I followed the tutorial which was super easy and used just the filters suggested.
Merged the filtered layers, added a mask and placed it on the blended background papers. (The papers from Lynne Anzelc, Countryside are not predominant but provided the colours and textures I wanted.)

I used a section of the water lily background paper to make the mixed media paper look more like a pond scene. I made the rock from the shell and splatter files. I used layer masks to erase sections of each of those files to form a single artsy transfer.
