Helllllooooo ,
Day Seven of the Par-tay and wow, it really has been so busy and fun. I feel bad that I haven't been able to be around as much as I would like but I have scrapped three pages and played three games. Not too bad. *wink*
You might want to sit down when you read this. It's shocking.
My parents didn't fight/bicker/yell/snark at each other *once* yesterday. [Disclaimer: at least not while we were there]
I know!! Crazy, right?
My mom was a little "mom-ish" wanting to help the guys by tidying their tools up --while they were still using them. Some things won't ever change
I didn't do any housework, she wanted to talk some things over and I listened. If that helps her more than a different dust ruffle, then that's good for me.
She was cute, she got emotional when she saw the gazebo done. The old one was falling apart and she has wanted a new one for a few years, but I didn't expect her to cry over it. It was sweet to see her happy.
Since we were out almost the entire day, I have scrap stuff and housework that I have to catch up on. The dads are coming here on Sunday and I need to make cards for them too. All of that is on my list for Finish it Friday. What is on yours?
wishing everyone a wonderful day!
