Happy Friday the 13th! Happy Friday no matter *what* the number is! Sad to say that spring break is almost over. And yes, I still need a vacation. Eva??

Good news os that I get a mini-vacation this weekend. As soon as I get home from work today, kids and I and the puppy are off to my mom's house in PA. That means in 12 hours my a$$ is going to be planted on the sofa with a glass of wine in hand wheeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!
I wish that Gary could come with us too, but in some ways it is good for us to get a break from each other. I know he is as sick of me and my moping as I am of him cracking his ankles and complaining about his knees. Good thing we really do love each other!:clap2:
Thanks for the good thoughts on the drs appt. I posted on FB how messed up my auto-immune system is. I am testing high on ANA, Rheumatoid Arthritis and now Lupus. My auto-immune system is shot. She feels that the aches and pains and fatigue and all of the other crap is fibromyalgia as a result of all of the stresses, both biological and environmental on my body. The really, really good news is that she doesn't think the Lyme is active, but she is re-testing me for just about everything to be sure.
That thing that I thought was a icky bony growth is actually a tendon nodule. Whew! She said that cortisone can reduce the swelling and pain, but that also adds to the immune system freak-out, so doesn't recommend it at this point. I didn't ask her how esle to get it better for fear that she would say "stay off your feet." I am guess that would be her response, but i have to work today LOL
For Gary, we are going to try yet again to see if he can get covered for IV rocephin. It was the only thing that helped back in 2007 yet the ins co's won't cover it since he is not CDC positive for chronic lyme. So the bureaucratic fight begins again...... If we can even get one portion of this covered ( we need prescription, PICC line insertion and weekly nurse care for PICC maintenance) we're going to find a way to cover the rest of it ourselves. This poor guy simply cannot live like this.
Anyway, that's the ugly low-down on the dr. all for the very low price of $700 out of pocket..... :hurt:
TGIF?????
:faint:
Finish it Friday:
I plan on finishing that whole bottle of wine tonight! (JK!)
((maybe half...))
