The 20th?? No!!!!
I cannot believe that the summer is almost over. I still need a vacation! LOL

Its TGIF! But I am working at MIL's today and will be working from home tomorrow. Yesterday was so exhausting.Gary ended up starting to throw up right before we left, so he had to take his Marinol and couldn't drive. I *hate* driving on the NJ Parkway. I never know what lanes to be in for the tolls and it was rush hour. I am not used to 5 lanes of 70 mph traffic anymore since I live in the mountains. But I guess it is like riding a bike and all of my NJ driving techniques came back in a flash. Hahaha!!

But the appt went good. The dr went though a huge list of symptoms and Scott had to say whether he had them now in the past or never. Scared the %$#* out of me too- Gary had about 95% of the symptoms and I have about 90%. eep!

Scott had to pick the top 5 symptoms he wanted to work on and was able to get an Rx for a med that will help him be able to get restorative sleep. The other symptoms will hopefully lessen if he can get better sleep.

The best part was when we told him about the ridiculous idiot dr who is giving me a hard time. This dr is the Pres. of the Psych. of NJ's and he flat out said that if the idiot continues to harass me that he will pull rank on him. Loved that! He also recommended the Infectious Disease Dr that I have the appt for Scott with in Oct. The one that I still need the idiot doctor to "approve" .

If nothing else, this gives me a bit of piece of mind that this won't blow up too much b/c I don't have the time or energy for that kind of stress!!!

Going to go get a refill on coffee, anyone need a cup??

:tea:

I am back. Time for personals...

Laurie, next time you go on vacation, will you please take me?? You sound like you are being totally re-energized and revitalized and refreshed!

Nana Linda- love your avi! Sorry to hear that Savannah isn't feeling so good. Yucky teeth! Did you try Hyland's Teething Tabs? Those worked great for my two. Thanks for the prayers, as you heard, the appt went good.

Linda S- how are you holding up? And mom?

Sorry about the FB post-I should have said it was my horoscope. I even got a PM from an old friend making sure everything was ok- It is, is the same as it always is hahahahah!!!!
Today's horoscope is more of the same too- they just always make me crack up, its my warped sense of humor I guess.

Finish It Friday: I can't even go there ATM... I have to work on getting stuff started *and* finished.
But I hope that you all have a wonderful fun and happy day!
*heart*

Good morning ladies....

Personals FIRST....I never came back yesterday BOOOO! BUT...I just got lost in the gallery yesterday everytime I popped in!!

Laurie.....WOW that was a long canoe trip...sounds like fun though!! YOU ROCK!!!

LindaS...YEP...tell just tell Sydney the older she is before the tooth falls out, the more money the tooth fairy will bring... :pound: that is what I have been telling Cameran!! HAHA!!! YAY for scrapping time!! You gotta scrap after you go to the gallery for a while!! Man there is some awesome pages there!!

Chris.....We ended up going to the library to check out a couple of books on cd...he loves those....and to toys R us...and then he wanted to come home....he is such a home body and loves to just PLAY....he was singing in the car all the way home "THERE'S NO PLACE LIKE HOME" (his own verson of course)...it was hillarious!!! It sounds like you have found a GREAT DR!!! I love that he is looking at trying to make Scott feel better now and treat his WORST symptoms instead of trying to take care of the whole thing all at once....it seems that is not possible, so why not treat what ails you the most!!! and WOOOOOT for him pulling rank!! BAH..to your other poopy DR!!

Clara....awe sweetie...I hate that this housing thing is becoming a pain again...I hope it all gets worked out QUICK! and yeah..agree with Chris..the xanax is our best friend!! I am sure your friend Dave is happy you are cooking...he benefits well from this!!!

Well, the other little boy that I keep had his first REAL melt down yesterday. His mom is always really surprised that he is so well behaved here...but that is because she lets him get away with EVERYTHING at home..she tells me that...and he screams, throws fits and hits...now that kind of stuff is just not allowed at Nana's house....and you have to share too...he DOES not like to share AT ALL...when I make him, he will just push the toys away and pout for a few minutes....But yesterday he was sitting at the table and he wanted his juice...I told him to finish it at the table...he did not want to..he wanted to get down...so he pushed it away...Cameran came in the room and tried to hand him his cup, and Connor threw it across the room.....So I put him in time out....I went back in a few minutes to talk to him about it and he just started screaming...AAACCKKKKKK....Not sure why the screaming waited until AFTER time out was over....but he went to get his cup after that and I told him no because he chose to not have it at the table then he threw it...he started screaming again....time out again.....I am not used to this...my kids (grandkids) know WHAT's WHAT with me...and they don't have melt downs like this....They just know...if I say it I mean it..and there is nothing else to say!! MEAN OLD NANA!!! :wickedwitch

Okay...today we are BAKING....YIPEE....Cameran loves to bake with me!! Poor kid...last week before school and he has been cooped up inside all week....RAIN RAIN RAIN!!!

Must get my cup of coffee from Chris....I am in need!! Thanks sweetie

Chris, I definitely need a cup of that coffee this a.m. I am so tired! And I'm so glad to hear that the doctor's appointment went well! With all that you handle, I don't think driving any freeway will stop you!

Nana Linda, sorry you had to deal with the meltdown yesterday. But glad that you and Cameran are getting the last little bit of pleasure before school.

It's getting crazy here. Soccer practice for both kids, gymnastics for Sydney, mom doing much better but still in the hospital. And that doesn't even mention work! I don't know what I'd do without my wonderful husband. For those single moms out there, my hat is off to you.

But, after today, I'm off for 5 days. Taking Monday and Tuesday off since those are the last days before the kids go back to school. And Wednesday is their first day so taking that day so that I can take them to school and pick them up.

Back later tonight to do some scrapping and more personals! Have a good Friday all!

hey ladies!

i would rather be sleeping but my allergies are kicking my you know what. being in the camper is hard on them. there isn"t good airflow and so the dust that we create isn't helping, plus the cat makes for a miserable me at night. plus these mattresses are starting to get ridiculous and i woke up with a sore hroat. yay! to make it all better we have been watching addie trying to fight off an ear infection for a few days but she hasn't had a major fever or anything so i was hoping it would pass. then last night she woke up screaming. for some reason when she's asleep she won't take medicine without me and derek pinning her down and forcing her even though she loves it when she's awake. so frustrating. hopefully she'll be better after some ammox.

so, i'm waiting for a call from the housing office. they called yesterday but missed the call. maybe they have a giant house for us. otherwise we will keep on the house search off post too. i just want to have a plan and derek is making me crazy. he wants me to do all the work. men!

anyway, i'll try to come back in a bit. my thumbs are getting tired. :) love you all. oh, i have finally started some scrapping again. yay!

morning all - I just want you all to know that despite the fact that I am exercising- I am eating way too much and have put on weight- suprise, suprise- NOT

Chris glad the dr went well and verfied your concerns

Nana- such a good nana you are

Clara- hope you get a place soon

Linda- hope you have a wonderful time off

the thing with a restful vacation is how do you drop back into real life without just going back to what didn't work so well before you left? I have been spoiled at having dh with me for 10 days in a row- I don't think that has happened in several years.

This is what I shall ponder today. I love breakfast on the patio in the sun and for a while I can do that at home in the front with a view of the road. I love sitting in the afternoon sun and staring at the mts. but that won't happen as I don't get home till 6:30 or 7pm, and it is hot and humid. But I have decided that I will begin my reentry into "normal" life with a healthy diet and exercise- the rest will come- I am thinking of adding yoga, and more journaling to my weeks! Okay enough rambling- better go stir the bacon!
