Are you ready for fall?
Yesterday autumn started, but here in Belgium it was still really summer weather.
I think autumn is a fantastic season because of the colors, but I will miss the summer, especially the bees and butterflies in my garden ...

I'm getting ready. We just moved from a hot all year climate to a 4 seasons climate. I got some tall, waterproof boots today and a hooded raincoat. I got several pairs of warm leggings and a few new hooded, zip up sweatshirts.

Autumn announce winter, and I don't like the cold weather and the lack of sun....

autumn - the days are shorter - it is getting colder - and we have been spoiled in Belgium ... from spring until now it has almost always been very sunny ... but for nature a lot of rain is needed ...

Yes... I am looking forward to the cool crisp days of fall. We are still having the heat of summer and I am ready for a change.

Ready or not the fall weather has arrived here and we are having our first real downpour in months! This is the first of a series of three storms to pass through our area. Some places are expecting over 100mm of the wet stuff. We won't see the sun again until at least Tuesday :mmph: The leaves are changing colour and once the sun comes out again we will have the lovely colours of the season! But I want summer back, can't we have a do-over??

I know, me too! I like Autumn for the food-but not the weather. I also like decorating for Halloween but I don't need any weather/seasonal reason to do that. We have skeletons and bats and spooky plates that are kept out year round

And as someone writes, autumn brings us to Christmas and I'm not ready for that at all!
