Time has come and with the nice weather we had today, daddy's barbecue is out and running! The wind was a bit chilly still and we didn't eat outside but we are already enjoying grilled yumminess.

Here are the mackerels my dad has fished and we had a super yummy lunch!

What do you like for barbecue? Meat, fish? Something more uncommon! Tell me everything!!

my favorite barbecue is bacon wrapped around scallops, however love it all hamburg, hot dogs, sausage, chicken, pork, beef and especially veal chops!!

I love grilled salmon with lemon slices, parsley potatoes and green salad. However, I love most foods...

Nini, I only tried mackarel for the first time last year. We went to the pier and fished some for ourselves - which was great fun to begin with, and we LOVED it. In Iceland mackarel is not a popular fish to eat, both my mom and MIL refused to even try it, but it was delicious straight off the grill :)

I love mackerels! I buy them smoked but I am curious how they taste with other ways of cooking.

My favorite BBQ dish is sate babi, that are pieces of pork on a stick strung usually 3. Originally from Indonesia with a yummy peanut sauce a very popular sauce in Holland, we eat it with French fries. and bacon rashers or "speklapjes"

I love just about anything on the grill! I use it about every day when the weather is nice. A new favorite at our house is grilled pizza :)

We love your standards - steak, hot dogs, chicken, burgers, vegetables, pork tenderloin....ooooh I have wonderful recipe for that. mmmm I'm hungry now.

You all make me drool!!! I want to have barbecue too today but I'm back home now and I will have to wait until next week when I'm at my parents lol

My mum likes to make yakitori too and I think we shall have those in the near future ;)

We grill all year long. I like grilled corn on the cob, chopped veggies grilled with balsamic vinegar and a drizzle of honey and olive oil and stuffed burgers with BBQ sauce

OMGoodness, you make me droool all over my keyboard :-D where I come from, we don´t do BBQ that much as you guys, but occasionally, when we´re invited, I love a good steak, zucchini and eggplant, and lots of onions!

I love BBQ weather, even though we don't typically eat a lot of meat here. Very rarely I will eat a burger-- grilled burgers are the only way to go ;)
We do a lot of grilled veggies and veggies sandwiches/quesadillas. Grilled salmon is also delish!
