TGIF! TGIF!
wow oh wow am I beat!!! I have been so busy, work, Gary's b-day, Mother's day, regular life. I need a day to rest!
it is not going to happen today, that is for sure.
I am cleaning this morning, then I have to finish up the rest of the stuff I need to do for the b-day/Mother's day party tomorrow. Sunday is Mother's Day and I am demanding a day for just me! LOL
(yeah-- I know, its not going to happen. I'll end up getting involved in something and there the day will go...)
I have super-bad with personals the last few days again. Hope all of you have been doing great!
Laurie- all ready for your vaca??? I hope that you have a wonderful and romantic time. You deserve every minute!
I started out with the ice in the coffee cans, but then I needed to switch to the power drill, so I used gary's work-horse (is that the word???) and a 2x4. I painted them yesterday with a dark metallic blue, today I am adding the clear coat and handles. I will take pics!
Nana- What a difference a little bit of sun and warm air makes!! The last couple of days were freezing cold here too- but its going to be back up into the 60's today- still very cold for this time of year but better than 48* that it was on Wed.
Ticks do live year round, they are just more active in the spring and summer. I recently read that they have a 2 year life span as well.
So, Sally, do you think if you took me to a Texas Exhibit, they would let me in??
In my mind, I tell myself that most texans are not like what I read about in the news, same as most NJ-ans are not like jersey Shore. How weird it is they that we can stereotype so broadly within our own country? *muses*
Anyway...
Dumpty! So good to see ya!!!
Clara- I will look for the link for the lanterns. i don't think that mine came out as nice as the blog ones, but ...whatever....
I will come and garden for you and you can chat with me-- its a deal!
Nana- sounds like a very nice day. And cruises... so jealous! I wanted to talk my fam into trying a Disney Cruise, now that they are sailing out of NYC, it was 3 against 1, no one wanted it but me.
Trudy- i was just saying the same thing- how sad it is that working 3 days in one week can wipe me out both physically and mentally. My llmd prescribes provigil for me- its a slow release "speed" for lack of a better word and it keeps me going when I am ready to fall on my face. I don't take them often, but I am thinking it is a provigil day today!
Hope that you get get your PT shifts back so, I know your gardens are calling you too
