The Loopy-O
CHEERY O
Another long and cold week in NJ, but it is Friday wooo hoo!
My new job starts today and i am excited. I know- crazy to be excited about cleaning someone else's house. But I can get out of my own house for a bit. it is so much easier to clean other people's houses too. i don't have to figure out where to put stuff. ;)

KIn spite of the snow, we had a really fun day here. Gary, the kids and I played Raving Rabbids on wii. That it seriously the funniest, goofiest game ever. We played for about and hour and my arms were hurting from shaking the remotes and my stomach was hurting from laughing so hard.

I also tried a new recipe for New52. It was from my Disney World cookbook- chicken Florentine. Gary and I loved it and the kids ate it w/o complaints. That makes it a winner in my house. I'll be scrapping that soon.

Finish It Friday:
I have a pile of old photos (ok, *piles and piles*) that i want to sort through and figure out where they need to go.I have been intending to do that for months..maybe I can get started on it today.

be back for :tea: and personals in a few

Chris good morning- for me it is finally friday!!- I hope you enjoy your new job/3hour workout today! I need to go head to the treadmill. I think we are getting some snow-maybe an inch- but here- oh my that is nearly a major snow storm- just cracks me up! I think we will go to dance tonight- weather and energy levels permitting.

Good morning Laurie!
Good luck with the snow. I hope that it doesn't end up more than an inch or two. Have fun at dance!

Nana Linda- oh no- hope your day wasn't too bad :(
Bet it was made lots better but snuggles from your princess.
That winter photo was hysterical!!! I wish I was creative enough to have been the one who did it. but as soon as I saw it, I had to share

meg- I wish i could make you and Jeff some chicken soup!
What is up with Riley? bad puppy!
At least its just poop- Harley once rolled on a dead mouse that was outside. Imagine a skunk- but worse.
Good luck with those CDs. Its sounds like quite the hassle- but good for you for doing it!

trudy!!! Sunshine?????? Oh how nice!!! It actually wasn't too bad here when Scott and I were shoveling- there were some patches of sun and it wasn't windy. i worked up quite a sweat out there. But I would have much, much rather been out walking with you.
I hope that some day soon you can get your B&B.... that would be so nice.....

Kristy- don't you love mornings like that, when everyone gets up happy and no yelling?? Hope you got to get back in bed for a bit!

Laurie- wow- you had a very productive day, including scaring off a potential burglar.

To everyone else pops in, xoxoxoxo!!!

morning again - getting ready to head out to work- potluck today so i only have to bring my fruits and veggies and will supplement with whatever people bring! I'm bringing choc chip cookies by request and only ate - umm maybe 5 for taste testing, and froze the rest

Meg- get well soon!!

Good morning!!!

Hope everyone is fantastic today! Baby K is doing great. She's starting to sleep longer at a time so that means more sleep for me. She only got up twice last night to eat. It was amazing!!

I've been slackin off with my scrapping so I'm gonna try and get a bunch done today. I'll post to the limit!

<3 you guys!!

Hey ladies!! Happy Friday!!

Ethan is having a rockin' first day. He got the first day off and then today he is on a field trip to the symphony. I believe to see Peter and the Wolf. How fun. I had really hoped to take Addie to the Children's Museum today but no vehicle for a couple of months still. It is so close. Ugh!! Getting antsy to get out of the house. Next week I have to find a way to the hospital though because I have stations to go to, to in-process for volunteering. I am so ready for that. I just hope x-raying is like riding a bike. I am a bit bummed that there are no students though. Well, there are a few but not like the military hospital in Washington. The students all try and avoid Ft. Bragg like the plague. Not that I blame them. This place is seriously like a black hole. Once they get you here they don't let you leave. Only they don't get lucky enough to get in at the hospital, they go to a field unit, or maybe a clinic somewhere, but generally a field unit. That means deployment and while they are waiting they sit in the motor pool taking care of vehicles and equipment. In Italy there were 2 x-ray techs attached to field uints. (There are many more here I am sure). One was lazy and perfectly happy hanging out in the motorpool and doing what he could to avoid work. The other one would do everything he could to get himself into the clinic to shoot and Derek would bust his butt to get him there during the week to help him out. That guy got his share of Karma too. He ended up getting a placement in a clinic in Brussels after Italy. Hardwork, even if the only purpose it serves is to keep up your skills, will come around. Derek actually ran into him and now he is stationed here at Ft. Bragg in the hospital, so even though he served his time doing crappy time in a field unit the Army has taken care of him since. Of course his time could be limited and he could end up back in a field unit at any given point but until then...this is why Derek went into Nuc Med. Nuc Med is non-deployable since they don't have a nuclear reactor in the field to make radioactive isotopes for the radio-pharmaceuticals. They actually only have a few in the US that take care of all the hospitals in the US. Not exactly in high demand in the field. Yay us!!

Anyway...random ramblings. Whoa!!! They are coming back on much more frequently these days. What do you know. LOL!!! So today I need to try and convince Addie she needs to learn to read. She was super excited at first and now she fights me tooth and nail. Ugh!! I am really excited about Ethan's learning though. It seems as though he is right where he needs to be. A lot of the stuff is even a little behind so I'll need to find some workbooks to keep him stimulated. Now I just need to decide when to think about selling our HSing books and how. I have choices...craigslist, half.com, the local homeschooling store, or some local boards. We'll just see what I decide to do. But this teaching Addie to read stuff is making me crazy. She's making me crazy. I need to get a white board. I think that will help a lot to not use the book. We'll see.

Well, let me leave some love and then I should head off to do something productive or something...maybe I'll just scrap. Who knows.

Chris - Yay for your new job. I'm sure you will rock your new employers socks off and she'll love your work. I know what you mean about getting out of the house. I soooooo need to get out of the house and really need to get Addie into preschool. There is a school down the road I can look into. I just need to see about cost. getting her started in dance is costing a fortune. Ugh!!

Laurie - they freak out over an inch there? What? That doesn't sound like Ohio. Enjoy your potluck lunch and the extra cookies. Yummy!!

K - isn't it amazing how much you cherish sleep when a new baby comes? You are a scrapping fool lady. Go to sleep!!!

Good afternoon!!!! We slept until noon today, and we even went to bed early... so we got 11 hours of sleep!!!!! I'm feeling a bit better in some ways, and worse in others. Oh well. Jeff sounds better after all of that sleep!!!!!!!

Today I'm going to work on those ridiculous CDs, and read my book Jeff got me. I think I might try a new recipe from my newest cookbook, depends on if I can find an easy one I've already got the stuff for. I also need to write up a blog post for my new releases and send out a newsletter, blergh.

Chris -- Have fun with your new job!!!!!! I hope it works out well, that they're a joy to work for :)

Laurie -- Hahahaha an inch is a snow storm? Love it!!!!

Kayleigh -- So glad she's getting a routine down that isn't exhausting!!!!!!

Clara -- I totally feel you on the cabin fever :( It's going to get even worse for us now, Jeff's dad isn't able to take his work car home after Monday. Which is total BS because he's always the guy on call for emergency deliveries to the coast on the weekend.

Hey girlies...just popping in to tell you that I have to scrap this afternoon...i have so many other things to do, but I'm just gonna do a little me time for the next hour!! ♥ Checking to see what challenges I haven't done this month yet...

hugs! love you all!! (thanks for letting me pop in and out here!!!)

evening ladies... I am  today, made it through work and now I am just going to curl up on the couch and perhaps watch a movie. Hubby is working late again, as bad news about the missing girl....they found her body today, so sad for her family, she was only 18 and such a good girl, never in any trouble, she had her whole life ahead of her. So now my poor husband has a ton of work to do on this murder. I won't see much of him for days now. Hope everyone has a good weekend, I am resting up to get rid of this cold and then work for 4hrs on Sunday. Hubby's birthday on the 2nd and no idea what to get him, any suggestions??
