GOOOD MORNING
Some :tea: for all this morning!!!

FALL has arrived....yesterday I actually had to where SOCKS....UUGGHHHH!!! It was about 63 yesterday, but rainy..so it felt colder....today about 68..but sunny and windy... We are definately off to the pumpkin patch this morning...The whole bunch of us are going...so I am going to attempt some photos of all four kids today!! HAHAHA...you guys have seen those before...They don't usually cooperate for me too well...maybe I need this:whip: or :partywine

I am going to try and get a couple hours of house cleaning this morning before I go...so I better get my butt in gear...and MOVE IT!!!

I hope you all have a fabulous weekend.....mine will be full of kiddoes all weekend!!!

morning-it got much cooler here too Nana- I nearly froze in bed, had to getup and grab an extra blanket. Oh well and the farmer is beginning to harvest the field of corn that surrounds our house on 3 sides- that means- the mice are coming, the mice are coming- must get prepared today! And dance and scrap of course!

LOL Nana- I had to put on my terrorist hat (winter hat that I wear isnide when I am really cold). Gary put the heat on, but I hate to "waste" fuel. But dang it was cold here too- we have been down inthe 30's at night. :smow:

Good luck with the "adventure" with the kids. We are off to my SIL's for her b-day later today. I hope that gary can come with- he didn't get to sleep until 6 am. He is still sleeping now... so hopefully that will help.

I am still struggling with my computer. I think that there is some glitch with Firefox and streaming viidies- a lot of the websites, like news ones, that have video/ads seem to be part of why I am crashing. I switched over to IE8, but I haven't used IE in years and I am having a rough transition LOL

Gotta get some more :tea: and I will be back :)

Yay :tea:

(does it seem weird to anyone else that we type : tea : but we mean coffee? :D)

Good morning Laurie. I think you might need cats to keep the mice away.

Krista- I saw your Tweet about being published-- you rock! Have a great day!

Well...it's sounding cool everywhere else too...

Chris...I know this is like FREEZING to you!!!! LOL about the Terrorist Hat!!!! I have that picture in my head!!! :laser:

Sorry you are still having such a hard time with the computer!! That stinks....I don't use FireFox or IE....I use MSN.....I totally love it....I never have to worry about losing favorites or settings...as they stay with MSN instead of the computer....The only thing that I have issue with, and have to open FireFox occasionally...is sometimes when there are freebie downloads on 4shared....I can't get them...like usually the CopyCat template. I have used MSN as my browser for YEARS....we are Verizon Internet and when we signed up with them, they were offering MSN for free....and we are grandfathered in on that as long as we stay with Verizon. That reminds me of something funny.....Before we went with Verizon....we had AOL...HAHA..I know!! Mike HATED that we had to give it up because it had a game called SLINGO!! HE WAS SO FREAKING ADDICTED!!!!

I managed to get some cleaning done...YAY....so after I get home I don't have quite so much to do....MOP THE FLOORS and Vacuum!!!

Laurie....THE MICE............ACCCKKK!! My first husband and I lived in a house for a year that had that same thing...right beside a wheat field...when they cut it........the mice came running!! GOOOOOD LUCK!!

Linda S....I WOULD LOVE LOVE LOVE to see that photo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YOU SIMPLY MUST SCRAP IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

HAVE A GOOD DAY KRISTA!!!!!!!!!!!!

Meg...... (((((((((HUGS))))))))) I hear you on the insomnia!!! I so feel for you cause I deal with this all the time!!! Glad to hear you don't have to fix the car!!

HI TRUDY, VICKI AND SALLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

From yesterday:

Linda S- do it!! Would love to see Syd as Dorothy!

Sally- I am jumping up and down for you (at least onthe inside) Yay that YMG is hooooome!! Good luck today, I know you are going to sell like crazy!!!!!

Meg- I'll take the diagnostic fee over the repair fee any day too! whew!!

Trudy- how was your hike? Did you bring your camera? I was driving the other day and wished I could pull over and shoot some pics of the trees. However, driving on the highway in NJ at rush hour- if I puilled off, I'd never get back in LOL
Hope that you had a perfect day.

Vicki- love seeing you here in the Ooo's even if you are asleep

Meg- When we were first married, i coudln't sleep if hubby wasn't home. Now that i am older, I sleep better when he isn't in bed (ie sleeps upstairs) Go figure.

Nana- I knew you'd appreciate that story. I Love moms and dd's and grandmas and all that good stuff.
Halloween is so much fun!!! One year I dressed Scott as Mickey/Socerers Apprentice and I was the "Broom" Another year he was Anaklin and I was Shmi (his mom). I miss getting dressed up with the kids. LOL

Hi Laurie, Krista and Kat!! ::grouphug

Love to everyone, have a great day!

Hi nana! We are posting at the same time.
I should dig up my "hobo couture LO so the newer O_fam knows whati am talking about. I don't want anyone thinking I am a real terrorist.

Also- bear with my everyone, I used to have an automatic spell check in FF, but I have to find one for IE. I am a terrible typist, so you are going to see lots ond lots of typos for a while.

blerg! Why isn't there an "Copy Image Location" in IE??
here is the LO:

hobo-couture.jpg

I used to wear a grey hat that my kids called the terrorist hat. Said I looked like a terrorist when I wore it. Then my mom got me this white one, the "Anti-Terrorist Terrorist Hat." My BFF got me microwaveable earmuff and scarf set so i would look nice while staying warm LOL

Nana Linda -- Have fun at the pumpkin patch!!! May the kids cooperate and not fight over pumpkins, lol.

Krista -- See you later!!!

Laurie -- Uh oh, I hope you're prepared!!! We're near peach orchards. This time of year, the whole NE chunk of the city takes on a fermented peach smell from the fruit left to rot.

Chris -- I'll take your cold weather!!!! It was 95 yesterday, 86 today. I'm the same, I rather bundle up to be warm than have the heat on.
As far as the browsers go, have you make sure that the current version of flash is installed for firefox? maybe reinstall it just in case.

LOL TERRORIST HAT? Ok, that's pretty funny!!!! Great LO!!!

Well, today is going to be busy!!! Last night I finished writing my TOU, and saving the elements for my second kit... just need to finish extracting the word art. So, I'm going to finish bundling up my first three kits today. I didn't realize that the zip program that comes with Mac doesn't really compress the files at all, so I found another free one that compresses them slightly.
So, I'm going to start getting my listings ready so I just have to enable them on opening day :) So far I have three full kits, plus the Nov store collab, and a QP for charity. If I do really well today, I'd like to get a fourth kit done.

Other than that, I'm definitely going to try and keep my lead with Amanda's contest! I'm slightly paranoid that someone is hoarding all of their LOs to upload last minute, so I need to try and keep a 12-LO lead over everyone. I need to do an album for our honeymoon anyways!

Oh Chris. Love that hat!

Back between soccer games for a little bit. It was 50 degrees at game time but very sunny and no wind. I had on sweats and, although a little cool, I actually loved it. (ducking for cover as I say that)

Now two more soccer games and a gymnastics open house and then I'm free for the evening. :-)

Good morning guys!! Guess where I am writing from!!! Yep Leavenworth, Washington. It is soooooooooooo pretty here. I love it. It is a Bavarian town nestled in the mountains. I'm sure my camera will be uploading pics before long.

Ugh!! So, I am soooooooo frustrated with DSA right now. I don't know how many of you are participating in the BOTCT challenge but i am with Daybreak scraps. Anyway, one of our team members could not get her LO uploaded due to the system being overwhelmed. we could get on the site but the uploading process crashed several times when I was uploading. It took me 1/2 hour to upload. Anyway, they don't care. Our team member spent as much time as she could but then had to go and pick up her kid or something like that. So, I am currently messaging back and forth with them but it looks like because they were bebopping around the site and had no problems. It was just uploading that was an issue. I understand rules and stuff but there are going to be a few probs the first week it seems like some leniancy could be appropriate with a disclaimer the next week saying...now you know uploading is a PITA - Plan for it from this moment on. Ya know? I do get deadlines but come on now. that site was not used to that kind of traffic and it was uploading where it was having issues. Grrrr!!

Anyway, I am hoping to come back later but right now I am going across the street to a bakery to get some pastry and some real coffee. Good coffee? I haven't had much of that in a few months. Today we are going to eat yummy German food and play in town. Yay!!

Keep us posted on your kits and where they will be and all that. Let us know when you start posting will you?

Clara -- Thank you :) I'm going to PM you the preview for my freebie I'm releasing when I make the announcement on Oct. 25th, and open Oct. 28th.
I'm keeping things quiet for now, just because something could always go wrong & I'll have to delay, lol!
Have fun in Washington!!

Hey girlies!!!

I'm home from the show...completely exhausted! That's really because Cora and I aren't really used to getting up before 9!! LOL!! And maybe because I didn't really sleep last night with all of the things swirling in my head...
but...
It was a good day! I got about 4x the money I put into the show (not including the paypal virtual terminal I set up last night so I could take CCs today at the show...), so I'm totally excited! It was a very, very small show and mainly only people at the church showed up. I was a little perplexed at the people who packed up their booths early...that really irritates me, but it became a show-wide phenomena, so I, too, packed up before it was over. Weird to me, but if there is no more business, I guess going home is a better alternative.

I was also intrigued that no one wanted to buy Christmas tags...I guess they were a bit hidden. If you wanna see my slightly blurry cellphone pic of my booth (or most of it, I should say...), go here on FB: sally's slightly blurry cellphone pic of her booth
I did sell advent calendars, camera strap covers, pillows, and an ornament. I also accomplished my goal of getting people to sign up for my newsletter. That was exciting! They (proverbial they) say people have to have something in front of them 7 times before they will act on it. So newsletter, twitter, and fb, here I come!! LOL!!!

On to the next show...on to making more baby items (big mom's show) and more Christmas thingies. I am also going to spend Monday taking pics and putting my stuff on Etsy so I can sell things a bit faster. I need to take more orders for advent calendars now so I can get them made and sent out before Dec. 1st!! (yes, Krista and Clara, yours are first!! :))

All in all, I'm super excited about my business and that's what counts, right?? AND now Mr Gorgeous is home, life is good!! really really good!! :)

I think i'm gonna go take a nap before we go and eat great Mexican food...YUMMMMMM!

LOVE you ALL!!!

Laurie -- Uh oh, I hope you're prepared!!! We're near peach orchards. This time of year, the whole NE chunk of the city takes on a fermented peach smell from the fruit left to rot.

I'm working on being prepared- and right now to celebrate my walking and dance practice- I am enjoying peach wine and going through amanda's designer spotlight gallery!:partywine

Pumpkin patch....CRAZY....did get some cute photos!!! We got there much later than anticipated so the lines for things were crazy!!! The kids did great though....the little kids that is....the big kids, as in Sharon and Traci...just about drove me nuts.....I think they were both a little PMSing...HAHAHA!!! Had to break out the :whip: and now I am having that :partywine

Sally -- Congrats on the success!!!! So you have a show coming up for mom's? That'll probably be a bigger hit than the church one!

Laurie -- WHERE DID YOU GET THE PEACH WINE??? Sorry for the shouting -- but I'm allergic to anything grape, so I drink other fruit wines. I've never ever ever come across a peach one, mostly berry ones.

Nana Linda -- Yay you at least got the photos!!!!

Well ladies -- so far today I've accomplished compressing and backing up all of my kits, uploaded all of them to the shop I'm going to be selling at... I just need to make the listings for two more of them, well, four because I'm also selling the paper packs. I got the listings for one kit and paper pack done, and I was already sick of Zen cart.

Now I'm going to scrap a few pages to keep my lead in Amanda's challenge and sprinkle some loves across the gallery! Lol, I really really like winning AND being competitive...

Hi my darlings! It is pretty early on a Sunday morning. The doggies had me up at 6:30. It looks like it is going to be a gorgeous day. I am not sure what i am doing yet. Gary invited friends of ours up today. I really wanted to work on steam cleaning the rugs today but that looks like it isn't going to happen. :(

The other thing I wanted to do was scrap...... but I don't know about that either.
The dogs want to go to the dog park.... they told me so......
And I have a really busy week coming up, wah!!!

What i do know if that Gary is going to be all up in arms that Fox/Cablevision haven't made a deal yet and the NY Giants Game is going to be blacked out. He was all ready to sign up for satellite TV yesterday.*eye roll*

But its all good. :D

Going to see if I can run through personals-- you have been so busy!

Meg- congrats on the store!! Can you pm me the previews too?? If you can't no prob- but I would love to see them.

Nana Linda- hahahah at your "big kids" Cannot wait to see the pages of the kids and punkins!

Laurie- good for you- what a great w/o!

Sally - congrats on the show! I know I don't get the early pack up too. I have been to some shows where you were not allowed to pack up until the closing time and a few people that tired- they were yelled at by the people running the show. I kind of see both side. if no one is coming in, that last hour really draaaaagsssss... but It makes the show look very unprofessional IMHO when you see the vendors scrambling to get out.
Have fun prepping for the next show! I am signing up to do a Christmas show on Dec 4th in town.

Clara- you sound like you are having a great time being back home!Enjoy your coffee! The issues at DSA must be a PITA. Hopefully they will address it ir no one is going to bother the next time around.

Off for my coffee for me! Anyone need a cup?
Have a great day! xoxoxo

Good morning ladies!! :) For those of you working on the October posting challenge ... I have posted an updated "Where we are at" post in the thread!! :) I have a LONG LONG LONG way to go :hurt:

Today is laundry day!! Towels, bedding, jeans :) All the stuff that takes up too much space and too much time to dry here at home ... Peter is going to get groceries ... and then possibly I'm going to get my hair done this afternoon ... cause .... I need to get rid of the GREY .... UGH ... can not stand it!!

Other than that .. I'm scrapping .... posting ... commenting ... living the dream :)

Good morning ladies! I got lost in the gallery this morning! And boy was it wonderful! Think I need to do some scrapping now!

Chris -- Thanks!!!! Check your inbox :)

Krista -- Oh boy, massive laundry day!!! Good luck managing :)

Linda -- Have fun scrapping!!! I can't wait to see!

I got most of my to-do list done yesterday, just a few lose ends. Today I need to prep for our trip, we leave tuesday am as soon as the hubs gets home from work. I'll be driving the first six hours to Redding while he sleeps.

I'm hoping I can hold it together for this trip, I've never driven that far all at once before. I've ridden much longer than that plenty of times, of course. The last time I drove any extended distance was almost a year ago when I had to do some stuff at the California School for the Deaf. On the way there, a truck was engulfed in flames on Pacheco Pass and only one other car stopped. It was a crazy night.... I just hope there wont be any craziness on I-5!!

Plans are to drive all in one day -- bleghhhhhhh... not too happy about it!

morning all - getting ready to head to church and the dreaded grocery store after! Need too many foods and dh is getting ready for a busy work week- today is his bday, so i may buy a mini cake for us to enjoy- don't need a huge one for the two of us- I will go for a walk later too!

I just scrapped 4 layouts for a CT requirement :) WOOT!!! Now it's time to go and shower!! And then laundry!! :) I will be BACK!!

Good morning ladies of the "O".... my gosh you have all had busy weekends!!! Last night we had a date night and went to dinner and a movie. We watched the Disney Movie Secretariat... It was awesome!!! I highly recommend it to you all. A really good feel good movie!! Done in Disney high style of course. Oh yea, supper was pretty good too!! Today we are off to Skutz Falls for another hike and to see the salmon run (spawn). I have not been to Skutz Falls for many, many years so it will be great to see if things have changed much.

Meg - you have been so busy getting all those layouts done for Amanda's challenge, you surely must be in first place! Good for you! Looking forward to seeing your kits!

Nana Linda - Glad your day at the pumpkin patch was good, pictures please!!

Krista - have fun with the :washing: and the rest of your housework (yuk) scrapping sounds like a much better plan to me.

Sally - Wow your booth at your craft fair looked awesome, so glad that you did well at it! I am sure your next one will be even better!!

Laurie - Thanks for the love on my LO's it was all very theraputic for me, I love to journal and sometimes wonder why we don't do more of it??

Chris - Ha, Ha, Love your terrorist hat!! But I really love the improved look much better, Looking good girlie!!!! BTW did you try the angel biscuits??

Linda S - Watching for your new LO's can't wait to see them!!

If I have forgotten anyone, I'm :sorry: hope your Sunday is a great one!!

CLARA!!!!! How could I have forgotten you??? Welcome back to the West Coast, wish you were a little bit closer, we could have a visit. But it takes almost a half a day just to get off of this Island!! sorry you are having issues with your CT site, hope things improve for you soon!! Enjoy your time home!!
