4 Day weekend!

When I started at my current employer 10 years ago the first holiday to come up was Easter and I was informed that 'Easter Monday' was, in fact, a holiday and a paid day off.

Still think that's funny 10 years later but very excited to have a 4 day weekend! lol

Does anyone else have a 4 day weekend? It's also my district's Spring Break next week, so it'll be a slower pace (which is good, things were insane the last month).

Yes, 4 day weekend here in Sweden as well. No plans other than eating LOL

yep, we get 4 days Downunder as well.............. but being retired, having a 4 day long weekend doesn't really excite us anymore!!!! hahahahaa!!!

Yes, 4 day weekend here in Germany as well. Now that I'm retired, it doesn't matter anymore. LOL

Since everyone in my house has weird schedules, weekends don't been anything anymore. But I remember the excitement of having long weekends. Hope that you have a fantastic one, Trina

It seems that in larger companies or organizations in the USA, having Easter Monday off isn't that uncommon. In my working life, that was never offered. Now that I'm retired, I'm looking forward to going to Good Friday services today. I was never able to go before because of work.

I think it depends on the company you work for. My DD does NOT get the 4 day weekend because she works for a small company, but she used to and the kids are all out of school.

We have long weekend and Easter next week as my family is Orthodox, but this weekend are the holidays of flowers, so it's festive here too.
