Hi, I'm Rae and I'm hosting the mood board challenge this month. At first glance, the colorful blocks look very similar but look closer, you will see many ideas for your layout design.

The Mood Board has 12 numbered blocks.
Please pick your inspirations from your choice of any 5 blocks,
Inspirations can be items in the image, colors, textures, action or holiday
anything that sparks your creative mojo.
There may be more than 1 inspiration in a block.
Please list the number of the blocks and your inspirations in your post in this thread.

At first glance, it may look as though my layout has nothing in common with the mood board but it does. Here's what I took inspiration from:
#1 heart shape
#2 door
#9 flowers
#10 top weighted element design
#12 blue butterfly

I can't wait to see your layout, what blocks you chose and what specifically inspired you from your chosen blocks.

Great challenge, Rae!
I used inspiration from #1, 2, 9, 10, 12 and explained here…..
I normally struggle with the Mood Board Challenges, but this one really came to life for me this month. Thanks for the inspirations, Rae!
My main inspiration was the door in #2. When I saw the door, I thought of the Bible verse I have on my page. Being saved means having eternal life. The universal color for life is red. Red is found in almost all of the squares, but I will go with #10 because the dripping red reminds me of the blood Jesus shed on the cross for our sins. (So the door is red and the drips are red.) Why did He do this? Because He loves us! Love is symbolized using hearts, so that is square #1. Square #9 makes me happy! Knowing I have eternal life makes me happy! And, last of all, I love butterflies, so square #12!

I took inspiration from #1 the curved lines of the quilted heart for the greenhouse, #2 the door, #7 the leaded glass feel of the black lines over the picture below, #8 the road in the horse photo, #10 the multicolored oil painting for the photo effect and dripping paint.

Great challenge, thanks for hosting, Rae. I'm fascinated my pictures of the corona virus, it's so deadly yet oddly intriguing. Used a variety of Anna Aspnes' goodies: radial stamps, flower and sun elements and a dark background paper.
Inspiration from boards: 1, 3, 9, 11 & 12. Top weighted design, butterfly, flowers, circle, sun and hearts.
