It is summer - and really hot - here in the US and July means Independence Day. I am unashamedly a Patriot and a former active duty member of the US Army who took an oath for life, so this day has a much different meaning for me than for some.

The background is paper 3 in multiply mode over paper 1, then paper 3 in Multiply mode is used as an overlay. Word Art from the collection is also blended over the background for the title.

Created for the July Artist Inspiration Challenge. I don't actually have any special breakdown for this page. I loved the background paper so much that I didn't need to blend any other papers with it. So basically it was just resizing elements and adding shadows this time.
