Ha!Ha! I know it is a dilemma! You want to have candy in case someone shows up but they may or may not come. I should try to buy candy I don't like but they keep putting the bags with tootsie rolls on sale!Sadly, our neighborhood has never gotten many trick or treaters. So any Halloween candy I buy is for me. lol (Not sure that solves your problems though.)
I bet it's beautiful where you live! We lived out in the country years ago.We don't have any Halloween candy to dip into. I don't eat candy, but dh does, and he always has a candy stash. We have no neighbors for miles, so no trick or treater's.
That's a great idea to tie the bags up!I am lucky that we only get a handful of Trick or Treaters, three bags of candy is usually all I need. I don't dip into them myself but I sure as heck don't trust the rest of the family. #angry2
I put the candy bags in a plastic bag and tie it closed so they get the hint. LOL
I understand that, for sure! I just ate a tootsie roll!I haven't bought any this year because it wouldn't last until Halloween!
I won't tell on you if you don't tell on me! My box of candy is getting lower!I may or may not have just bought another bag of candy because the one I bought last week is gone...
I don't think I could buy chocolate and not eat it! I am so proud of you, Rae! Today I bagged up the candy into small bags. That way they are all ready to hand out tomorrow and out of my way!I have 3 bags of chocolate bars and they are stored in the garage, out of sight. So far we have resisted temptation.
Exactly! Those are my sentiments! My feet keep leading me to the closet the candy is stored in! Today I put the candy in individual bags so it will be easier to resist now. But, chocolate! That would be VERY hard to resist! Yum!We don't get any kids here but that doesn't stop hubby from buying the boxes of chocolate bars. We have gone through 2 boxes already and I sure don't need it but when it is in the house my hand strays toward the bowl. must be a ghost leading me. ha ha
