Anyone doing One Word for 2023?

Is anyone doing One Word for 2023? Instead of goals for 2023 (which will be in the rearview mirror the first week of January), I am doing one word for the year. I've been really thinking about 2023 and I am making "Courage" my one word and adding a vision board. A few years ago I made a vision board that had a picture of water and a lighthouse and I now live about 45 minutes from a lighthouse and water. My oh my!

What about you? Anything like that planned?

Just like resolutions, I've done One Little Words with good intentions but never followed through. It's just not my thing, I guess! #dk

I too have been thinking about OLW for 2023. I have come up with "NOURISH". I want to nourish my mind, soul and body.

Oh, I've forgotten to think about a word for 2023. Here's my word for 2022:

full

I think I did good. At least first half of the year. Last few months, it somewhat felt like I took a step back, and been a bit low. Hope to get back on track.

Need to think about a word!

I did it for 2022 but not sure it actually had an impact. Gonna think about it for 2023.

I haven't decided yet. Nothing has hit me so far. I did it for several years, though. I'm just thankful for everything, so that word usually trumps anything else I can think ot.

I don't think I had a word for 2022. I like to scrap my word and keep that image to look at during the year. I don't see it as something you "keep up" with but something to strive for and ponder. It helps to write down why a word seemed right for the year. And as life has its way, a word may not be right the whole year.

In view of the energy crisis and the war in the Ukraine, that EVERYTHING has changed here in Germany this year, so I had to give up any goals and plans, I only have one word, very humbly, it is --> Hope

I see the word as a goal. Or maybe I should say like a guide for the next year. It's something I want to focus on and striving towards. I'm not 100% sure, but I think my word for 2023 will be PRESENT. I want a word that sort of combine being calm, being focused and keeping my eyes on the now. Not longing to either the future or the past. Living in the now, taking it in and enjoy life as it is, not how it was or how it will be.

I like that word Eva.

I agree...with one word, I don't really think of it as a goal. I think of it as a focus that would bring value to my life...not something to be checked off as accomplished or not accomplished.

I haven't decided yet if I'll mess with this again this year. I never seem to remember it past about Feb 1.....

These three layouts are my trilogy for 2023. I didn't realize that's what I was going to do until I got into the challenge of doing three layouts with one kit by @seniorgal. I am going to get these made into Mixtiles and hang them on my office wall.

The first one is directional and the way that I would like the world to move forward. Unfortunately, I only control myself so I'm committed to moving forward with love.

The second one is a vision board. I made a Vision Board a few years ago and we wound up in Florida. I had never thought of moving to Florida when I created that Vision Board but when I looked back at it, there was a significant amount of water and a lighthouse. We live about 45 minutes from a lighthouse!

I have two things on the 2023 board...I need a valve replacement (the heart in the corner in the light) and I want to spend more time at the ocean. I'm going to keep that in front of me this coming year.

And my third layout is my one word for 2023. Courage...no matter what the world is throwing at us, courage seems more and more necessary all of the time.

That's how I see it as well. Hoping that thinking about it and what it means will inspire me to see it and live it.

I was right that I didn't choose a word for 2022 but I did this LO that in looking back probably was what I needed and given what I've accomplished maybe it was a good thing.

I think I want AWARE for 2023 to be aware of the things I can do and be in the moment. Have to give it more thought.

You are all very inspiring. I am like @AZK, I don't do resolutions, One Word, or Project 52-type things because I know I either become obsessed and fail or give up and fail LOL
I really do like the idea of thinking ahead to the coming year and figuring out how to perceive the upcoming changes. I'll have to think about this some more. If I come up with a word, I;ll let you all know ;)
