I'll be in PA in State College the week of August 2nd. I have either Thursday or Friday that I can dedicate to meeting my imaginary friends (preferably Thursday - Mr Gorgeous is such a phenom man!!), so let me know if there is somewhere we can meet up in the Northeast and who all can do it!! :)
 
Sally, get Mr. Gorgeous to come to the Midwest sometime soon! Minneapolis, KC, Omaha...just saying!!!
 
That is about the same distance for me too 6-7 hours....

I would SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO love to come...but we are leaving for the beach on Sat the 7th...might have to think about a quick overnighter!!!
 
I'll be in Cleveland. I don't know if I could actually do it, but it isn't all that far...so maybe. Hmmmm...I'll have to look into it. What city is that?? I have the beach trip going on too and I think we are leaving Cleveland on that Thursday...Ugh...Timing. I sure hope it could work out that would be sooooooooooo awesome.

It is a 4 hour trip from Cleveland and then a 9 hour trip to ft. bragg so maybe if i beg and plead i could make it work. hmmmm...we'll see what i can do. maybe if you guys planned something really fun that boys liked to do...just saying.
 
Well, NanaLinda, we are talking about possibly flying into Baltimore, which means that we would be flying out of there and can be closer to you on Friday...Tickets aren't bought yet, so I'm trying to get a feel for who can meet where when! :)

I just have to say, in Texas speak...5 hours is not that far away...ie, you are still in Texas!! LOL!! But if I can even get to see a few of you girlies, it'll make it so much better for me!! :)
 
LindaS, girlie, I'm thinking about a road trip near you...to Omaha would be the best...I have a bunch of fun friends in that area!! :) and relatives in Kansas City!! (Can you tell I'm Jones-ing for a road trip????)
 
oh what the heck Sally!! if you are after a trip then come on down to Helen and I in aussie land!!! THEN you will know about travelling big distances!!!! :biggrin: bwahahaha!!!
 
Okay, So, I vote for Thursday...I talked to DH and we are going to drive that wayish on Thursday and then head down to W. Virginia on Friday and then to N. Carolina on Saturday and then to the beach on Sunday to see Nana Linda. Whoohoo!!! I would have to look at a map but we could totally work out something fun.

I was at dinner tonight and said something about hopefully meeting up with some of my imaginary friends and my friend Emily's eyes lit up and she got all excited and while my other friends were looking at me like I was kind of weird, she knew exactly what I was talking about and started telling me how excited she was for me and told me about meeting some of her imaginary frinds when she was in Minnesota or someplace obscure like that. It was kinda fun. Then we had to explain to the non-understanding types about the imaginary friends and how cool they were. They didn't really get it because they just don't know. But it is all good.

Oh, and I just want to burst everyone's bubble because I was totally bummed. I talked to Sally on the phone the other day about a homeschooling thing and you'll never believe this...NO ACCENT!!! What the heck??? My bubble was totally popped. So now I have to move to NC and get one now. The to Texas and get and even better one in San Antonio. That's my big plan anyway. LOL!! I'll get enough accent for us both. Hahaha!!
 
Sally- I am trying to work out a time to visit my roomie, Joselle, and see her new baby! She lives in Bloomsburg, PA which is within an hour of State College (I went to college in Lock Haven which is about 45 min's from State College :) )We have a dr appt on the 2nd and 3rd and out anniversary is the 4th... but if I can work something out, I am trying!
