Hello and Happy Weekend, my dears.
Who is ready for the day? I think I am. I have no choice in the matter honestly. The day is gonna keep coming at me whether I am ready or not. heh
I possibly had a successful day shopping yesterday. I was too drained when I got home to make an objective assessment. I am getting closer to being done. Hopefully, I won't have to do much more. Soon after I got back, my neighbor asked if I could make something for her- 7-8 times in the $5-10 dollar range. I am going to make some shower gel/guest soap bags today since she needs them before Tuesday. The coffee butter came out really nice! I have to say, better than I expected. I even wrote down notes so I remember what to do and change for next year. It is a little softer than the butter I purchase so I will knock down some of the candelilla wax and coconut oil and increase the cocoa butter ratios. And I will definitely double the recipe. It smells really amazing. I have to say, the process was much easier than I expected even if it was time-consuming. The next step is turning the butter into a finished product. Coffee scrubs and maybe a hand cream?
I have to work on that this morning because I am popping over to see my friend across the street this afternoon to catch up with some drinks. I probably won't be up for much after that hahahaha!
I am still mostly MIA from the party and I feel awful about that. There are still a few days left, right?
Have fun today!
