Hi ladies!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I slept in a bit this morning...til almost 8!!!

So what is on the agenda this weekend??????????????

Me....well...I am off today to get my 1001 errands run, which include buying TWO birthday presents!!! My little Jesse turns 3 yo on Monday!!! I can not believe it!!! I know you girlies hate it....but we are doing Chuck E Cheese tomorrow!! I think it is a great place....I play too!!!! Now I get a little frazzled the more crowded it gets...but we are going as early as possible....so hoping we will miss some of the crowd!!

I went last night!!! IT WAS AN ABSOLUTE BLAST!!!!!!!!!!!! Our hostess could not make it...so Kat and I jumped in and pulled some stuff out of the air and ended up having a GREAT time!!!!!!!!!! KAT YOU ROCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I know if you show up you will have fun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was so hoping to make it this morning at 10am EST....but I have to meet my Aunt at 11 am....so I will be leaving shortly after 10....but you girls have fun!! and I am pretty sure I will be there Sunday night at 10pm EST!!

WEll...I gotta run...I am going to finish my coffee and get my self in gear!!! TONS to do today!!!

I sooo wanted to be there last night! Had a bad internet problem. I've got it to where I can get online now but nobody else in the house can, ugh....poor Amanda doesn't know what to do with herself! She's going to the library today with her laptop LOL.

I'm really excited about today's chat....very sleep though hahaaha. I can't wait to chat with everyone!!! I plan to be there Sunday night as well, DS is supposed to come try to figure out my problem tomorrow morning....cross your fingers everyone that we get it lined out!!!

Dawn - How is your internet going now? Any better? Great chat today so sorry I couldn't stay long...I was burning the meatalls :) Not a good thing with an Italian hubby *LOL* Must watch Meatballs! :)

So house renovations are still underway.....I am sweating because they think they did actually find a roof leak even after the roofer said everything was good :( UGH!!! All I can see is $$$$$$$. Have to have a roof.....but really...so close to the Holidays :( Bummer for me. Fingers crossed it's just old damaged that was repaired.

Other then that nothing planned today! Last night I scrapped a gazillion layouts....I went folder by folder through my "O" stash and just scrapped whatever I felt :) That was soooo much fun that I think I am going to do it again tonight :)

Ohhhh Kat!! I'm gonna scrap like that this morning!! how fun!!!

we are enjoying my MIL's brothers and one sisterinlaw here this weekend. We had a wonderful meal of chicken curry last night at my inlaws...yummmm....and tonight, dad's bringing over his brisket that he's been smoking all night!! why is food always the central thing with family get togethers????

Hey everybody! The chat last night was fun, but they always are. My Genevieve decided to hop out of bed again as soon as I was done, and she wouldn't go to sleel until after midnight, blah! That's one of the things the therapists are concerned about, is her sleep patterns. We've heard several times that there are prescription meds that can be given to kids to help them sleep, but I've always held out because it creeps me out to give a sleeping pill to my 3 year old.

Anyway, I got up this morning, showered, and slipped right into some comfy sweats. LOL. I'm not even going to put on "going outside" clothes today. So far I've been parked right here! I bought some actions from Sarah Cornish, she's got a 50% off sale today! Woot! And she's added a lot of actions that work in PSE, so we'll see how that goes. Plus I got my GC for trivia last night, $2 at Kathryn Wilson's store!!! Yeee haw!

Dawn, I certainly hope you are up and running today. I went over to SA and looked into that deal you mentioned, and before I knew what happened, my naughty hands had purchased it... *sigh* See what happens when poor people get money? LOL. I got my pell grant money awhile back, and I should be saving it but... well. It's iNDSD!

Linda S- MWAH from a safe distance! I hope you are feeling better!

Kat and Linda W- thanks for a super fun chat last night! I think that's the only one I'm going to be able to make it to all weekend, and you guys made it awesome!

Sally- I have a feeling that you are an AWESOME hostess! Don't you guys think so? I bet she makes everybody super comfortable, happy and well fed. Have fun this weekend!

And I'm off to make some photos awesome and then scrap with them!

My internet is working....just the router is not so Amanda can't get on....makes for a very bored girl! (I sure hate when it's down LOL)
 
I'm so disappointed that I missed chatting last night! I had MAJOR laptop issues last night and was up until midnight trying to get those resolved. I'm glad to hear you gals had fun though. I have to say DSD has been a bummer for me, first computer issues last night and today I've had a horrible stomach ache all day and haven't been up to being on the computer at all. I'm hoping tomorrow will be a much better day and hopefully I'll be able to catch the chat tomorrow night. And I still want to do some shopping!
 
You get access for a whole yr to downloads and tuts. I figured what the heck I'd give it a try :). I mean since I have so much more free time for the time being I might as well do some learning LOL.
 
It has been quiet here today. Guess everyone is scrapping! hehe

I had to play Monopoly with 2 10-yr olds, so my scrapping time was very little. I did manage to spend my GCs and unzip & oooh and aahh over them though ;-)

And that is why I stick with one site. I no longer site hop much...except for templates. I am a bit of a tempate addict...but I use them all the time and then procede to completely maul and destroy them but still.

You know I have asked you guys to keep good thoughts and prayers for Traci and finding a place to live she can afford............

Well, thanks to everyone.....she has FINALLY after two years....found a place.....It's small, but it's cozy and it's a place she and her children can call home. On her disability, she just can't afford much...and this place is actually rent to own....everything she pays goes right to the purchase of this place!! So all of my extra dollars have gone to helping her with the down payment....She will be about 30 minutes from me...but that's no big deal....I am just happy she will have a place of her own.

Well....I was on a mad run yesterday....I had so many things to do....I still haven't caught up with myself yet...hehehe!! We have Jesse's B-day party today...YAY!!! and then we come home to CLEAN...BOO!! We have a lot of work to do around here...raking, our deck canopy has to be taken down, and all that DE CLUTTERING I was doing a few weeks back...cluttered itself into my den...so all of that is leaving today!!

Okay girls....

Dawn....I hate you are having such computer problems....you have had these before haven't you?? I hope they get it all fixed up for ya!!! Poor Amanda!!! seems NONE of us can live without internet!!!!!!!!!! UGGGHHH!!!
Have fun with your new tuts...I know you will put them to use....you have been such a MACHINE lately!! I LOVE IT!!!

Kat.......I hear ya on those $$$ and rennovations!!! we have done it all around here...we need to remodel our upstairs bathroom...it's in aweful shape....we have lived here for over 19 years, that bathroom was the first thing we fixed up...LOL...but now it needs a COMPLETE overhaul....but we have put on a roof, windows, doors, remodeled the downstairs (built in the unfinished part of the basement) made a half bath into a full one, complete remodel of our kitchen, add walls..I could go on and on.....a house eat $$$ like crazy!!! YOUR SCRAPPING SOUNDS LIKE FUN!!!!!!!!!!!

Andrea.....I would probably be fearful of giving her meds to make her sleep...I had these problems with Traci....she never slept....EVER...but now we know why....Bipolar....but back then they didn't think children could be bipolar....((((HUGS)))) to you sweetie....I know how difficult it is...seriously we would go nights without ANY sleep at all!! LOL about the purchase at SA!!!! I have done this before!!!

ELISA!!!!!!!!!! So how much did you spend...sssshhhhh...we won't tell anyone else...LOL!!!!!!!!!! Monopoly sounds like fun!!! I love to play games....and I love to play games with kids!!! My all time fav is TROUBLE!!!!! I love that little popper!!! I can remember playing Monopoly when I was kid all the time....My brother was always the banker...hmmmm...I always lost too!!!!!!!!

WOW - this turned into an interesting weekend. I started yesterday morning cleaning the basement - we have a yuky basement, not one that you'ld use for living space. We hauled an extra washer and dryer down to get them out of the garage. DD3 and I started moving furniture upstairs into the two new rooms that we just finished. Wow - did we find some "treasures". Hubby was tearing the old deck off the house and planning to build the new one in its place........ About half way through getting the new rooms set up hubby yells up the stairs and says, hey - change of detail, I need you two. We go out side to find that he's got the old deck torn off the house and most of that part of the house is not sitting on any foundation at all. As much as 6 to 8 inches of air in some places for about 15 feet along the side of the house. There is just dirt crawl space under this part of the house. So we did a bunch of dirt moving - thank heavens for the back hoe! and formed everything up to pour concrete today. As always with this remodel project - the prior owner made a lot of quick cosmetic fixes to sell the house and as we begin each project it usually turns into at least three more. So, so much for my shopping on DSD :) Today we'll pour the concrete and then rebuild the deck next week sometime I guess after the concrete cures. OUr floor should be much much warmer this winter since there won't be a giant open air space under the house!

Oh girls...I've missed you! Thanks for all of the good wishes. I'm feeling much better today! My warning...do NOT get H1N1! And if you get it, and then they put you on an antibiotic to prevent pneumonia...do NOT have an allergic reaction to the antibiotic.

So special thanks to Linda W and Kat who stepped in and covered for me with the chat on Friday night! I'm sure that everyone had a great time.

Now Linda W...I'm with you on Chuckee Cheese. I love it! We often do family birthdays there. We did mine there last year. The kids love it...and I love what the kids love! Today is my niece's birthday (10) and next Saturday is Shaun's birthday (7). There is a new place in town that is similar to Chuckee Cheese but also has bumper cars, go-karts and miniature golf. I wanted to do a combined birthday party there. But after having this flu, I'm scared to take Mom & Dad into anyplace where they might get exposed. So I don't know...we'll see!

Linda P- every time you post it seems like you are still working on the un-ending home projects. You should be like me and just ignore them all. :( I hate to admit that my small bathroom is still not finished being painted after I tried to paint it when 33 weeks pg with Cait :oops:

Clara- eye popping hugs to you. So proud of you for starting the Veterans "thing" - It also gave me the psuh to pop over on my friend's FB page to see if he had been deployed yet. We knew it was going to be around Oct- and yup- he left 2 weeks ago. This is one of Gary's best/oldest friends. Third tour. :(
He was stationed at Ft Hood for years too....... and that news has me so sad. I don't understand life any more..... not that I ever did.... but all of this just makes me deeply upset.

OK- to sheer us up- how about some Life of Brian??

morning everyone...iknow you are shocked to see me on a sunday morning...but alas, i'm sick! I've been pushing through it all week, and today i got up and decided today would be my day to just stay in bed all day!! I don't have a full fever or too much congestion yet...my head is just packed full of mess though (my ears are soooo ringing!!) and i've got the chills (low grade land! ugh!!). So...I'm skippping church *you know i'm sick!!* We also had to bag my sweet sil's bday get together at my mom's this afternoon. that was the saddest thing!! I'm still trying to figure out if i can get up for a makeup class for cora's show. if i feel like this at all, then the answer is no!

So, this isn't nearly as bad as the Lindas have had, because i can be on the puter!!! love laptops that allow you to stay in bed!! yay!! I also kept quentin home from church cause he is congested and he is the most suseptible of all of my kiddos of his sickness getting worse!! He doesn't have a fever though so he's taking care of me...it's sooooo sweet!! He's got the NFL channel on in my room and he just brought me "breakfast" (a fiber fit bar and sparkling water! heehee) without me prompting him!! what a dear one!! So he and i will enjoy some NFL all day in my room!! love that!

Sooooo, the chat is tonight...(the real reason why i'm resting all day is to be ready for the fun and frolicking time we will have!! :) ) I'm getting my fingers all ready for it!! heehee!! Hope everyone has their O trivia going!!!

Good morning all! I am also still in bed. I'm listen to Addie probably doing something she shouldn't although I don't know what it is. Then D and E are watch Transformers downstairs and it is very loud I just hear all the crashing of machines. It is actually kind of fun to hear. When I finally get out of bed I am going to lunch with some frineds then to Costco to pick up some poster prints for Derek's Birthday, then Ethan and I are off to the dollar store to get shoebox stuff for Operation Christmas Child. We'll wrap the boxes this week. I'm trying to pland Christmas presents for everyone that are not too expensive. I really want to get my family bamboo towel sets for Christmas but they are expensive. Any suggestions where to get them cheaper??? I'd like to get the 100% ones instead of the blended ones. I also have to make an ice cream pie for my hubby's bday tomorrow.

I'm going to love in reverse today...

Sally - get better. Q too. I'm glad he's not too sick and is hanging out with his mama and getting you "breakfast." That stinks you had to miss out on stuff but I'm glad you can still hang out on the computer.

Chris - That stinks that you have a friend who is deployed. feel free to provide me with his info so he can be honored too. That Ft. Hood stuff is upsetting. I agree. I don't know much about it because I choose to not watch the news and stay as ignorant as possible of current events. I know that is horrible but I just can't deal. Everytime I turn on the news I end up in tears and all upset and I hate it so I just don't watch anything worthwhile. I hate that and I hate not knowng what is going on and not being able to participate in conversations with people and have an opinion with any substance but I just can't do it. I'm glad you enjoyed your time away but I missed you!!!!

Linda W & Linda S - You guys are just crazy. How do you enjoy CEC?? Screaming kids that run around and around. The first time Ethan ever said NO to me was there. And LindaS you spend your birthday there?? Seriously?? Really? No really? I just have no words or understanding for that.

LindaW - Yay for Traci. I am so happy for her for finding a place. That is so awesome. That has to be so hard for you to want something so badly for her but having limits on what y ou can do for her knowing she has to help herself first and then you can step in and help after and then still only on her terms which may not be the best way but the way she needs. But good for you for doing whatever you can for her whenever you can and good for her for doing everything she can for herself. I am so glad things are coming together for her. Good luck with your house.

LindaS - holy crap! No H1N1!! That sure stinks!! I am glad you are finally feeling better. Get some rest so that you can not get any of the rest of the crud going around.

LindaP - Holy CRAP!!! No foundation?? How do you build a house w/o a foundation? That is insane. Wow!! Well, hopefully your heating bill will go down a little this year. I was so hoping you found an old book of stamps or something that would pay for all your remodeling or something. Wouldn't that be something?? LOL!!

Elisa and Dawn - I hope you didn't break the bank on DSD sales. LOL

Okay...I have to hide from a monster. Addie is scared of them i guess. Oh, it was the cat, not a monster. So we are playing a game with Addie's puppakes (silicone cupcake liners). LOL!!
 
Whew.....So it's good afternoon from me!!! hahahahah it's 3pm here!!! I have been so busy all day posting all my scrapping from yesterday Hahahahaha and checking out the forums etc....

So today as you can obviously tell is a lazy day in our house. Hubby is watching NFL - he's sick now :( , Nick is in my room trying to stay away from sick Daddy playing some playstation and I am scrapping away......I have a real scrapping bug! I don't know if I was in withdrawl from almost a month away or if I am sooooo inspired by all the DSD goodies?? I think a little of both :)

Yes...it is so hard to be still...but sometimes you need it :) I think you should scrap about the necessity of "Being still" ;) (I know I am such an enabler.....hahahahaha)

So today was simply gorgeous & the last day with my cousins this weekend. So we spent most of the afternoon at the park getting new pictures. Savanna was so happy that she had a brave moment, (amongst some chicken moments, lol), when she went out on this big log out in the water, so she kept talking about it when we were leaving and telling about how she'll write about it at school. And I got a few of them with their older sister together so hopefully I'll have a nice one of the 3 of them to give to their mom for Christmas this year! It was just gorgeous today and I loved being out with them this weekend.

Now off to scrap some old pictures till I feel like driving back to town for my card reader to scrap my new ones ;-)

Glad you ladies are getting some time to create. Hopefully not everyone is sick here. I'm hoping it skips me this year, (normally I only get sick sick about once a year, and that's normally in the spring, so I'm hoping).

Anyway, off to see what trouble I can make or what pages I can create :D
