Happy Friday ladies!!
I am glad it is Friday!! Ready for the weekend even though I had a short week, but it seems like we are all ready for the weekend starting on Monday. No big plans, although I do need to do some clothes shopping for miss Addie Paddie. She needs some pants in a bad way. The girl just doesn't grow so when she is finally ready for the next size all of her clothes are worn ragged. At 3 1/2 she is finally ready for some 3T pants. She's my little miniature child, but then again, so is Ethan. It cracks me up when people tell me they are going to have a growth spurt. I wonder when it is going to happen and if they need glasses and have seen me or my husband. I'm only 5 feet tall and Derek is 5'6'' on a tall day. we're still waiting for our growth spurts. Poor Ethan is the shortest in his class. He's shorter than most of the grade below him. A lady I know was telling me that maybe I should hold him back a year so that he wouldn't be so little comparatively to his class. I'm glad I didn't listen to her. He's ahead as it is in his class and does his reading one grade up. They probably would have ended up moving him up a grade anyway. My little teeny tiny kids. I love it.
So, I need to finish up paying bills today. So, not fun. Blah!! Bill day is the worst. I really don't mind paying my bills except for things like the electric bill and the HOA fees. those irritate me the most. I hate our HOA. We live in a new development and we have not 1 but 2 associations. we have an HOA and a neighborhood association and have to pay dues to both. And they are run by a company that is owned by a resident in our development who was the president of the HOA. Conflict of interest?? It is just ridiculous. I hate it.
Anyway, I need to take care of that. So, I'd better get going.
Chris - words of wisdom. I don't know. That just sucks. I know if you say anything to him he'll get angry and think you are picking on him and be irrational. Boy do I know how that goes. I remember many a hysterical messy fit at my house when my mom would try and talk to me about anything. My best suggestion is to come up with a solution and help him come up with that solution on his own. I just have no idea what that solution might be. It is too bad he's not a little older. My mom always wished she would have put me in the college program so that I would have had a school schedule that would have worked better for what I needed. But Scott isn't old enough for that. I'll put my thinking cap on and see if I can remember anything that was helpful or other options from back then and let you know. I'll be praying for you guys. Lots of hugs!!
Laurie - Good luck at your competition this weekend. I hope you do well and most importantly have a blast. I'll bet your dress looks fabulous. Can't wait to hear how it went on Monday.
Linda - I don't understand how mom's don't stay home with their babies when they are sick. I want to stay home with my kids if they have a hangnail. I hope your dh gets better too. no smooches for him until he's better. you don't need anymore sickness. You've had enough. And you need to get our LO started. LOL!!
Alright, I'm outta here.
