The Loopy-O
CHEERY O
Hello, O-zies and happy Friday to you all.

I slept pretty darn good again last night and no odd dreams that I can remember. I told Gary about the (non)Benjamin Moore paint disaster dream and he cracked up. I've been wanting to redo my tiny bathroom so maybe that is where that is coming from?
LLMD visit was good-- for both of us. That's a first for Gary. She compared his symptoms to a year ago, and there is some sign of improvement. It's tiny and it could change on a dime, but for this very moment, we will take it.
I go back in 6 months, he goes back in 3.

I spent an hour or so finishing up the field trip prep for today. It is going to be a chaotic day but it should be a lot of fun. I am working with one of the newer PT people, the one who owns her own healing/yoga/Reiki business. I'm excited to see how she incorporates that into the field trip group. I'll have to remind her that this group is JW's and yoga is not accepted, so we can't do that. But breathing and sensory connections are okay. That's a good reminder for me, too.

I am still in such a scrap rut. I'm just.... not.
Maybe tomorrow.
Maybe the big ol' bear will come back to my yard and I can get a picture of him. I am assuming it's a him because he was **big.** My dogs were going wild in the morning and he had been traveling along the side of my yard, into the back, and then into the woods. Tom was working on his car last night in our driveway and saw the bear make the same trip through the yard. It would be cool to get a picture of that, maybe give me some inspiration for scrapping.

Hugs!

@vickyday I looooove the sunset photo, the way the sun makes the clouds glow is neat!
Hope that you and DD get that perfect cloudless sky shot before you head home.

@BrightEyes I am so glad that you are feeling a little better, hopefully the soreness will be gone very soon.

@AK_Tracy Do you have any "before" photos of the glacier? Looking fwd to seeing the ones from this hike too.
Have a wonderful visit with your mom!

@bcgal00 The kids' braceline line is going to be so much fun to create! Love the idea of the glow in the dark beads:)

My talk last night went just fine. I only wished that my voice didn't waver when I'm nervous. I'm sure it's from not breathing right, but once I get a few slides in it settled down.
Sing it, sister! That is exactly how I felt when I did the forest bathing walk. For me, I was able to get sort of settled down when I did the breathing meditations, but I still felt self-conscious and a little quivery.
I saved $120 anyway. Of course on the way home I stopped at Costco and spent $127. :floorlaugh:
What did I say the other day? Easy come, easy go! LOL!
I am going to see if I can find the brand of electrolytes the hiking group recommended. The ones I tried were orange or berry flavored... sweet and fruity. I have it written down somewhere, I'll share it with you asd soon as I figure it out.

love and hugs, my friends!

Glad you slept better last night!
I would love to see a picture of your bear strolling through your yard! (Glad it's your yard and not mine, BTW! ;) )

Good morning!
Getting ready to help my daughter get breakfast ready. They (the boys) had a great time fishing. She and GD had a great time shopping because the GD got to buy a hermit crab! ;)
Mark and I just chilled, got in the pool, went out to supper before the rest got back from their trip, and then went to capture the sunset. We barely got there before it dropped like a rock from the sky!
Today is cleaning up the leftovers and hanging out. Mark and I want to treat everyone to a nice dinner tonight. Tomorrow morning we all head north in our separate directions. Jessica and fam directly north to Ohio and Mark and I take an easterly route through Augusta GA (to miss Atlanta) home to NC. Sad how quickly it all ends!
AJ Week 3 is posted!
Probably won't post tomorrow as we hit the road early.
Have a great day!

Today is going to be another laid-back... do nothing day. The shoulder and foot are slowly improving but think it will take a few more days of mainly resting them. Of course, I had bought a personal watermelon on Tuesday so had to cut it up and put it into the fridge yesterday. Didn't help the shoulder any at all!!! Meals will be from the freezer and nuked for the next few days. :thud:

Our trails organization is trying to get a bridge built over a creek. Not a little seasonal creek, where we already have several bridges, but one that is big enough to be of concern to flood maps and environmental concerns and building permits. It's insanely expensive and taking forever, but this morning we had the official survey done, so progress, yay! I biked over to where they were working to get a couple pictures and thank them for braving the ticks and poison ivy. Then I was growled at by a dog, illegally off leash. I wish people would follow the rules and leash their dogs on the trails. I'm sure I startled him by coming around the bend on my bike, but that's why leashes are required.

My daughter and her family are finishing up their road trip/camping out on the west coast, so I'm getting a bunch of photos in from them. That will give me some to work with on challenges. The kids are so cute clambering among the redwoods and on the beach.

I took out some frozen shrimp for dinner, the end of one bag from the supermarket and a few from a new one from Costco. Some are pink and some are gray. So I thought, "are these cooked already?" but no, they both say raw. So I don't know, maybe the supermarket ones are colored to look more shrimpy?

LLMD visit was good-- for both of us. That's a first for Gary.
Good news! I hope the improvement continues.

My SIL worked on my computer today and it is ZIPPY FAST! I better be careful or this thing will get away from me!
@faerywings I meant to mention yesterday that we don't offer the woodpeckers a special suet. We buy the 1.19$ blocks at Tractor Supply. They have some seeds and berries in it. I think one time we got one heavy with bugs maybe but I don't remember they liked it better than any other.

Everything is good here, taking a few minutes to check in then heading to bed.
