Do you? Use quick pages, pre-made clusters, templates to jumpstart your creativity or just to save time?

I won't lie - I do. I love using templates so I don't need to worry about how to arrange my photos on the page. Or an occasional quickpage to get the layout started... and of course clusters - those are great and make my pages look a little different from what I normally create which adds variety to my albums. Below are a couple of recent pages done - mostly - with pre-made stuff. Each layout took less than 30 minutes - how amazing is that???? And of course, my signature was done with pre-made clusters too. (Full credits in the gallery).

I love templates or sketches to get started. A lot of times you can't even recognize the template when I'm done, but I love to use them!

I feel templates are a lot of work? I don't mind using them, but for me it does not get my pages done faster.

I use them so now and then! I always feel like they limited my creativity a bit!

Yes i love clusters, because making your own cluster is a lot of work and I'm not that good at it.
I mainly use templates when I want to tell a story with multiple photos, but I usually make a design without a template

I prefer to design my own clusters and pages but will use templates or premade clusters occasionally. That is usually when a designer wants them used or for a template challenge. For challenges with templates, I will move or adjust the template photo masks as needed. Occasionally a template will jump out and grab my creative side and won't let me rest until I use it. :D I love making clusters and try to design them to enhance the page or photos on the page.

One thing I have found when making clusters is to throw several elements on a blank page and move them around and layer them a few different ways. Sometimes that will cause an 'eureka' moment and change what I will be do for the rest the page. Always love those moments.

I use templates a lot, but cluster only once in a while. I prefer to make them myself, since scrapping for me is about the creativity. And often when I use clusters, I tend to add to them. QPs ... I'd say never, but I cannot swear it never happened.

I love templates, especially multi photos templates.
For my album I usually make one white space page mixed with a multiphotos one. Like that.

There are times when I use templates a lot then I’ll go through a period where I don’t use them. I’ve actually found myself using clusters more lately. I think I used to be afraid of them as much as I am of creating my own clusters. I only use QPs if I’m doing it for a CT. If I use them, I feel like a bit of a fraud. Guilt is what I do best and that’s true in scrapping too.

I LOVE templates and feel like they're a great starting place. I quite often change them around, but I do love using them. I don't consider pre-made pages the same as templates - I honestly don't use clusters a whole lot - I love making my own.

I never used to use templates but when I started to this last year or two, I realized how much fun it can be, it's a great starting point and can be manipulated as desired. Sometimes I use clusters, resizing, rotating and erasing what I don't need out of it. I don't use quick pages but have seen some wonderful ones and can see the appeal in creating a quick, fast LO.

I will be perfectly honest, I love to use natali's kits becuase they always have clusters in all different varieties to make it wasy to creat a layout.

I use templates a lot. I am pretty bad at clustering. Something I do is pull a cluster off of a template and use that to make a new file, turn that into a cluster template (I wish there were more premade ones of them) then make my cluster form that.

I adore templates but like Trina it's sometimes hard to see the template when I'm done except in general concept. I also use clusters but usually add to them. I really have to work at clusters so I like the inspiration I get when looking at them.
