Hello aArtists!

It’s time for another challenge from Anna Aspnes. The AnnaTeam selects a creative page or design concept from the Anna gallery as the ‘AnnaLift.’ Be inspired, create your own ‘AnnaLift,’ upload your page to the Anna gallery and include it here in this forum thread. Upload your page by Friday November 3, 2023 by 8:00 pm EST with the title, ‘AnnaLift. ’ One lucky participant will be randomly selected to win a $5.00 GiftKard to Anna’s shop.

HOW IT WORKS: On Saturday the AnnaTeam posts a creative concept from the Anna gallery as the ‘AnnaLift.’ Check out the inspiration and decide what speaks to you. Is it the design, the color, the wordART, or maybe the photo? Then enjoy artfully playing—there is no right or wrong way to ArtPlay.

Choose ONE idea to lift or choose it ALL and lift it completely. Be inspired, create your ‘AnnaLift’ and then upload your page to the Anna gallery, plus include it here in this forum thread. It would be great if you could link back to your page in the gallery too!

Anna’s products mix well with so many kits/designers and Anna welcomes you to include these with your Anna Products on your AnnaLift page.

If you’ve never challenged yourself to an AnnaLift—just do it!

If you’ve never posted or shared your AnnaLift—just do it!

If you have time to leave some love for someone in the gallery—do it too!
(Your kind words may inspire and encourage someone!)

Please post your art in this thread and link to the Anna Aspnes gallery to win the $5 giftcard.

Fall by Sucali

Fall by Sucali illustrates a delightful relationship between two young girls. The secondary title is a double play on the brilliant colors of fall and the smiles and laughter of the children. A framed portrait is centered in the design. The image is ground with paper bits and staples. Bold dots create a strong horizontal band. A late summer rose accents the frame adding dimension and color. Artsy Transfers add splashes of deep rose, creme, and brown. Artsy strokes strengthen the edges of the paint layers. The artsy strokes add movement and tension to the composition. Sucali has captured a moment with her photo but preserved the image for a lifetime.

Thank you - sucali - for sharing your stunning and inspirational artistry.

IDEAS TO INSPIRE: Use ONE or MORE of the following in your AnnaLift layout.

• Capture your love, your passion . . .
• Frame or blend a photo . . .
• Add impact to a small photo with white space . . .
• Use a bold clean brush for an accent . . .
• Add artsy strokes for movement . . .
• Add transfers on a clean ground . . .
• Double the impact of a word art title - use it for a title and journaling . . .

PRODUCTS TO INSPIRE:

ArtPlay Palette Summer’s End
ArtPlay Palette Eunoia
ArtPlay Palette Sophistica
Time Brad Pack No. 1
Artsy Transfers Jouer

Thanks Nancy for the challenge!

I started with photos, and an ink jpg from the web. At first no frames, I added the flowers because that's hard for me. The one photo in two frames because I didn't want to find something not already in front of me. By the end I still couldn't create any underlying horizontal line with hardware having tried throughout. So I added the hinges and clumps of stitches at the right to suggest the hardware is out there. I love hardware, but this is my last October trip page and I needed to use those three photos on one page.:D
