I HATE this cold damp snowy winter weather!!! I do I do I do. :(
I ache so much and I am so dangum tired.

Part of me was *really* hoping that my client was going to cancel for today. But, I guess it is good that she didn't. Thankfully, Cait is working with me so yup-- she gets to do the vacuuming.
Then I looked at the weather forecast and it looks like the snow is going to start overnight tonight and who knows if I;ll get to the food store. oh well. Crackers for dinner it is!

Its like I just can't get a handle on things.....

i have never been known as Little Miss Sunshine, but this is worse than usual. LOL
I should go and shut up now. Non-stop day ahead and all I want to do is sleep......

Hugs for all today- I am having a happy Friday! I love my husband and he is wonderful, but he has been home and been in a bit of a funk. So today he is off on the road and I begged off so that I can continue to clean my craft/crap room and play! Tonight if he gets home in time, we may dance. Today, I am going to think about my one little word for 2013. I had one for 2012, but it fell by the wayside, and was not powerful for me, so I joined the big picture class with ali and need to find a word (or have the word find me) Wish me luck.

Ugh...had a long post and the computer ate it! Why can't I learn to do ctrl-A and ctrl-C?

Off work until January 2. Brian just left for work and I am here with the kids for the day. I'm sure that I'll be back in later.

good morning - been up since 4:30am watching the World Jrs hockey from Russia. Trudy I was watching Canada this morning and boy are they a strong team. Now it is time to see if the USA can defeat Russia. I have been busy took my Escape in for a recall fix. Dropped it off at 7:30 and back now for more hockey. LOL Luckily all the roads were moving.

Chris I hope we dont get much snow but it sure is pretty.

Still feeling like crap today...but it is friday. I'm debating calling down to my supervisor to see if I can just go home. We'll see. Until then I am just waiting for some OR cases to finish because they will ne some x-rays in the post-anesthesia unit. I like being up here. I get to chat with you guys a little bit. I have missed you all. I miss my job in WA where I worked in a clinic and just played on the computer all day long in between my handful of patients.

Tonight Addie has her first real slumber party. She's had overnights before but never a slumber party. It should be fun for her. We went qand got a gift last night and stopped at Panera. I was so bummed to not be feeling well because I just didn't eat anything except some warm bread which was nice. Derek was so sweet this morning and went and opened the stand for me so I could get a little extra sleep and brought me a peppermint mocha. It's nice when he works it a little bit because he sees all the issues that need taken care of and gets to it. But he only goes in once in awhile. But when he does it is fantastic. It is amazing what sleeping in until 6 does for me. Anyway, I'd better go check on these cases and see what needs done. Have a great day.

Chris - I'm sorry you're down. I know how much you hate the winter. I wish you could live someplace warm and sunny all the time. Hugs!!

Laurie - Enjoy your alone time. Grumbling husbands always make it hard to get things done. Derek hasn't been sleeping well and has been a bit grumbly lately. Makes for a cranky Clara too. Such a crappy cycle. Hopefull getting your husband out of the house helps keep his grumbling from making you cranky. Hugs!!

Linda - Don't you just hate losing your posts? That's the worst. Have a great day.

Nancy - I know nothing about hockey. Although we do have a local team and the military gets us free tickets all the time...so we've gone a couple of times. Playoff are always exciting. Glad the snow isn't creating too much traffic there. Everything closes down here since it doesn't snow often.

Morning ladies... Day off today and I slept in until 8am!!! So nice to have a great sleep! :rain: here again today no wonder I am vitamin D deprived!! I haven't seen the sun in a long, long time!! Had to stop taking the vitamin D pills, they gave me the runs and I couldn't stand it any longer. Need to get back to the Dr. to figure out what to do. I will try to call today, but I doubt very much that she is working this week. I am off until the 31st and only a short shift then. Hooray!!!! I love extra long weekends!

Chris - I am sorry that you are feeling blue today! If I ever win millions, I will get you a place somewhere sunny and warm I promise!! Then we can all sneak away and just come and visit with you and scrap and chat. Perhaps we could even find Nana Linda and bring her too?

Eva - Hi :wave: hope your Dad is doing better!

Laurie - How is the cleaning/organizing going? Hope you get some time to play with your new silhouette! Enjoy your day off and hopefully your MG will be out of his funky mood when he gets back home tonight!

LindaS - Ohhhh I hate that when I lose a long post :rant: You never feel like retyping it again!! You have a nice long spell of not working!! Enjoy each and every day!!

Nancy - Glad you are getting to enjoy the hockey, everyone around here is so starved for hockey, they are glued to the tv watching the world jrs. !! Canada does have a very strong team this year, hope your USA team beats the Russians!! Exciting hockey for sure!
Is your Escape a new one? We have been thinking of taking one for a test drive, they look like they are fun to drive. You will have to let us know how you like yours.

Clara - At least you get to visit with us while at work, I would get fired if I was caught on the internet at work, but sometimes I sneak my phone into the the kiosk in the lumber yard and see what everyone is up to here at the "O" no cameras there to watch what I am doing. Usually to busy to spend much time on the computer anyway. Nice that your hubby let you sleep in a bit today and get a few things straightened out for you at the coffee stand! Your peppermint mocha sounds soooooo yummy!!! Hope Addie has fun at her first slumber party!! Hope your day goes along smoothly and you get to take off early!!

Well I better get something to eat and another cup of coffee :tea: I hope to scrap at least one page today and perhaps get going on a painting project I have been putting off. Have a great day everyone TGIF!! :wave:

Yikes- it took me all morning to empty one box- well it was a box of papers, mostly no good and had to be shred. The basement also used to house my office- hence the pile up of papers along with craft stuff. Should be better this time around. But on the positive note- more floor showing!

Thanks for the encouragement. I went through three boxes this afternoon. Many more to go. But I sm pleased thst I am tackling it!
