TGIF O-Peeps!

soooooo, who wants to do this faery a favor?

Shoot me or sedate me? I am going to the mall shopping today. *shudders* With my mom. Whom I adore. Totally adore. But who has a habit of chattering away (I have no clue how people deal with non-stop talkers:wave
and it makes my brain hurt after a while.
On top of that I am stressing out about money (what else is new) and it makes me a very cranky faery. It hurts already. :Cry:

I wish I could get into the holiday spirit but for some reason, going to the mall just does not do it. I think I get into the spirit the most when I am watching C-mas movies with the fam, or when I bake. NOT shop....
Oh well, I gotta do what i gotta do.....

So, back to my favor? Who is it going to be, and what is going to be your poison? Shoot or sedate? Or even better, shoot me with a trank gun???

My goodness, I have just been a bundle of joy and fun this week. (its part of my charm you know) :madgrin:

Maureen- I saw the update on YMG. hope that he feels better every day and no stress allowed!

Vicki- so happy to hear that your dad is doing well!

Donna- hope you were able to get lots and lots done.
My BFF got the tix ordered last night, 6th row center! We have both seen the B-way version, 4 times for me, and probably close to 10 for her, but this will be the first time the girls (both 13) will be seeing it live. Oh I am going to cry and cry, and then be filled with joy and strength. Love love love it and we both can't wait to share the experience with our DD's.

Phyllis- yay for human contact (But did you miss us here?? LOL)

Maureen- nope, they never listen...*smh* If he refuses to eat yogurt, try acidophilous- the kind that needs to be refrigerated after opening so they stay "live." best to take at least 2 hours away from the abx. We take ours at bedtime.

Hi Debbie- same here, the sun is shining, but dang its cold!

i actually don't feel so bad today! i seem to have had a few hours of OK sleep, which always helps the Chronically Crabby. i'm going to visit my Aunt Irene today, and meeting up there with my older sister, who i didn't used to get along with but am getting better at it.

Chris, my older sister is married to a non-stop talker. she just tunes him out. i've always WISHED that my husband was a bit more of a talker. he's more of a NON-talker. that's why i have to always have something going on inside my head. if i didn't, it would sould like an empty gymnasium in there.

and i KNOW you guys are Human Contact. but you're CYBER human contact. (so much more appealing, frankly....) i occasionally need to get out and hone my in person people-skills. much more of cyber land for me and i'll be trying to put my finger on annoying Real People and trying to slide them to the left, off of my touch screen.

so. Auntie visit and writing the new Anna Release for the Forum later, all the while scheming to find a way to get out of cooking dinner tonight.

Chris and Eva. behave yourselves! there will be no tank guns in this thread! :laugh:

Happy Friday.....

Okay I'm going to post something positive today since I've been on such a downer lately......hmmmmmm let me think....thinking.....thinking......oh yeah my daughter and her husband are now in the states and I can call and talk to her at a decent hour. I have a job, which are hard to come by in this area, I have a loving husband, although a bit cranky lately too.....just way to much stress in our lives right now.

Okay now to the whining....still no word if I get the approved time off to spend time with my daughter, mother-in-law will get released tomorrow and will need to set up care for her throughout the day, she's cranky too and hard to please. My own mother is not feeling well, cronic lung issues, she's been upset because my niece and her daugher are moving out this month. (she's lived with my mom for years), so mom is feeling a bit abanded and depressed. I won't get to see her until after Christmas, so I must make an effort to call her more.

Chris - I vote for we both get sedated to make it through the cheery holidays and loads of stress. We could just float along in a misty fog and not let things bother us so much...after all life includes those obstacles to help us grow right......hmmmmm yeah right.

Eva - Hmmmmm sounds like the perfect day for you.....HUGS!

Phylis - We could always be cranky together....just call me Strooge.....I'm feeling a bit BAAAAA Humbug myself.

Happy it is Friday and I'll be even happier after I get back from errands and groceries. I hope to finsih up some projects and then start some more.

Just posted the AnnaLift and now off to check out all those other fun December challenges................need more PLAY time in these short 24 hour days.

It sounds like there is a serious need of cheering here so you Cheery-Os can get your lights on. How about a whole bunch of free Christmas music? Brite Revolution Warm You Up mixtape ? Free is always good.

I'm off to the dr in a bit for blood work and a flu shot. So far today, no food, no tea, just water. These are the days I'm oh so glad that I let go of the caffeine a couple of years ago. Nothing like having a caffeine headache to start the day.

Chris...Your mother sounds like a teenage chatterer. The trouble is when your Mom 'outgrows' that stage, it's cause she won't be with you any more. Maybe you can just not buy today? and just enjoy her sound as background music to her company? If money is tight, maybe just make love and a calm Chris your Christmas gift to everyone??

Maureen - good luck with the badge of honor and keeping yourself and Dick calm until Monday. Hopefully the cruise will be the rest and relaxation you both need and get to enjoy!

Me I took my niece to the dentist yesterday and I get to babysit with my cousin Tristan(he's 5) this evening and go to dinner with Mamaw and my cousin Jay around 4. I think I'm headed to the basement to hunt for Christmas decorations. No big tree this year for me and just a few decorations but they won't jump out of those boxes and walk upstairs by themselves .... say an extra prayer for me today too ..... yesterday was extra tough with Mamaw.

I know I said that I would leave personals yesterday afternoon, but with so much happening this time of year I just haven't had the time. Today is no different and now I have to get going again. TGIF so I can perhaps spend some great quality time in here this weekend and catch up on the challenges and leaving some love like I should!! Gee ... I love my life LOL Was going to finish my Christmas cards for the list to get them ready for mail (Dec. 9 is the last day to send cards, and it's guaranteed they'd get there in time before Christmas) ...... stamped everything - added the embossing powder ... started heating with my hot air gun. .......... Here I was almost happy - creating - looked really nice .......... then it started smell strange. Turns out the hot air gun is ready for the hot air gun cemetary.

Tomorrow I will go and see if I can find any nice Christmas cards in the store. :-?

I think everyone is entitled to a cranky day once in a while...I usually get cranky at dinner time every night!! It makes up for my cheery mornings (every morning!! eeeek!!). LOL!!!

Also, wow! Check out that O blog...that will help cheer anyone up! the 12 days are amazing!!! I can't wait for all of you to see all of the days!!! soooo fun!!!

Hey everyone... I finally got home and now I can sit for a bit without being interrupted and soak up all the creative wonderfulness that is the "O" !! Hope everyone had a great Friday! I was crazy busy at work as per usual we are short handed so everyone is overworked and definitely underpaid!! LOL A great sunny day though so it sure raises the spirits! Have Subway for supper tonight, hubby's turn to cook. I am off to get a bottle of wine opened and then just sit and relax for a few minutes. See you back here tomorrow ::grouphug :wave:
