TGIF!
My goodness I am tired today. Yesterday was such a long day. But we got good reports on both kids from the dr. Cait is off abx! She is still taking several herbal supplements, but no more abx is great news. Dr B says based on her treatment and symptoms, she has an 80% chance of being fully recovered!

Scott also showed tons of improvement. His protocol stays the same. We go back on Oct- he wants to see them after month of being in school to see if that changes anything.

Today I am off to my mom's in a bit for the 2 day garage sale. I don't have all that much to sell, but the kids do. I am just going to help them and my mom out I guess. Def. a "zippy pill" day for me;)

The weather here looks to be perfect! Finally!!!

On for personals.

I am sorry I never made it back yesterday. we had to be on the road at 7:20 and no one here is used to that any more!

Linda S- oh yes, my mom is the best! Thx for the hug for Gary- he hates this. I can't imagine how hard this all is for him- as a man/husband/father/provider etc. And on top of it, he feels like it is all his fault, b/c we all got Lyme from him. Poor guy- I wish I could make him see how all that doesn't matter.

Aww, I remember when Cait would wear Children's Place clothes....so cute for girls!

NeeNee- have fun at mom's! Braces- cute... ugh... I am counting hte days until I can get mine off!! Not so cute when you have to wear them LOL
Scott had a palette expander too - top and bottom. It does get better. It was really hard for him to eat too. He asked for spaghetti the first night he had them in- OMG what a mess  Talk about slurping up your food! We still laugh at that.
If she is sore, I gave scott advil and that helped a lot.

Linda W ((((((((((((hugs)))))))))))) So crazy for you, wish I could help. *hands you a nice glass of Chardonnay* Its 12 o'clock somewhere!
Are you sure you want to read My Sis Keeper? LOL It is a *great* book but Jodie is a pretty emotional author. Her book almost always make me cry!

Clara- enjoy your weekend! I hadn't scrapped in so long- then when I lifted a lo of Ona's I had so much fun! Hope you do too.

Joslyn!! Hi there! Oh my Chase sounds adorable, Buddha belly boy!

Karen -- enjoy your vaca!!!!!

Sally- no responsilities!! Oh wow, that sounds soooooooooo nice!!!!!
Congrats on your kids tests, not that I am surprised.
Cait is loving the Warrior series too- that is the book club she is part of -- they all have "clan names" and roles of either warrior, healer, apprentice etc. Very cute! I might have to read one of them too to see what they are all about.

I know- "in a relationship" ahhhhh! He told the dr about his girlfriend. Crazy! I hope it goes well, scary for moms to know that kid;s hearts can get broken easily at this age. Among other things I am not ready for!

Good luck to your friend Melanie!

Sandra-- hope that everyone stays healthy for you!

Sara- hope that you made it to bed on time and got everything done you needed too.

LindaP- TY! I saw the photos and I am completely jealous!!!! Wow-- to have gardens like that. And all that room, and land gah! When can I move in?? "will work for food"

Hugs Dawn-- hope the headache goes away!

Clara- you too- hope your head is better.
Enjoy the kidlessness for me too- sounds like heaven! (but a bit lonely too...)

Love to you all!

Good morning all. No time for personals this morning but I'm going to try to make it back in tonight and catch up.

So, anyone think they have time for a Power Lift tonight? I haven't done one for an awfully long time!

It's Friday! Things are starting to get a little more back to normal here. But it's going to take some time. More rain yesterday, I should have mowed the lawn when i could but too much else going on.
Chris - come on out anytime! My garden would love to meet you!
LindaW - not sure about what happened with the squirrel but can imagine by reading between the lines. Glad that is behind you!
Linda S. - Hope all is wonderful for you!

Happy Hello to all my other lovely O's~

Hey everybody! I've been SO busy! Yesterday we were running appointments all the danged day long, 2 1/2 hours at the WIC office, plus the girls had to get physicals so we could enroll them in daycare/school (school for Atha, daycare for Jen whenever I have an appointment or whatever), plus poor Atha had to get 4 shots and Jen had 2. After the WIC appointment, we had to go get groceries, so the whole day was shot.
Today I've been doing stuff all day to get enrolled in MY school, and it looks like I'm going to really get to go! I almost can't believe it. It's been 20+ years since I've been a student, and I'm really excited!
Oh, and while I was on the phone, etc, I made a LO for the CopyCat challenge, and I really like it. But then anything inspired by Sarah Cornish, aka My3Hens, seems to turn out well. She is so talented!!
Tomorrow is Wives of Warriors at church, then Sunday is regular church. Monday is FINALLY the first prenatal appointment. Holy cow, so much to do!

Linda W- Tree huggers, lol. Hope the shopping went well. I know exactly how that can go. "Nooooo I wanted the blue one!" "But Honey, this IS the blue one." "I wanted the BLUE blue one!!"

Chris- ::CHEERS CHEERS CHEERS APPLAUSE APPLAUSE:: Here's to great health reports and sunny days! YAY!!!

Okay, I'm off to do dinner. I thought I was over being queasy till I tried to reduce down the liquid in the potroast I made for Vince for dinner. YUGH. Now I have to plug my nose and finish it. My man must be FED and FED WELL!!

Good afternoon ladies!!

So, a kid free house is so strange. I don't know what to do with myself. Then dh leaves in the morning to go fishing. So I will have 2 days to do whatever I want. Whoohoo!! I have lots of options but I really think I just want to lay low and do as little as possible, ya know?

So, I had to take care of a ticket at the courthouse today. I saw the little window where people go to pay things and thought I should just go ahead and see if I could just get it deferred. That worked. So I paid the fee and was off before court even started. It was awesome. So now I am at home eating a grilled cheese sandwich with a fork and drinking my chocolate milk (this is unfortunately my favoritist lunch ever). I think I am just going to lounge for a bit and then get ready to see Los Lonely Boys tonight. That was my parents' gift to me for my birthday, along with dinner. It should be fun. I get to be the designated drinker, which is always fun. It should be a good night...and then I get to come home and sleep as late as I want. WHOOHOO!!! Life is good. Although I am missing my boy. He's hardly been home for the past month. Addie has only been gone for a day, so I'm not missing her too bad yet, but it feels like he's been gone forever. Everytime I say the word "forever" I think of the "David goes to the dentist" video on YouTube. If you haven't seen it yet, you should HERE
It is hilarious.

Okay, I am off to do some personals...

Chris - I am so glad that your kids got back good reports from the doctor. That is awesome. I hope that continues to be the case in October. I really feel for your husband. That has to be really hard for him emotionally. i can't even imagine. Good luck at the garage sale. I hope your kids make all the money they want. Remind them that it is better to get some money than no money.

LindaS - That would be so cool to be part of a power lift but tonight is the concert. that would be awesome. I hope you guys have a good time though. Have a great day.

Linda W - yay for no more squirrels. I would hate that. I think squirrels are all cute and stuff i would hate to have them ruin that by showing up in my house. ugh!! Good luck with your cleaning. I had my house cleaned today and it is all pretty. I love it when my house is clean. Yay!!

LindaP - good luck getting back to normal. I'm sorry you missed your mowing opportunity. That stinks.

Andrea - sounds like a long day yesterday. I totally would have needed a nap after all that. That's cool you were able to scrap while waiting on hold. That is a great use of your wasted time.

To everyone else...Dawn, Sara, Tali, Kelly, Ona, NeeNee, etc....Have a great weekend.

Hi hi all.

I got a lot of work done last night and today. Did get the house cleaned or nails done, but hopefully, I can do that tomorrow. =)

Linda - I'd be up for a power lift! I'll be hanging around if you want!

Chris - Such good news from the dr. Soooo glad that things are good for Cait.
Linda W - So glad the smell (and squirrels) are gone. I can understand the backpack thing. We already have two backpacks for Ben, so I'm hoping they last for a while. =)
Linda P. - Good to see you again. Hope your trip was good. We had quite a storm here last night. Supposed to rain again tonight, but it's finally decided to be a regular summer and it was 98 today and supposed to be 100 tomorrow. blech When do you start school?
Andrea - Have you tried Lemonheads?? They were about the only thing that kept me from being nauseous. I'm so excited for you to go back to school! I'm sure it will be hard, but it will also be a tremendous thing for you.
Clara - Have fun being the designated drinker! I wish it was my turn tonight to do that. =)

In case you haven't heard or read this yet, this is a fantastic emotional blog post about John Hughes. I'm sure you've heard it a thousand times today, but those movies are a soundtrack/theme to my life. Anyway, I'm sad to hear a man who seemed to be such a quiet, normal, but powerful artist pass away.

Have a good weekend all!

Evening lovely-Os! and TGIF :).

DH and I just got back from eating Mexican and I had a lovely 1/2 pitcher of margaritas. Life is good :)....everything is good right now LOL.

oooh, you poor back-to-schoolers! I am soooo happy to not have to do that anymore :). But then there's that little part of me that wishes I did LOL.

So, remember me telling y'all about DD Amanda's new kitty? She and Davy are hilarious together! They run, and run, and hide-n-seek, and run some more. Poor Davy has to lie down periodically and cool off.. of course kitty doesn't understand that and wants to keep playing so I have to isolate Davy in our room LOL. They just love each other....can't wait for the day when kitty wants to cuddle and not just run and play. I've got some cute pics of kitty on top of Davy's cage I'll do a layout hopefully this weekend so y'all can see!

Chris-woohoo for the good dr appt! I hope the good news continues :).

Clara-enjoy your night out and your kid-free time!

Andrea-(((hugs))) hope the pot roast doesn't get to you too bad. Maybe try a mint in the mouth when you smell something that doesn't agree? That works for me at work when pts upchuck or have tummy issues...or just plain ole smell bad ;).

Sara-when does y'alls school start? Enjoy your time off while you can, don't work too hard on housecleaning and stuff :). I'm with you on the whole 'Summer's' back to normal...we had a mild July but August is hot so far, will be close to 100 this wkend :(.

LindaW-yippee for no more squirrels!!!! check your email girlfriend :).

LindaS-what the heck is a power scrap? is it the same as a speed scrap? I hope you do one another night, I've got to get some pages for CTs done tonight or I'd join in!

Hi to everyone who checks in! xoxoxoxoxoxo I looooove you all!

Hi girls!

so, I wound up not going to Mom and Dad's after all. DH has a nail in his tire...they are building like 5 houses across the street from us, so it was only a matter of time! I will be so glad when I can go outside again without being gawked at....ugh! So, he said it wasn't safe for me to take the truck.

Mom was disappointed but, I promised her that DH and I will come together next weekend. She already has plans for DH now to help Daddy move stuff! Poor DH....he hates when I volunteer him for stuff....lol

It wound up working out for the best anyway. DD #1's boyfriend was going to leave for college today (an 8 hour away school) and wound up getting in a fight with his parents last night because they did not want him to go out. He wound up slipping in the wet grass during their "argument" and fell on his left arm and had to go to the ER. He was there from 10:45 pm til 5:15 am! So, it was very sad and stressful at our house the last 24 hours. He didn't break it after all....just tore some muscles and has a hairline fracture. BUT....the poor kid is attending school on a Soccer scholarship and due to start practice on Monday and now has to sit out for TWO weeks! He was so upset today from the combo of leaving and starting his college days in such a bad condition.

He was the sweetest thing today and cried a few times...once when I told him bye and hugged him. I just love him to death. He is a great kid. I really hope the distance doesn't cause problems for them. At this point, I wouldn't mind at all if he one day wound up as my son in law! he's super smart (#3 in class out of 439), level headed, tons of common sense and treats DD like a princess!

Hope you girls have a great weekend! I will check in tomorrow!

Big hugs!

P.S. DD #3 is getting used to palette expander. Slurping is about half of what it was! Yay!
