Journaling reads: As the spring rains begin, so does the flooding. We got a ton of rain over- night last night. Not everyone was upset that the field was flooded!
I clipped an enlarged copy of the photo onto a mixed media paper and changed the opacity of it so it picked up the texture of the paper.

*I used 3 papers blended together to form the background...2 of the papers are the same...I recolored the dots on one so I had 2 different tones for texture & effect for blending...I put the 2 papers on top of each other & blended them...
This is a pretty straight forward layout. I created the washi tape used with the journaling box by cutting out the part of the paper I wanted to use, setting the opacity to 75% and then using the dodge and burn tools to help make the "washi tape" look creased.
