100 Days Project Challenge? Anyone doing?

I know this is an old thread but when I first discovered Digital Scrapbooking, I also discovered the 100 days project and I had all these photos that were just lying around on my hard drive. So I started out doing my life story - pretty much - for 100 days as I discovered how to also do digital scrapping. This was at another gallery of course.

Making one LO every day for just over 3 months was exhausting, but well worth it at the end. I had a lot of fun. I learned heaps about scrapping. Even though my software is limited. I ran out of family photos by day 70, so my last 30 days were on other topics.

Sadly I have not taken any new Photos in the last 5 years since I started scrapping. For 2 reasons - 1 the camera is broken, and 2 mostly due to my medical issues and the Pandemic, I seldom go outside, and I am no longer able to just "go for a walk". The only times I venture outside now is just to attend medical appointments.

My point is that I can sometimes take inspiration from the 500+ LO's I made on the old site for new LO's on this site. I would love to be able to reuse my photos - If the subject matter and/or challenges line up.

Take next month for example. Halloween. I have tons of photos of my son in various Halloween costumes as he was growing up and I would love to be able to use them. :D

Oh and no I have no plans to ever do the 100 days project again. Once was enough. Besides, I am out of photos. :)

OK I have set up a new Halloween Challenge in the Members Challenge Forum - Halloween Challenge 2024 - if anyone wants to participate. Thank you.

Robyn, @Robloz55 I saw where there's a new 100 Day Challenge that just started. I did the first one, which several of us on here participated in. I made a few layouts, but mainly did all ATC's of memories of my husband. I probably won't ever do another one either. It was a lot of work.

I'm anxious to see your new challenge.

Hi Robynne, I totally missed your post! wow! scrapping 70 family photos is fantastic! :cheer: Like both you and Cheryl said above, doing the 100 day challenge was pretty exhausting but I am so happy that I did it. 95% of my projects were physical art journal pages so my craft table was a constant MESS!! but towards the end I did make a few digital layouts which I have printed out and incorporated into my 100 day art journal. :dancingelephant:

I often re-use my photos, especially of my grandkids, I figure when I am gone they can figure out which ones they want to keep or get rid off! :giggle4: and using old layouts as inspiration to create new ones is a terrific idea, you don't have to 're-invent the wheel' each time. It surprising how two layouts, using the same components can look so different if you are using different digital products on each one! :) Have fun creating the challenges in the Members Challenge forum and please, just pop into the Scrap Chatter forum to let people know that you have posted one so they can come and join you. :)
