Coffeeeeee coffeeeeee! Who has the coffeeeee?????
Oh, so tired this morning. Who knew clothes shopping would be so exhausting? I went to Kohl's- I saved $214! Spent $148 and got a ton of stuff for Scott and Gary. But I walked around that store a million times, lugging the bag cuz there weren't any carts. Dang, that was a workout!
Today I am celebrating Earth Day- one of my favorite days! I am all ready for the roadside clean-up that we do every year, my mom bought Avatar for us, Green Day/Earth Day is taping on FuseTV from 11 am to 7 pm-- and I get to play in the dirt at MIL's today. What a great way to celebrate

Laurie- IWYM- I have a hard time going into groups like that on my own too- I am very shy, or maybe its more that I get intimidated by groups of people who know each other and I don't. One on one I am ok.
But I have to tell you- my mom is pretty reclusive and not good in new groups. She signed up for 2 free classes through her local library- one was photography, the other scrapbooking (yay mom!) and she really liked them. She didn't get much out of the classes themselves but she was really proud to get out of the house on her own. If she can do it- I am sure you can too.
That said- if your heart isn't in it, there is no reason to push yourself- a night home scrapping is something just was the dr. ordered
Trudy- welcome back- I can see why you would have mixed feeling about being back home. I bet you have lots of pics to scrap of your babies!
Sally- is there any day you don't love? (Besides when YMG goes to CA?)
LOL at your dress shopping- all I know if you look gorgeous in your avi- so something is working right for ya!!! What are swirled peas???
LS- hope that your dr can give you good news- try not to worry tho! hugs~~
OT: I can hear my dog hiccuping in her sleep right now LOLOL!!

WOW it's so gorgeous today!!!
I played hookie from here yesterday....I cheated and tweeted, emailed and facebooked all day!! LOL!!! I popped in a couple of times to see what was going on though!!
Okay...you guys all use photoshop, I know, and I use Corel....but I have really been considering getting PS because of the actions...scripts are few and far between for PSP......now with that being said, I will tell about this...Mike's computer has been acting up terribly and we have tried everything to settle it down, besides taking it in to get it checked out...I know that HEAT is the major factor, he would not listen to me and use the horrible set up I have for my laptop...but MINE NEVER GETS HOT...it looks tacky, but I don't have problems!!, anyway...I have been watching for a good deal, and last week, QVC had a KILLER deal on an HP...I swear I still can't believe that we got this computer for so cheap!! anyway, part of the package is PS8...can you believe that??? So now I get to figure a new program out and a new computer along with Windows7.

Laurie...I take spells with the groups thing...sometimes I am very "intimidated" by it, and then other times, I will take on whatever!! I guess it depends on what is going on in my life at that time!! You really should go and not worry about the others!! You would feel good about it!!

I NEED ONE OF THOSE...hint hint!! and again...those were some fabulous looking chickens you whipped up the other night!! YUM!!! but again...I NEED TO LOSE 25 lbs too...stop killing me!!!
Andrea...sweetie ((hugs)) I wish I knew how to help...I hope that you can find another answer besides surgery!! I know you don't want to go this route...but in the long run..maybe it will get you back to your oldself and you can be as active as you want again!! don't dread the dr visit, look at it as you are going to get some good news and be able to MOVE on from this!! more (((HUGS)))

I am NanaLinda...or just Nana if you like Now get us some pics of your yard when you are all done...let us see your handy work!! Congrats on your baby walking!!! and yes...it's a great thing...but boy a good reason to cry...they are growing up plus you have a lot of chasing in your future now!! I keep my 7 mo old grandaughter and I say the longer it takes to walk the better!! My two daughters and my other grandchildren all did not walk until around 15mos!!

Happy Earth Day!
Nana - Thanks for the warm welcome. I'm afraid I won't be posting any pictures of the yard yet, it's still pretty lame. haha! We just moved into a new house, so I was adjusting the sprinklers and re-seeding some bare spots of the lawn and that sort of thing. If someone with a green thumb (mine tends to lean more toward the brown) wants to volunteer, that would be great!
It's looking to be a gorgeous day today, though. It rained all night (great sleeping weather and great for my new seeds) and now the sun is shining and there's not a cloud in the sky. Awesome!
Temptation Thursday - I'm torn between taking my coffee out to the patio and relaxing while Fancy Nancy takes a nap, and crawling back into my own bed for a while. Neither is going to happen, it seems, but that doesn't mean I'm not tempted!

Good morning Ladies! First time in the Daily Oooo's!
After rain yesterday, we have bright sun, but rain coming for the weekend. Hopefully washing out the oak pollen, been a miserable 3 weeks!
I understand the group thing -- my daughter says I would make a perfect hermit. She, on the other hand is an extrovert and literally wears me out with talking! But love her to pieces. Son is more like me.
Hmm, Temptation Thursday -- love this idea! Been slaving away working on making cuts and preparing our new fiscal year budget -- not many happy with me right now :-(.
My temptation? Leave the office and go home after meeting with a lender at lunch time!! Will it happen? Probably not, but it's a totally delicious thought!

always chatty at the O!!
Good morning! Happy Earth Day! At church last night Addie planted a flower for Earth day. It was super cute. She was quite proud of it. Of course this morning I found the whole thing on the floor. I'm guessing the cat knocked it down. i was able to save it before Addie saw it though.
Today will be a busy day, or at least a busy afternoon. I have to get my allergy shot, which I have to actually go in for now. Then Ethan wanted to start Garden Club at school which starts today and is every other Thursday for 4 Thursdays and wants me to come and then he has piano. I love that I can go and help today. That is so awesome. I'm very excited about that. Then tonight we have piano. Piano is always a busy night.
So, Derek and I have been battling about his brother's wedding reception again. His brother got married in Jamaica last week. When DH talked to his mom he was bummed the wedding actually happened. I think the reason it bothers me is that DH's brother claims his reason for not inviting his brothers to the wedding was money but is having the reception over 4th of July weekend in Indiana when we live in WA and his other brother lives in Alaska so flights over a holiday weekend aren't exactly cheap either. And when they chose the dates they didn't look into anything as far as pricing and nobody said anything to them. Plus, now with the move that is a lot of money we don't really have for a giant campfire. It is just infuriating. And his brother is just a butt. he doesn't have any relationship with us. he doesn't visit, call the kids on their birthdays, or even send them a card or anything for Christmas. It sucks. Their relationship is so much different than mine is with my sister. I would kick my kids' butts if they were like that with each other. And if my sister ever treated me with the disrespect that Derek's brother has shown his family you better believe I'd have something to say about it.
So, that is my rant for the day. So today is a gorgeous day. I want to go outside...sorta. I saw the scotchbroom blooming. Ick!! Makes me feel like doodoo!! For now until I get all medicated up we'll watch Dora. Addie is h ome today. We're not planning her to stay at home until the beginning of May but Derek is helping our friend go pick up her motorcycle. She is so cute watching Dora. She totally participates. It cracks me up. Well, I'm gonna get. I'll come back for personals in a while. Ciao.

But before I do all that, I'm working with my 10yo on speech writing. I'm really excited about this, because we watched a couple of wonderful speeches on YouTube just to see...including MLKjr's I have a Dream...I cried through it...but Emma turned around and said, did his dream come true? I told her we still have a long way to go as a nation and world, but we are definitely doing a lot better than they were at that pivotal part of history!!
Anyway, enough seriousness...off to play, play, play (and speech write, write, write!)

I'm slowly coming around to really love love love the outdoors...I think I may even take some pics of my tomato plants and blog about them today. I usually kill plants, so these tomatoes are a victory that i am totally reveling in!! hugs to you, love...enjoy today to the fullest!!

Hey everyone- I am back - great to see the O fam dropping in today- I'm working on a total kitchen rearrange, and lawn mowing- such a fun day - I really want a mt. dew- but we have none in the house- I usually keep it here for ds when he comes home from college - oh well - guess I could brew a pot of coffee and make banana nut muffins-or scones! I'm planning on gilled kabobs (in baskets vs skewers) for my dinner tonight.
