hey hey hey! TGIF!! yesterday felt like a Friday to me, which was a bummer to have to get up this morning at 5am, but its nice to have a second Friday ;)

And we finally got some rain! My plants are so happy! Some of them were getting pretty darned wilted. I was able to work outside a bit in the morning and I was planning on scrapping in the afternoon. But my mojo is totally gone. G-O-N-E gone:(
Gary wanted to watch The Godfather Part 2 so I sat on my butt and watch that for 2 hours before dinner and then watched TV with him for another 2 hours after dinner. What a waste of a day.

Today i am going to scrap dammit!
And tomorrow I get to see my nephew!!!

Finish It Friday-
I have so many loose ends to work on all over my house. But I think I am going to work for an hour organizing some of my photo albums that are thrown all over. Maybe scanning some older pics will get my scrap-mojo back.

Kristy- hope that your day went ok. Did you get rain? I know I was really happy to hear it pour down here in NJ.

I could save this as a Tip on Tues but I'll forget by then. The other night, Gary grilled pizza- sooo delish and very easy. We just used pre-made pizza dough. You grill it on one side, then flip it, we added sliced plum tomatoes fresh basil and garlic, topped with cheese. He said it was amazingly easy and he usually doesn't cook at all.
If you like brick oven pizza- you have to try this!

That Addie!! She sounds like the perfect DD for you, my Soul-Sista! Cait was the same when when she was little! "Me-do" ugh! LOL
Did you gets pics of her in her get-up?
So glad D is home, bet the kids are happy too.

Meg- Oscraps distractions are allowed. (at least that is what i tell myself heh) So good to see you here too!!

Good morning!! I went to bed early so I am up and at em today. We are dog sitting for our neighbor across the street and so Derek had some extra time this morning so I sent him over to let their dog outside. I was still sleeping and in bed when he came back saying "Look what I found in their backyard." I asked what and he said a rat then laughed. When I opened my eyes and looked he had an armful of pomeranian. A cute little thing. So today I have to try and find the owner. It had on no collar and it needs a bath. So Addie and I will probably give it a bath today, call the humane society, and post on Craigslist. We'll see what happens. The kids are already trying to give it a name and stuff but I won't let them name it. The humane society isn't open yet so I have to wait to call them. At home they had an automated system to report and look for dogs. This poor little puppy is trained and is not in anyway afraid of people. This will be an interesting day. We had a pom when I was a kid and she always ran away and we'd have to chase her until she got tired. I'll keep you guys posted.

Alright, gotta go work on puppy stuff. Get it bathed and stuff.

Chris - those chill days are the best and I am sure you needed it. Not a wasted day. You got to sit and chill with your hubby. That is good stuff. AHve a great rest of your day and I hope you get some scrapping in after to find your mojo. I say look in the couch cushions for it. That's where I always lose stuff. :)
 
morning- I have today off- later we will take dance lessons then head to the fifties fling and perhaps a winery on our own- we will meet up with friends tomorrow. It is raining here today, so no lawn mowing before I go. I have some paperwork for work I would like to do, but need to do my 2 mi walk first. I made 10 days in a row yesterday. I know the hotel where we are staying has a workout room, so I can get it in tomorrow before we head out to dance.
 
Well, the puppy owners were found. It was fun having a puppy for the day...although Addie is now being a pill but she reacted great when they came for the dog. I was kinda hoping we wouldn't be able to find the owners but did all the things I was supposed to do to find them. Craigslist, shelter, etc. I know they are happy to have their dog back.
 
Having fun, just Mr. Gorgeous and myself for today. We stopped at 3 wineries, but only two were open. The third had alpacas and it's neighbors hac zebras!!
