but that's what they are for right? More good news... my son sent me a little comment on facebook saying they will be packing up and coming home to :canada: from Italy in the next couple of weeks  I am so happy!! He is missing his family so much! I guess now that Muammar Gaddafi is out of the picture the tech guys are no longer needed and its time to come home!! Hooray! Another madman gone!! Okay enough rambling I need to get ready for work.

Chris - I hope you get to sleep as long as you want and you have a wonderful relaxing time at your moms lake house! Wish I could join you!! We could get into some wine and just talk and laze around!! Heaven!

Laurie - So glad things worked out, and so nice to get a compliment from your boss! It must be so rewarding to see a child do something like that for the first time! When my daughter got so sick it was like a miracle when she started doing things she used to do again. She still surprises me with improvements each time I see her.

Frani - Maybe its the change in weather that has got you so beat?? Or maybe you are just working too hard LOL!

Maureen - So lucky are you to be able to do all of the things that you and your hubby do! I can't get mine to take a day off to save his soul!! Maybe one day he will want to travel and see some culture. I keep hoping anyway! Have fun!!

Chris - Awww poor Addie, I used to love it when the kids came into bed with us, so soft and sweet smelling so cuddly I miss that!! Hoping my grandkids will want to cuddle with grandma when they come home.

Kiliki - good luck with your list and your housecleaning.

Hope everyone enjoys their Friday!!

Morning, girlies!!! :) Today is my "day off"!! I was planning on spending the entire day in bed, but these adventy thingies (I love the word thingies!!) are gnawing at me. So I'm going to work a little on them until noon and then hit the hay for a relaxation day today! It's a good thing I got up (even though I wasn't going to!!) this morning because the pest control guy came and knocked on the door. I really prefer to answer the door more than the kids coming down in their pjs!! LOL!!

Praying you have a wonderful day and weekend!!!!
love you all!!! ♥

Ohhh and Laurie, I meant to tell you yesterday, my Lillian learned to walk with one of those cute little walkers. At first, I was a bit taken aback by it all (denial that my child had issues and all...LOL!!!), but I quickly got over it when I saw how it improved her walking faster than anything!! And you can't help but smile and think how cute they are when they are walking with those little things!! :) We used to say she should have little races with this older lady at church who walked with a walker...soooooo cute!! :)

Men! they just don't listen, do they!!!:mmph:

Well we are still home, there is no trip into DC because he doesn't feel good. That is not what's bugging me. It's that last night he said his ears were bothering him. I said...Take a Zyrtec in the morning. My dr said that is one decongestant that doesn't raise your blood pressure, and give you that wired feeling. I SAID, Take on in the morning! (he gets up by 5am...what can I say??)

So just before we're ready to go, I ask..How are you feeling? moan...not good. I think I'd be better off if we stay home.... I squint at him and say...Did you take the Zyrtec??? No, I don't have allergies. I took some of the decongestant (that HE bought!) and now feel all jittery.

$%**^*$_ and thoughts to that effect. How many times have I explained that he can take a Zyrtec as a decongestant. I wash my hands of this man ever 'getting it'. So today, maybe I'll work on my NYC pages. Big big sigh...

Maureen - Why can't men just concede to the fact that we know more than them and they should just listen to us?? Geesh!!!
