Ohhh I so totally did NOT want to get out of bed this morning. I think I took 2 xanax last night instead of one. I think I took one, but then I wasn't sure and I wasn't getting sleepy so i took another... I don't think I moved a bit last night, but that alarm went off.... Super-Groggy, Batman!

I don't feel like I have much to say today. hehe.
I am going to post this, cruise through thf orum and come back for personals in a bit .

Nana Linda- Yay for Miss S being good for you. You'll get a kick out of this story. I did food shopping for MIL yesterday. When I pulled into the parking lot, I parked next to a familiar lookin gcar- it was *my* moms. I had to run through the store to find her before I could even get a cart and shop. It was so nice to see her unexpectedly and I think the people in the store thought I was wacked cuz I was hugging her and shouted I love you when I passed by her in line LOL
Yay for moms!

I feel ypou pain onthe cimputer- I am still having mine crash/lock up and Gary and I cannot figure out why. Scanned, no viruses (virii??), all drivers are up to date, can't figure it out. Hope that you get yours running better too w/o have to do any more restores.

Krista- I wish I was running with a "little behind" Oh, you said running behind... LOL

Kat- even so, you are still done with the major part of you C-mas shopping which means I can hate you with love. Buahahaha!!!
I am so happy that you had fun at Nick's school. Little kids can have such a great energy and perspective on life!

Meg- Oh yeah- the meds are "good" I feel like crap when I am on them, but the days off, seem to be better. I had a couple of really decent days.
How dod your yarn group go? Good luck with that patience issues... if you can figure it out, let me know :rofl:

morning all - a rainy day - just redeemed points for restaurant cards for the drive to and from Florida. It is a rainy day here, so I need to pop on the treadmill- we will be going out dancing, but mostly fox trots and rumbas - not real calorie burners! Also need to make a card for my boss- she had a death in the family this week. And must make it to work on time to see what changes have happened in my schedule- afraid I will have to wait until the weekend to do personals!

Hi ladies!!!!!!!!!! How is everyone this morning????

So most of you know how much of a Wizard of Oz freak I am.....I don't think I have told you...but I am dressing little Jaid-a-bug up as Dorothy!!!

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHhhh!!! She is going to be so stinkin cute!!!!!
I had to get everything in pieces....but I did it....dress with bows for her hair, ruby slippers and the basket with Toto!!! I spent WAYYYYYYYYYY too much....but......they are only kids once!! and I need to live vicariously through them :pound:

I told Sharon I was going to dress the whole bunch of them next year....maybe even myself!! HAHA!!! We could have the Lion (Jesse) the Scarecrow (Cameran) Glenda (Jaiden) and Savannah can be Dorothy next year(will need to buy wig though)....and ME........................:wickedwitch (insert evil laugh)


Can you tell I am having WAYYYYYYYY TOO MUCH FUN with this Halloween stuff!!!????

Okay...........off to get some :washing: going....


OH....and if anyone is needing anything really adorable for their Christmas trees.....SALLY can do it...............I got my stuff yesterday!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!! They are going to be fantastic on my tree!!! Wait until my Mom sees!! HEHE!!!

and speaking of Moms.....Chris...............LOVE THAT STORY..........my kids would probably run if they knew I was in the store they were at!! HAHAHA!! But I would be like you...running to find my Mom, hugging her, and yelling I love you at her!!!! MOMS are the best...but so are Daughters that show their Moms that they are the Best :hug:
 
My gallery is evidence that my insomnia was in full gear last night! Right after the honeymoon & the hubs went back to work, I started having insomnia on our "Monday" nights and by the time I could get a full night's rest, it would be his weekend again! Well, it's back. I kept working last night/morning even though I could tell my journaling wasn't coherent anymore!

So, total blessing yesterday -- the car doesn't need to be fixed. The battery was the dud, even though we had the battery and alternator tested at Kragen. & the battery wasn't even a year old. I'm trying not to let myself think about all the money we wasted these last four months on gas by sharing my caliber. I get 26mpg/hwy, and the Jetta gets 35++mpg/hwy... and my hubby commutes over 35 miles to work. Ok, stop it Meg - don't think about money that's already been spent!!!

We're picking up the car this morning when the hubs gets home. Have to pay the $72 in diagnosis fee, but that's SO MUCH BETTER than a $200-300 fix. I just hope that IS the problem. Then, today I'm going to see if there's a house appraisal report waiting for me and ask my boss to get paid (I'm like a sub contractor bc she doesn't need ft employees, so it's pay-as-you-ask lol.) It looks like we're going to have plenty of money for our trip now!!!


Chris -- I'm so jealous of your wii fit!!! We have an xbox 360, so basically a brick, and the hubs doesn't want to get a wii. Lol, maybe if I make enough sales I can save away for it!

Laurie -- don't feel bad about personals -- that's a lot going on! Your boss is lucky to have you, someone who cares :)

Krista -- I hope you catch up!!!!

Kat -- I hope you get everything done :)

Nana Linda -- AHH THATS TOO CUTE!!!!! My MIL & I saw tiny ruby red slippers at walmart the other day -- I could tell she was almost going to buy a pair to save for the girl or boy I might have some day, lol. I doubt they would fit our dog!
 
TGIF everyone!! It is a beauty of a day here, so I am heading out for a hike this morning, but had to check in here first of course with my :tea:

Chris - better be careful with those xanax pills of yours or one morning you won't wake up at all LOL How nice that you got to see your Mom at the grocery store!! I bet you made her day as well!!

Laurie - Your boss is very lucky that she has you for an employee, not many would make cards for their boss!

Nana Linda - Waaaaaay too cute with the dorothy costume for little S!! You will have to take lots and lots of photos for us, can't wait until Halloween now!

Meg - You have been a very busy girl in the gallery!!! What have you got now for LO's for Amanda's challenge??? So glad that you will be able to have lots of spending money for your trip!! It really is scary to think about how much we all spend on gas, I sure hope that we can become less dependent on fossil fuels in the very near future!!

Vicki - hope you catch up on your :sleep: !!

Krista - My goodness girl, you better stop trying to catch up... you will be so far behind you will figure you are first!! :pound:

trudy -- have fun on your hike!! Once the weather isn't 94 degrees everyday (blegh, in october?? really?) I'm going to add day hikes to my routine.

Update on the car -- It's home, but... we realized we don't know where the DH put the registration after it was broken into when it was just sitting there. I guess the battery was fine, but it kept getting drained & needed a super good charge. Before the car died -- we were sharing it with my in-laws while the DH slept during the day... and since it wasn't their normal car, they kept leaving the lights on. I'm paranoid that it'll happen again.
 
hey girlies...running behind, too!! omgosh!!! (yay, Nana Linda!! I'm so glad you love them!!)

here's my quick list:

*print out credit card sign! (yep, i take em!!)
*go to High School Mom's luncheon
*eat and party at luncheon! LOL!!
*go to quilt store to kill time while Mr Gorgeous is picked up in the airport and meet him at church!! YAY YAY YAY!!!
*go home, pack up booth!
*set up booth at church
*go home and party like there's no tomorrow with my darling husband!!! yay!!!

It actually doesn't sound so bad...yay for lists!!!

Hey all! Just wanted to let you know I'm still alive and kicking!! I'll be back for personals after I catch up on a week's worth of info.

And Nana Linda, I just may need to pull out a photo of Sydney's first Halloween and scrap it! It's got some funny journaling to go with a very cute Dorothy outfit!
