yay for Friday! Last full week of school here, yesterday was the last full day :)

I was so busy yesterday- made tons of Faery-Wings stuff. Can't wait to get it in the shop.

I am sort of feeling quiet today. I know, crazy, huh?

So if no one minds, I am just going to give a big shout out to my O-Fam!

Morning all. I'm draggin this morning. It stormed all night and I didn't sleep well on top if it all. (I never sleep well before that time of the month.) But Ben and I are going to do something today. I just have to see what the weather is going to be like to decide. Maybe the Botanical Gardens...

Clara - I hope the Cristian thing stays quiet for you. Maybe his parents will realize the effect it is all having on him at some point. One more day until your big jump! I hope you are excited. Did I tell you my FIL and SIL jumped a few months ago? They had a good time.

Ona - Hope you got your shopping done and are enjoying your long weekend!

Hi Kelly!! - I'm glad the teething thing is better. Time is the best cure. Same thing with potty training. There is no trick that will make him catch on any faster. He just has to be there. I know everyone says it, but it was still so frustrating when it was going on. Now Ben has it mostly down. Yay!! So be prepared for that in a while. =)

Dawn my sweet, it is stinky in my garage. I didn't figure out anything to do with the garbage unless I want to pack it all in my car and drive it to a dumpster somewhere. And I don't want it in my car! I'm soooo glad your head is feeling better. Believe it or not, I didn't grab my camera when he saw the caterpillars. But I will today. I bought that incredible new kit from Dawn and Hollie and I think that will be perfect for caterpillar/butterfly pages!

Linda - I hope you are feeling better today. Some days just suck don't they? Pamper yourself a little bit to feel better!

I'm going to do a quick gallery run and FB check. (We'll see how "quick" quick is.) And then Ben and I will have some fun together. Have a good day all!
 
well....I just had typed out my book for the day, and was saying goodbye to everyone and lost the whole darn thing!! took me an hour to get it typed the first time....I will come back later ladies....

Just goes along with the day I had yesterday...GGRRRRRRRRR!!
 
Hi ladies, sorry I haven't been around much since vacation ... haven't been feeling really chatty. Anyhow, I am home this am with Christian. His daycare is closed today, but he is also so sick so it's worked out okay. We went to Einstein Bagels this morning and he threw up everywhere. Augh, so not pleasant. So we are back at home, he's resting and watching Cars, and I am playing online. I am heading into work this afternoon when DH comes home for the second shift.

Sara - Enjoy your day with Ben! Christian went to a nearby garden here with his class, and they loved hiking and looking at all the flowers.

First and foremost I must say I have been Gallery surfing all week trying to see everyone's layouts I missed while I was gone and I have to say WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW!!!! Such an inspiration! I am loving them all :)

Today is another day of errands and laundry for me....since both NIck & I are sequestered until the 24th....*sigh* I cannot wait for the day! Not only signifies his recovery is mostly over but also...FREEDOM!! Yeah we can go out and play!!

Yes...one more day until the big jump...yes Kat out of a plane. I talked to my mom yesterday and she didn't realize that I had never intended on going when I came up with the plan for my husband. But now I'm going and I have my brain wrapped around the idea of it being awesome. I will definately post something over the weekend to let you all know I landed on my feet. And I will tell you all about it on Monday!! So think about me at 2:15 PST and know I am flying through the air.

Well, I am not feeling all that talkative either, although I am sure that will pass and I'll be back later. Love you guys!! Have a great weekend!!
 
Ok...lets' try this AGAIN...........

I had such a bad day yesterday...and today has been the aftermath....drained...no energy!! Poor Cameran...he doesn't have Kindergarten Camp on Fridays and his Mom dropped him off here this morning...he hasn't gotten much from me today....but he's so good...he has just played and played...his imagination is LARGER than life!! He LOVES LOVES LOVES legos and he builds everything with them...thank goodness he is such a sweet little man!

Sara....I wish I could pamper myself....my counselor says I should too...we are working on that issue...it's like I feel guilty to do anything for me! The caterpillars sound so cool...I may have to check into that for Cameran and Jesse...they would love it!! and hope you and Ben have a great day together...wish we had a botanical garden close to us!!

Chris....since I haven't been here that long...I have to ask...what kind of products do you make??? from the link to the store you left, I was assuming candles...but I know what ASSuME does!! anywho...it's awesome you found a place to sell them!!

ME...your pics are wonderful!! I know you wish you were back on vacay!! and poor Christian....I hope he feels better! Glad to see you back!

Kat...HI!! I am with you on the gallery....it's been ROCKIN with terriffic pages!! I have been so loving it!!

Well - The garden got rained out. I started thinking it may not be a good idea to go to it anyway because there is a big CWS game today and the garden is not far from there. So the traffic would have been insane. I also thought the children's museum would probably be packed as would the indoor mall playgrounds. And I am just tired anyway...so we just ran some errands and had a nice lunch out. Now we are both playing on the computer. =)

ME - Hope Cristian is feeling better! It will be good for him to relax. Hate it when they throw up everywhere. That's just no good.

Kat - Hope your little one is on the mend. Did you say what he had done? If you didn't and didn't want to....ignore me. =)

Clara - Hmmm...is there something in the O water today? I can't believe you and Chris are both quiet....if Dawn doesn't feel like chatting, then I'm going to start getting worried!!

Oh Miss Linda - I'm sure that Cameran is loving his day with his Nana. And I'm sure you're still giving him plenty of love and attention. =) Wrap yourself up in that family and maybe you'll feel better. =)
 
Sara - ((hugs)) You absolutely can ask :) He had his tonsils and adenoids removed along with fluid removed from his ears. It would have been a "routine" Surgery but because of his allergies it's been a nightmare. He's doing awesome though through it all!! I am so proud of him :)

*LOL* Maybe it's me....I have been so quiet so long I am sucking all the talkative mojo out of everyone :)

Clara good luck tomorrow!! Wow that is amazing...I so couldn't do that! :)

I don't usually do the Daily O's thing, but figured there's no real reason why not, right? So here I am!


Since I'm new to the party, there are some things I'm not real up on. But:

Clara- You go girl!!! We live on Pope Air Force base at Fort Bragg, NC, home of the 82nd airborne div, but nobody in this house has ever made that particular leap. I'm chronically afraid of heights, but that said, I think a tandem jump would be a LOT of fun! That is awesome for you!!!

Chris- gonna have to look up your stuff. I'm a huge sucker for homemade herbals, etc.

Kat- *sigh* poor fella. (((hugs))) to you both

And just a wave and a Hi to everybody else.

As for me, I'm feeling kinda down. DH Vince is leaving for Afghanistan in about 6 weeks or so, and we just found out yesterday that he has to spend the next 2+ weeks out of town taking care of some pre-deploymet business. He's been gone twice before, so we are .. well, not USED to this deployment thing, but we've been there, y'know? But finding out yesterday that we are going to be missing each other for half of the time we have left has kind of taken the wind out of my sails.

But we'll get through it, we always do!

Okay, I'll check back tomorrow! How fun!

Hey everyone! Its Saturday morning and guess what..........ITS STILL RAINING!! I am just so over it!! I had planned on getting some washing done when I saw a little bit of blue sky early this morning but now that is gone!! so no laundry {{sigh}}........hahaha! just kidding! not sorry in the least!!!

Like everyone else I am feeling quite today as well, its raining, the fire is going and I am going to do some housework first and then just sit down and scrap!!!

So HELLO to everyone! Hope you all have a lovely weekend, we don't always need to be happy and bright, I think the quiet times are just important so just BE!

Welcome Mrs. ABoyer =) Soo sorry to hear about your dh leaving. Our good friend just got back from almost a year over seas. I can't imagine how hard it is when it's your husband.

Ona - Sorry it's still raining. Ours burned off by about 3 p.m. It turned into a brilliantly sunny evening. But now I'm all of energy from such a gray boring day. It's 7 p.m. here, too late to start anything fun. =) Soooo...I'm just computering. I'm going to watch Don't Forget the Lyrics though. So, we'll pretend I'm playing for a lot of money. =)

Ona, honey, don't float away!!! Goodness, is the rain ever going to stop?
If it makes you feel any better, well, probably won't, it's kinda cold there, isn't it? It's been super hot here, it got up to 101 today. Yuck. I hate hot weather....one good thing about it is it keeps me from eating much, LOL.

Yep. it's Andrea! Thanks for the awesome welcome, everybody! Vince will probably be gone a year. That's the standard deployment, although something could ALWAYS change. I thought I was okay with it (well, as okay as can be, y'know?) until we found out about his out of state duty. They just sprung it on us Thursday afternoon, and we'd already planned out pretty much the whole time he has left here. Rule #1 of military life: expect to change your plans.

So for the next three weeks, he'll mostly be sitting in a hotel room doing nothing. He's gonna be one BORED puppy! :-) Then, the day he comes back, my mom is getting in from California with my college son in tow for a visit. Son goes home after three days, Mom's here for 10. Next day after she leaves, we get ready and drive to Pennsylvania to see Vince's family. Then when we get back we're pretty much waiting for him to get on the plane.

Blah. Good thing I have something to do to occupy my time! Soon as he's gone, I'll be looking for those guest CT spots, I think!

Where are you gals with all the rain? Here in NC it's been mostly sunny, but HUMID. My goodness, I'm sweating so much, it's not cute. LOL. Or maybe that's just hot flashes!
 
Hi Andrea!! we are a friendly lot here!! I meant to say in my last post that that is so sad with your DH being deployed and wow!! when he comes back you'll have a house full.......you'll just have to be firm and have some time together before he goes, just the two of you!! go away for the weekend!! your mum and son catch watch the house!!! :) I am in 'sunny' {cough} Australia!! but its been raining like forever it seems......we had a flood about 3 weeks ago, had once nice week of sun, and now its back to rain! and we are having our winter so its pretty cold as well! Its 4.30pm Saturday afternoon for me at the moment and I will have to go start getting dinner ready for my DH and me. Only us two and one little foxy terrier!! All the kids have flown the coop a long time ago!! ok, better run, nice talking to you Andrea and hope you continue to drop in for a chat! {{hugs}}.
