That's Joy!!!!!! I was just telling one of my designer friends that if I ever moved away from the Sierras or Cascades, my heart would break. Those mountains give me so much Joy. So would Jeff's, because he'd have no where to take me to "fix" me when I'm having an epic breakdown!

True story. About a year ago before I decided to leave my grad program, I couldn't stop crying no matter what because of the stress. Jeff shoved me in the car and drove to Yosemite. At a gas station in Oakhurst the tears began to let up!

So this next week, we're going back to celebrate the best decision we ever made because of that trip -- to pursue my true passion, graphic design! A pretty huge jump from being a parent/infant specialist for deaf and hard of hearing children.

I guess I'm sharing because I know there's tons of huge major things going on in each of our lives right now. Take a leap of faith, pursue joy, and embrace the change!

morning - I'll take a cup of that change today- it is my day off and I have a lot of mental and physical work to do.
 
Oh man, I am so thrilled you liked my post! I love being able to share stuff like that with all of you. And thank you for sharing your story- how exciting to go back to celebrate!!! The world around us is so amazing. We have to take that extra minute to look at it with our hearts. <3
I can't imagine living out by you with those magnificent mountains- our dinky mts would shrivel in shame LOL Even just seeing them in movie scenes takes my breath away.

Ya for Thursday! I am glad I made it through yesterday. Shoprite was horrible- i had ot wait on line for a half hour. I don't know if it is the weather (we are supposed to be getting **snow** tomorrow- 2-7 inches, stock up on that toilet paper and milk!!! /snark) It was also Day 4 of my Tindamax week. I had to take a nap after lunch I felt so horrible. Today is the last day of this cycle, and I have to keep telling myself- it is helping, it really is.

Linda S- how nice to see haoyi again. How was dinner? Do the kids remember her well? I love starting and posting in the Ooo's! It is a really special part of my morning.

ME- did you get your Birth date scheduled? It is so exciting!!

Nana- I can't imagine how thrilled you are to have mom back home!! But take this as a sign that you need to take care of yourself as well. Did you make your appt yet? Hope that you are feeling much much better. And get to the DR IF YOU ARE NOT!! (yes, i am shouting at you!)

Kayleigh- heres hoping that soon you will be able to change your belly avi to a baby avi! Do you have a name picked out yet?

Clara- how did your big guy get off to the airplane? do they let you go to the gate with him, or only to the checkpoint?

Good morning lovely ladies! Hope everyone is having a great day so far. :) Mine started with contractions, and I have a doctors appointment today so hopefully that will bring good news!

Chris - yes! I agree! I would like to be able to show off baby pictures instead of belly ones :) her name which was originally "Kaylyn Isabella" but I woke up from a dead sleep 2 nights ago and woke the hubby up and told him her name is now "Kaylyn Isabella Marie" don't ask me why, I just got the urge.

So Cynthia just never came back? :(

ugh super tired
so far today i have been to the post office the bank...got a few groceries...paid bills...got some lunch-taco bell- came home ate...did about 4 loads of laundry today got one last load in the dryer and one in the wash....so once i finish up those im done for the day....did the dishes...took out the trash...filed a BUNCH of crap and when i say a bunch i mean it took me like a HOUR just to file away papers and stuff that i just had piling up on my computer desk LOL....
 
Good evening ladies! I agree with Meg...love Chris' joy post!! Dinner with Haoyi was fun! And, as some of you know, things were pretty strained by the end of her high school year with us. In retrospect...kind of typical high school stuff! But, when she came home back to the US to go to school this fall, she called me and apologized for the stuff that had gone on. She said that she realized that she wasn't nearly as grown up as she thought. So it has been good talking to her this fall. And it was great to see her last night. I bet that 3 or 4 times last night, she would give be talking about something she was doing and she would say, "You taught me that Mommy. Remember how you told me..." That made me feel really good! And the kids loved seeing her!!!
 
Lalalalalala... ignoring Clara right now.... she's going to be telling me what's happening on Grey's Anatomy before it's on over here on the Pacific coast.....

I got an email asking me to be featured in an online digiscrap magazine as a new designer to watch this year, totally psyched!!!!
 
Hi guys!! It is technically tomorrow. I am getting really bad about staying up late again. I need to work on that. I am working on a page that is just not coming together. I hate that. Well, I am going to put it aside, say hi real quick and head out.

Chris - Ethan got off great.

I did not like how they handled ethan at the gate. the guy who took him was more worried about efficiency than in the fact he was taking my child from me and it freaked me out. My sister kept calling and texting thinking I was so upset and all this stuff but I really wasn't. I know I'll miss him but I'm excited for him and happy he gets to go to Seattle for awhile. When he gets back it is time to start working on getting ready for school. he will start soon after he gets back. I'm not loving the principal but I understand why I don't like her for the moment. I just have to get him enrolled now.

We have heat upstairs...but then it wouldn't turn off. It went from 60 to 85 in about an hour or so. We'll see how that goes. I hate renting a house especially know that someone is living in my house. Then today we had major issue with the person who is supposed to be showing it. She was being lame so we fired her without her really knowing it. It is all good though. Hopefully I will get news that we have a renter very soon. I have someone filling out a app and stuff and is very interested from hawaii so we'll see how that goes. Wish us luck.
