This is a photograph of my maternal grandfather and his 5 siblings. I only knew him and his two sisters, Rosetta and Adeline. Adeline was the baby and she lived to be 100 years old. My grandfather died in 1965 at the age of 65. The date on the layout is 1905. I used Karen Schulz My Story...

Thanks to Karen for the Love Yourself Mini Kit. I also added an edge and some elements from Bushel of Blessings.

I used Karen Schultz's Use It All Kit, plus elements from Take Time To Relax and Grandparents' Word Art. I blended the three papers together to get the shading where I wanted it. I used all of the elements, plus the extra kit's ellements and the word art.

I absolutely love the concept behind this new collection. Creating simple pages that tell our own stories. I think that's the part that too many scrappers like to skip and I think doing it is so important, so I love this new collection.

Karen Schulz has a new collection - My Story Collection. I had recurring dreams my entire childhood and finally talked to my mother about them. This collection made me "dig deep" and write this important event from my two-year-old self. I realize, now, that this story needed to be documents...
