TGIF everyone!!!!

I have "good" news (I hope its good!) My Lyme dr is taking me off antibiotics! Its kind of scary. OK-- it is *very* scary. I have been on abx fo r3 years now. Each time i would miss some doses, my symptoms would come back. But she feels that i am stable at this point and if I am going to try it, now is the time.
She said that it it (Lyme) comes back, in 6-8 weeks, i'll know it. Please please let me stay stable!

Gary is coming off his abx too. She isn't thinking that he is clear, but thinks that he needs a break and his is also stable. He still has horrible symptoms but he has plateaued. Maybe the less meds will help his stomach issues too.

I am off to work in a bit at MIL's.

What good plans do all of youhave today?

Laurie- I hear you on your temptation! Who needs reality? LOL
Hope you got everything accomplished that you needed to get done. How was kohl's? Any good finds?

Trudy- How nice to get recognized by your bosses! They sounds really nice to work for- bet that guy who won the ipad was thrilled!

jean- how did you get your geneology group started? Gary had been fooling around on Ancestry.com. between the info he had and some of what his parents have, he was able to trace back to his dad's side of the family to coming to America in the 1600's. Then he was able to go back into Scotland and find some info on the Campbell Clan there. It is pretty interesting.

How cool is it that my Temptation came true?? LOL
Tonight at dinner its going to be "ugly" when my kids both have to take handfuls of meds and we don't. My son, especially. ugh. He hates taking meds but we'll focus on how is is weaning off. Cait had a year off meds, and hopefully this won't be a long run for her.

gotta look positively, right? ;)

Finish It Friday.... we got Gary's Disability deposited into the bank- gotta finish paying bills today, fu, fun!!

Good Morning Chris... It is so quiet here lately!! I sure hope everyone is able to enjoy the outdoors, because we certainly are not, its cool and rainy and it doesn't look like its going to be nice until some time next week UGH!!! We have been totally ripped off of summer!! Well perhaps August will be our only month of sunshine and warmth??

Chris - how wonderful that you are going off of your anitbiotics, sometimes I think that we become too dependent on meds and don't let our bodies heal themselves, then we have no defense against the bad bugs out there!! Just me ranting again... I will get off of my pedestal LOL.
Hope that you feel better not taking the meds!! Have a wonderful Friday sweetie!!

Good morning!!

We are about to head out to do some returns and spend too much time in craft/fabric stores. Blah!! My mom has coupons and so is planning to buy a few things for the wedding.

I am sleepy today. I didn't sleep well. kept waking up and I would try and force myself back to sleep but it didn't work well. Boooo!! I love my sleep so this isn't working so well for me. Maybe I can get a nap before we head off to a CineBar to see Harry Potter. I have someone watching the kids (I think it is far too scary for them) so I'll be able to enjoy some refreshments while watching. Should be fun.

Chris - Yay about the abx. Is Gary taking Doxy too? That stuff is horrible on your stomache. I hope it makes a difference. Hopefully your kids will be understanding and can be hopeful to get off meds themselves.

Trudy - This weather is not what I bargained for. I personally don't mind it because it is better than what I had in NC but it would be nice to have some sunshine.

Have a great day everyone!!

Evening, all! This was one of the longer errand days for my sister and I'm just home at 6:00. (Glad we eat late & OUT.)

Clara, if your weather isn't HOT, some people would trade with you. Just remember you're having fun?

Trudy, wish I could send you the 90s (30s to you?) they're threatening us with next week.

Chris, fingers crossed for this time off the meds!!
The genealogy group I mentioned is one at the senior center in our suburb. You have to live here and be 60 or over to participate in the activities. Our group just sort of grew. Lots of counties have local genealogical societies, maybe yours does. Staff at the library might have ideas too. It can really be exciting!

Hahaha!! i wouldn't trade this Washington weather for anything in the world. I live in NC and my husband is there without us and says he's dying in the heat. High 90's and 85-90% humidity is not my cup of tea. But 60s ' 70s and occasional sunshine...right up my alley. I'll take it. :)
