So, Addie has finally started being excited about reading so that is what we will work on in about 10 minutes.
So, I also want to ask everyone what they will be up to during this rapture weekend? Predicting the rapture? Hmpf!!! I keep wondering if maybe God sent this guy an email or something. These fanatic religious people freak me out. I guess he predicted the rapture in the 90's and that obviously was wrong. Not to mention the world is supposed to end next year isn't it? How many times can the world end or whatever? Geesh!!!
Okay...anyone have some great weekend plans? I plan to stay as low key as possible. And now I am off to teach Addie to read.

Clara: what is EBV?
We plan to do yard work Saturday and then we have a lock-in with our youth group Sat night. They are doing the service the next morning so we won't be getting sleep till at least 1 on Sunday afternoon. But Matt has his last performance at 3 so he won't get any sleep at all. He's used to it with his crazy part time graveyard shift at his second hospital. He only does that once or twice a month though.
I'm with you on getting finances in order. I've decided to wait on the horse. I will be focusing my time on the kids and on photography. I plan to take classes in the fall and spring and learn everything I can. One of my favorite photographers in the area is Jodie Otte. She is fabulous and a horse person! I hope to meet her in person and maybe learn a few things from her.
I have done a few layouts yesterday and one today. Yay! my first couple were really crappy, but they're getting better. I didn't know you could lift for CT's. I thought we had to completely make it up ourselves. Good to know. That will help a lot. I was over at mscraps today and saw a good number of you lovely ladies over there and on their ct as well. Hmmm. Clara I will try out some more challenges to get these creative juices flowing again. I think my main problem is I can't come up with a good LO on my own. Now that I am putting horses on the back burner I have tons of free time during the day until Summer hits. I am so bored. I can't get a job because summer is less than 1 month away. You can only clean so much! My workout friend has abandoned me so I haven't been to the gym. It's so boring going by yourself. So I need to find a new gym buddy. So I will be on here more often at least until June 17.

EBV = Epstein Barr Virus. It is a virus that is similar to mono and many people get it after they get mono. It is basically a watered down mono but it seems to never go away. I had it in high school and once you've had it you can get it again if you are not careful. It sits dormant in 95% of the population but once it gets activated it is always in the back of your mind. My junior year of high school I had a low-grade fever most of the year and also ended up with strep throat 14 times during the year...not to mention I hardly remember the year. It started getting a little better my senior year but was still very present. If I were to get mono the chances of me getting EBV I would guess are very likely.
Katrina - good luck with your photography goals. You definitely need to start setting money aside for equipment now. It can get very spendy. It can be spendy even if you do it for a hobby. I would look into trying to buddy up with a local photographer to try and learn all you can from them, along with the classes. Also, you can always lift LOs as long as you credit them. I always include a link when I do. The easiest way to keep track of them is to mark them as favorites in the gallery, that way you can get to them later and always have a link to the page. Good luck. Oh, and I always use templates and stuff with CT work too and use them for challenges and stuff when I can...especially at the site they are from. Gets extra views of the kit that way.

Where is everyone at??? I hope everyone has sunshine and they are off enjoying it. I tried to enjoy it but thanks to this wonderful sinus infection my head felt like exploding and I went and bought a eye - ice thing then back home. I did let Addie get a McD's ice cream cone though first.

and, no, we are cool and rainy here. we def need the rain, but not all at once lol!
I think maybe we need to have a rapture party this weekend. Hubby and I were laughing yesterday as we sat in the drive thru of a local greasy spoon, that we could get whatever we wanted with no regard to fat/calories because the rapture was coming
